Clean and very nice hostel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay here great! We were a high school group of about 35 persons on a school trip; we had to leave early in the morning to go to the airport and the staff made our whole group sack breakfasts to go. Also one of the staff went out with me in the middle of the night to show me where to get something I needed for a sick girl. They are all very helpful and nice. So I definitely recommend this place.

Everything about our stay here was kick-ass! The staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful. The architecture of the building is functional and gorgeous. The dorm rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. Staying at Lub D in Bangkok made our whole trip to Thailand painless and comfortable. I'd recommend it any day for people looking to stay in a hostel in Bangkok.

I stayed at Lub D for two nights while travelling alone. The railway room was perfect for what I needed - clean, comfy bed and enough space for my belongings. It's quite a quiet hostel (not many people in the bar/shared area when I was around) and is great for exploring Silom/surrounding areas, but a little further away from other Bangkok attractions. I didn't use the pool/gym offer but thought it was a nice touch and if I had stayed longer I would have gone. Shared bathroom area was clean and facilities were as you'd expect for a shared hostel.

Great hostel! I stayed in a private room which was pretty much equivalent to a 3 star hotel. The only downsides are that it's a fairly quiet hostel (this could be an upside for some!) and there's no elevator, so you'll have to carry all your bags up and down. Otherwise, a nice place to get a peaceful night's sleep.

This place is great. I'm not very picky but it met all of my needs to the fullest standard. It was clean, in a good location, and the staff helped me out a lot. They were very informative about how to get around the city and little tricks to enjoying the culture. I'm glad I picked this Hostel to start off my trip. There is a booth set up with some staff with a company called Sta who were also very helpful. They got me all set up with a flight and a room in Chiang Mai. Regina and (I think) Alex where great. Like free travel agents.

One of nice and cool budget hotel in Bangkok. Nice atmosphere and chill environment with many artists decorated around the hotel. This place is very convenient close to public transport. Staff are very friendly and the hotel are clean and comfy. Enjoy a nice stay here though it was many years ago travel in Bangkok! What a good experience in Bangkok.

Very cool place! Totally worth for value...you can get a taxi from the hostel for less than a-100 bat to all the attractions. The staff is awesome and very helpful and it is very clean. There is a separate area for girls and you get a towel. I will totally come back there :)

I had a mixed review during my stay in here. First let me speak about the room quality I like the bed because it is quite firm, the lighting needs improvement (I feel it is too small though it is still acceptable. Everyone must take notice that this hostel doesn't have an elevator, so you must carry everything through stairs. Service: I noticed that you have a friendly staffs, but you also have a rude staff. I almost gave a 1 star for this because the accident happened during my check-in. I was given the Railway Twin room instead of the Double D room. Although it was the online booking agency mistake, one of the staff was very rude to me. I want the staff help calling the operator, one staff refused to do so and saying that it was my problem not them (this is the worst thing a staff would do to their customer). Luckily other staffs were really helpful, they helped me to contact to that travel agent and I speak to them after that (according to them the same problem has happened few times). The next thing is I extend the booking for a day. There was probably a miscommunication between me and the staff (my booking was made a day after what it is supposed). Surprisingly, the same rude staff CONFRONTED me just before I walked up to the stairs, saying repeatedly that I didn't book the room. Her words were rude & very aggressive. It happened just a day before my flight, so I didn't want to make anymore fuss. Besides a below-par service made the staffs just due to this particular staff, this is a great space to meet other solo travellers. I would recommend anyone who wants to make new friends. Price is competitive considering the facilities that this hostel offers. Just be careful with that particular rude staff, hopefully the management gives better training on how to handle complaints.
