LTU Garden

I just read the most recent review which was very negative. I must say that my girlfriend and I had a completely opposite experience. I’m very well-traveled and this place was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at while vacationing in a beach-town. Luka-the owner was incredibly nice to us and was waiting to let us in the gate even though we arrived late. Plus as an added bonus there is an incredible bar/restaurant which is a part of the hotel across the street. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner date and we were blown away by the whole experience. Not to mention the views from the cliffs next to the bar/restaurant puts Rick’s Cafe to shame. The prices, food quality, service and ambiance puts Rick’s to shame. This hotel and restaurant should be on any list of recommended places to eat and sleep in Negril. I didn’t even mention the history of the place and how the restaurant has kept certain items on the menu since the previous owner had the business. I would have never guessed we would find delicious schnitzel in Jamaica. Again! Do not listen to negative reviews of this place. Those people probably should’ve stayed at Sandals.

AMAZING ! Stunning location in beautiful gardens. The pool area is stunning. The room was perfect , really comfy beds and the shower had hot and cold running water ( not everywhere on the westend has that luxury !.) The balcony is brilliant, lovely view of the gardens and even has a hammock . |The restaurant just across the road ,owned by the same people, is excellent , serving great food and cocktails. |Luca and Kerry- Anne are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. Ginger the dog came to say hello every morning 😁|This place ticks every single box for us and we can't wait to come back next year !

Paradise in Paradise. Beautiful rooms in a tropical garden. Rooms were very clean and beds super comfortable. The place is located at the more quieter side of Negril, West End, which I enjoyed a lot. Easy to walk around and get (public) transport. The hotel owners and staff are super nice and very helpful. They make you feel ‚at home‘. The restaurant opposite with a breathtaking view of the ocean and cliffs serves delicious food! I initially booked for 4 nights, extended and then came back to the place towards the end of my holidays. Totally recommend (and I’m picky when it comes to hotels and cleanliness ;))

Poor experience. Room was outdated. Bedding smelled old and unwashed. Water would frequently stop running during baths or would not come on altogether. Pool was not cleaned frequently. All in all, the whole place just looked and felt depressing and run down. I suspect a lot of these positive reviews are fake or doctored. Website photos do not give an accurate view of what the property and rooms actually look like presently - maybe those photos were taken when the property was just opened? Only plus was the proximity to Rick's Cafe and Negril town. Everything else was a disappointment.

Great local hotel. Luscious grounds, lovely Jamaican style rooms, all right across the street from Ltu Gardens restaurant with a killer gorgeous view! Kerry Ann and her husband were very welcoming.

I searched through Google looking for a simple place to enjoy the natural beauty of Negril, big resorts and commercial spots are not my thing. LTU GARDEN offers botanically inspired grounds with simple, no frills accommodates perfect for my hippy heart. Kerry Ann is delightful, very flexible and helped us get checked in and provided text support for needed questions. The rooms are basic and clean. Bring your own coffee and snacks as you won’t find those items in your room (although there is a coffee pot, cups and a mini fridge to store goods). Our little porch was shaded with a hammock and surrounded by flowers. I can’t believe the landscaping here! We enjoyed time in the relaxed pool area and lots of melas right across the small street at LTU garden roof top restaurant. Again, for those travelers who enjoy a bit more local flare with friendly customer service, this is your spot! Support small business and trusted service with LTU. If I come back to Negril, I’d stay here again.

Lovely food, nice walk up the Westend on the way to Rick's Cafe, dropped in many times over the years. Food and Drinks, lovely sitting watching the sea and dropping out of society for a while. |Good chats with others passing by, lovely a friendly would return.
