Lucchese Bootmaker is a high-end retailer of fine Western style boots, clothes, leather goods and accessories located on East Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards of Fort Worth. Known for their top quality boots, they also offer western apparel, dress shoes, loafers, bags, belts, wallets, leather care and everything cowboy. We went in on Sunday to purchase a pair of boots for my husband and we worked with the assistant manager - Charlotte Olhausen. Although they didn’t have the color and size combination of the boot that my husband wanted, she was very accommodating to size him by using a different colored version of the same boot, then special ordered the actual size and color he wanted. She was also gracious to have them shipped two day air to our home so we didn’t have to make another trip out there to pick them up. First class service and quality boots! If you’re looking for anything, ask for Charlotte - she has our highest recommendation!

Decided while visiting the stockyards I would invest in some Lucchese boots. Big big shout out to Jasmine at the store by Mule Alley for getting me set up with a beautiful pair of black caiman and helping me through the entire experience!!

Google
Lucchese store on Exchange is Fantastic, Great selection and plenty of staff on hand. My sales guy is Fidel very knowledgeable in boot selection and procurement when not in stock at the store. Lucchese boots are Outstanding! Worth the Price given the build quality, selection and colors available. They have convinced me that this is the go too brand for dress boots. Others make great boots also but when you compare to Lucchese you can see that they aren't quite there yet. It's in the details and exotic skin selection. The Lucchese Reputation is well deserved. You pay for an Excellent boot.

Google
I have always been a huge fan of Lucchese boots, owning eight pairs, and even naming my golden doodle after the brand. I pride myself on my appreciation for quality craftsmanship, which is why I was excited to visit this location while wearing my pair Camen boots and business attire. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by what I perceived as discriminatory behavior from some of the staff. It was disheartening to encounter such ignorance, especially at a store that represents a brand I admire so much. I believe that everyone should be treated with respect, regardless of their appearance or background. I hope my feedback will encourage improvements in customer service and inclusivity at this location. Lucchese has a rich heritage, and it’s important that all customers feel valued and welcomed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Was astounded by the collection and quality of boots Lucchese had in stock. Was able to try on quite a bit of different styles of boots and ended up getting the Randall Ostrich boots. They were running a special that if you bought boots in store, then you would get a free belt with purchase ($500 worth). They did not have the particular boots in stock, but the associate was able to order them from another store and sent to my house within days. The boots are 100% hand made in Texas and i would strongly urge you to check Lucchese out of you are in the market for new boots.

Google
Make sure to dress professionally if wanting to be acknowledged in this store. Terrible customer service coming from sales reps in specific with Brandon Quick! Me and my boyfriend were looking for some boots as a Christmas gift for himself and didn’t purchase because of the terrible customer service. As we were done trying on the boots and said no to them the sales reps left my boyfriend with his hand out trying to give him the boot back. He proceeded to give us a business card saying if we wanted to order online to go through him as it would help him out. LOL

Yelp
Followed my cousin into Lucchese one afternoon on a Saturday. The area was busy with people in general. It did not phase me in my browsing as immediately when I walked in, I was greeted and I saw a pair of denim shorts I wanted to try on. I didn't think twice before asking for a fitting room. I kind of wish I had looked at the other items cause I ended up seeing a beautiful leather suede tassel bead embroidered jacket on my way out. I had to try it on. It was so well made and fit nicely. If I had a need for a jacket I would have considered buying it just because its not easy finding unique Western-style jackets and it had quality materials and beautiful detailing. The weather was also super hot and humid when I was visiting and the jacket wouldn't have gotten the proper use it would have needed. I did buy the shorts though as I felt like they were also made of quality denim that fit well. Both items were definitely on the pricier side, but I believe you're getting top quality items. They have a member's program that I think is a credit card sign up. Only benefits those who shop here often and have store locations in their area. Note: They do not have any locations in California I hear people come here for boots. My experience here was good and I would pay a visit again next time I am ever in the Stockyards.

Yelp
We saw a man's jacket in the window of a Lucchese store in Houston, but didn't try it on as they were closed. We had to leave town early the next morning, so we thought we'd try to find this jacket online, which we couldn't. But, we learned there were some stores in the Dallas Fort Worth area, which we were headed to later in our travels. We ended up at this store while visiting the stockyards. We had taken a picture of the jacket and Taylor did her best to track it down and see if she could locate one for us. In the meantime, another very nice young man helped my husband try on jackets to determine the right size. These jackets were a little more expensive than we anticipated, but the fabric,, weight and fit was so beautiful, we decided to go for it. It Italian made. We went off and had some lunch and came back to see if Taylor had good news for us. She tracked down my husband size and the jacket in Austin. They sent her a picture so she could show us and make sure we have the same jacket. It was a match! She arranged for it to be mailed to us and we hope to have it when we get home from our travels. Everyone at the store was so nice and so customer service oriented. It was a great experience!

