Entering the Slovenian city of Koper evokes special emotions as you pass through a series of beautiful streets with the seal of a former Venetian look. The center of Koper, which exudes a special relaxing energy, is dominated by Tito Square. There are many beautiful and historic buildings in this historic picturesque Mediterranean square. Among them is the Town Lodge. This lodge is located in front of Praetorians Palace at Titov Square. Interesting is the historical role of such buildings in Istria. The Town Lodge, a medieval public purpose building, is an essential element of living within urban settlements. The Lodge was any space where direct contact between citizens and authorities was made. From the very beginning it was the meeting place of the inhabitants of Koper. Built by Venetians in the 15th century, it is always offered to be an interesting place for social life. This Lodge is now an exhibition gallery on the first floor, and an interesting ground floor cafe with a beautiful setting and views of the entire Tito Square.
