Beautiful, peaceful cemetery with old worn gravestones.

✝️Shaded Walking Paths - Historical Burying Ground✝️ Located near King's Square (an equally enjoyable park), the Loyalist Burial Ground is the resting place of many Americans/Loyalists who migrated north to escape the Revolutionary War. The oldest gravestone is dated at 1784, belonging to Coonradt Hendricks. The grounds are constructed almost like a natural park. There are various paths to take across the hilly, green, tree-shadowed land. The tall iron gates at the front mark the iconic entry point. Perhaps the most popular attraction here is the Beaver Statue, which depicts four bronze beavers hard at work constructing a dam upon a mirror-like fountain.

This is such a beautiful place to see. I love watching the squirrels and the trees are beautiful the benches are beautiful it looks more like a park then a burial ground it has such a historical background to it and it is very popular for locals to hangout and it's also very popular among tourist as well they love taking pictures and it's just a very beautiful all around place to go and see and it's very comforting.

Beautiful historic cemetery. Only a shame that garbage is all over the place. And some headstones have fallen over and show no signs of any restoration attempt.

Another beautiful park where the grounds are well-maintained. Tombstones are falling apart, but they're also from the late 1700s. Lots of sketchy people, though. I probably wouldn't advise walking here alone at night.

The stream of water is spouting out from beaver fountain in Burial Cemetery with tallest woods forest in Saint John. Excellent relaxing park.

Very somber, but know that most of the stones are illegible.

Yet another beautiful spot to wander through. A few sketchy things going on in the cemetary, but I ignored them and paid attention to the old graves and paid my respects. You can spend a decent amount of time walking around the well-maintained grounds. Trees are old and if they could talk... Go during the day; night visits would be a hard no for me.
