Lub d Koh Tao Tanote Bay

I recently stayed at Lub d Koh Tao, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had on the island. The bungalow-style atmosphere gives a beautiful classic tropical vibe — peaceful, charming, and perfectly blended with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sea breeze right from the property made the stay feel truly special and relaxing. What made this experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding service from Olivia, one of the serving staff members. From the very first interaction, she welcomed us with a genuine smile and warm energy that instantly made us feel comfortable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and natural hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. Olivia has a graceful and classic service style — attentive without being intrusive, efficient yet calm. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and provided thoughtful menu recommendations with confidence and knowledge. Every interaction felt sincere and personal, which is rare and very much appreciated. It’s not just about good service; it’s about how someone makes you feel — and Olivia made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay. She reflects the high standards of hospitality that Lub d Koh Tao represents. If you’re looking for a beachfront bungalow-style stay with a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere and world-class service, this is the place. I will definitely return, and I truly hope to be served by Olivia again. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem with greatest service 💯🙏 🛌 The familyroom was spacious, clean and had a huge balcony. The beds were super comfy. 🗺️ Location is the best you can find in Koh Tao if you’re in to snorkeling and chilled out beach life. No smell of weed and party noises, absolutely stunning beach, corals and sea life. 🥙 Food in Lub d restaurant is good; both thai and western food was amazing. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in – I mean, how often can you order perfect eggs benedict or avocado toast in Thailand? 🙏 But the best of all was the staff. 10/10 points of all help we received. Especially Kiat is a treasure they should never let go and need to reward him of excellent customer service. I had an accident when we arrived; my leg fell through the terrace and got a bit hurt. They helped me right away but also gave us a voucher and began renovating the terrace the next day. A great example of how you can turn unfortunate situations for guest satisfaction. 🙌 Thank you Lub d staff! We had a great time and will always remember this experience 💗

Amazing stay! The staff instantly made us feel welcome — especially Mew and Olivia. They were always in a positive mood, happy to chat, and shared the best local tips with us! 🌴 The location is also great. A beautiful and secluded beach surrounded by nature, with sunshine all day and great cocktails. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the included breakfast was a lovely surprise. Overall a really good experience!

Very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, our children fall in love with Mew! Rooms are renovated (the main building), quiet and beds are very comfortable. Beach is great for snorkeling. Hotel located a bit outside - there are no shops or restaurants around, but you can always get a taxi for affordable price. Breakfast is very good, and hotel restaurant is not bad, but it is better to order Thai food there. We are definitely going to come back!

The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble for them and they're really friendly and welcoming. The location is second to none - people come around the island by boat to visit Tanote Bay, and it's right there on your doorstep... clear waters and swimming with the sealife! We felt very lucky to be right there in such a sought-after spot with part of the beach private for the hotel. When we first got there I thought it could be more luxurious for the money - e.g. maybe an onsite spa, more of a luxury feel in terms of facilities provided and extra little touches in the room like conditioner for hair - however after being there a week I realised that the value for money comes in having everything you need to a very high quality. High quality cleanliness, wifi, service from staff and location is premium.

The hotel is located on a very beautiful bay. The view and the beach are very nice. The entire complex is more suited to divers. It has its own diving school. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very limited. We stayed there for 10 days and during that time there was no salmon, even though it was on the menu. When we asked about it, we were ignored. The internet is very slow and unreliable. You definitely need a scooter, as the hotel is very isolated.

I had such a great time staying at Lubd Koh Tao! The vibe was fun, relaxed, and perfect for travelers. But what really made my trip special was the amazing service from Olivia. She’s super friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable right away — like you’re being taken care of by a friend, not just staff. She was always smiling, happy to help, and gave really helpful recommendations. You can tell she truly cares about guests having a good experience. Traveling to Koh Tao was already a dream trip, but Olivia made it even better. It’s small details like her kindness, positive energy, and attention that made my stay feel extra special. If you’re looking for a fun place to stay with great people and amazing service, I definitely recommend staying here. I’ll 100% come back again🤩.