Yelp
Outrageously expensive boots . I'm a lucky to have once bought a pair on clearance many years ago. Service staff for the most part don't interact with customers browsing the few times we have been there.

Yelp
One of the most unwelcoming stores at the stockyards. Not once have we ever been welcomed in or acknowledged. Doesn't matter if you are decked out in $1000 lucchese boots or barefoot. Very disappointing and underwhelming for a luxury brand

Yelp
Prices are high, but so is the quality. Love the unique clothing items. And let's be honest, it just smells like fine high-quality leather when you walk in because that is what they do best.

Yelp
We live in DFW, but chose to spend a holiday weekend at the nearby Dover Hotel, and what a delightful thing to have Lucchese connected to the hotel--they have a specialty shop there, and a well-stocked standalone shop in the new little shopping strip. I bought a gorgeous pair of black and white boots, and the salesman was just perfect--not pushy, polite, conversational and made me enjoy trying on boots.

Yelp
We bought two pair of GORGEOUS boots from Lauren. One ladies. One man's. They are stunning. What an amazing, busy store with helpful professionals, ready to assist with legendary boots. Thank you Lauren.

Yelp
I called late on a Sunday to find a pair of boots that wasn't on their website. After several attempts to call local Houston location I finally spoke to someone and she took my number down, but never called back. I reached out to this location and spoke to Aaliyah A. She immediately jumped on this and after several phone calls and me asking tons of questions she got me the right size and exact boot from the factory. Lucchese is a superior boot manufacturer, but Aaliyah A. is an employee that goes above and beyond a customer's expectations. With all the boot companies we have to choose from Aaliyah A. si the reason I will continue to buy Lucchese!

Yelp
All my non-work boots are Lucchese. In my opinion they are the best so when we were walking through the Stock Yards the other day, I couldn't help myself and went in and bought pair for my son and myself. The staff were great and had a cold beer in the store. I have been wanting a pair of PIRARUCU COGNAC! (Pirarucu, a South American freshwater fish). I would highly recommend buying leather conditioner. See attached photos.

Yelp
Full-disclosure, I have a boot problem. With 20+ pairs of boots in my closet, it's a problem, but I enjoy boots. I went to Lucchese retailer in the stockyards on January 16 with no plan, however, I quickly found two pairs of boots. The staff seemed friendly and although they didn't have either boot in my size in stock, the lady assured me that she would come in on her day off, Monday, to text me pictures to be sure I liked what I saw and move forward with the transaction. One week passes, no word, no call, no text. I follow-up with a phone call, one week after my initial visit, explained my story; all I wanted to do was buy two pair of boots, which amounted to ~$1,500 at retail, and was still waiting on text, info, et al. This person, different from the first person I dealt with, apologized and assured me that she would get back with me. I am now in day 4 after my follow up call - NOT A PEEP out of the store. How hard is it to sell boots to a customer who wants boots? Poor Customer Service. Facebook: Danny Landholm (only 1 of me)

Yelp
Was in the Stockyards area and looking for boots. Was not sure if the Lucchese was going to work for me - was looking for something more basic. Long story short, worked with Lauren and she helped me find a bunch of pairs to try (I am a Mens 14) and helped a boot rookie navigate features and benefits, Ended up with a pair of Rusty dark brown hat look fantastic and feel great!

Yelp
A well known brand that still makes a very high quality product. Unfortunately some of the items offered are not made in the U.S. but appear to maintain the same quality standards. This store is run very well and every employee was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Known for their boots, they also offer specialty belts, cowboy hats, leather luggage, scarves, etc. I highly recommend this store!

Yelp
This is the worst boot manufacture I have ever encountered. Run away as fast as possible if you want custom boots made. I drove down to the Ft. Worth location from Indiana. I went through the fitting process and ordered my boots on 11/19/22. I finally received my boots on 10/23/23. The boots did not even come close to fitting me correctly. I couldn't even get my foot half way into the boots. I called and returned the boots. It took 4 months before they so called returned my boots after what they claim were sent back to the warehouse and corrected. They sent back the boots to me and the boots were not even the same style. They were totally a different style and of course they didn't fit. I ordered my boots with my initials on the loops. They took those off and sewed them on these different boots as if I was some sort of idiot. The management at the Ft. Worth facility are total idiots and were absolutely useless through this entire process. For the amount of money they charge and the length of time it takes, find another boot company. If not, you will be as disappointed as I am. What a total disappointment.

Yelp
My Fiancé and I visited the Fort Worth Lucchese location just poking around looking at some boots. Justin had offered his expertise a few moments after we walked in, and we are both glad we took him up on it. We could not believe the amount of patience he has for us, even with the ever-growing number of customers walking in and out of this location. We found exactly what we were looking for with Justin's great tips. We will wear these boots until they are gone!
