At the price we paid for a spacious "Loyfa Suite Seaview", which was pretty reasonable, I suppose I shouldn't complain too much. But then I have stayed at cheaper places in Thailand that are much better, and I have to say there were quite a few things that really put us off, and would stop us even considering staying here again. The bathroom was dysfunctional - dreadful shower that would never point in the right direction, and gave little more than a trickle, toilet that took half an hour to refill with water (we told them, but they just fiddled with it which made no difference) -- we resorted to refilling the cistern with the spray gun, nowhere to hang things, little space for one's toiletries. Lousy small single pillows on the bed. Not exceptionally clean -- housekeeping need a kick in the backside. The fabric of the whole hotel is very tired indeed.
Breakfast (included) was bad - after Day1 we elected to go find something better elsewhere. And service was inattentive and far from enthusiastic. Worst thing was my partner wanted a massage at the mini-spa by the pool just outside our room; no customers there, but the massage woman told my partner that she had to go all the way to the main spa (other side of the resort, up a hill, down some steps, and then all the way back again) in order to make a booking and pay! Utter madness. Needless to say she couldn't be bothered.
View from the room was good, mattress reasonably comfortable, balcony pleasant for a morning coffee, location okay for us (we had our car). But I really can't recommend it.
