Full-disclosure, I have a boot problem. With 20+ pairs of boots in my closet, it's a problem, but I enjoy boots.
I went to Lucchese retailer in the stockyards on January 16 with no plan, however, I quickly found two pairs of boots. The staff seemed friendly and although they didn't have either boot in my size in stock, the lady assured me that she would come in on her day off, Monday, to text me pictures to be sure I liked what I saw and move forward with the transaction. One week passes, no word, no call, no text.
I follow-up with a phone call, one week after my initial visit, explained my story; all I wanted to do was buy two pair of boots, which amounted to ~$1,500 at retail, and was still waiting on text, info, et al. This person, different from the first person I dealt with, apologized and assured me that she would get back with me. I am now in day 4 after my follow up call - NOT A PEEP out of the store.
How hard is it to sell boots to a customer who wants boots?
Poor Customer Service.
