I’m from Philly. This is the closest thing to Philadelphia, New York pizza in the greater Cleveland Akron area amazing well done crispy no flop. Love it baby.

I absolutely love this place, 1st and foremost which is why I gave 5 stars. I had a taste for it the past week or so. Finally, I got one tonight, and there was the longest brown hair in the very 1st bite. Ugggh, please net it, cap it or something because I really love this place and I don't want to stop coming. There are literally several pizza shops 5min from my home and I ALWAYS choose you guys!! Please be mindful 🙏

Take out pizza ship they offer delivery which I have never used. Toppings are all fresh. I've had mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and banana peppers. I've had sausage, pepperoni, and banana peppers. The best part is the pizza versus crust. It's baked in Blodget brand ovens which are popular back east where I come from. It's light and airy and crunchy all at the same time while being delicious! Like a taste of Boston and New York. Love it.

The best part is the pizza box. It's so sturdy and strong!! Something you'd buy from the UPS shipping store - high quality. I paid $30 for the large 18" pizza (yes I tipped you guys). Unfortunately the pizza was undercooked. Please see pictures. The dough was so soggy and soft that the cheese and topping wouldn't and couldn't stay on; they slid right off. There's no such thing as eating a slice with one hand with this one. You either need two hands or a knife and fork. The fork is needed anyways because of the landslide of cheese and toppings as you pick up the slice. I've been to Lucci's before and have had great experiences. I hope this was just an isolated incident. Nonetheless, it was a poor experience. I didn't finish the pizza - instead I ordered a $15 large speciality pizza from Papa John's. It was half the price and twice as cooked. LUCCI's -- please leave your email in the review reply so that I may contact you so you have the opportunity to make this right. Lovely thin crust pizza of good quality. Delicious overall. I do wish there was more a bit more sauce and a larger amount of toppings. The cheese-filled pretzel bites are yummy!

Literally always amazing!!! We know y'all don't have pizza yet at the bar, so we stopped up the street at ye' old stomping grounds and brought it to the new bar! We can't wait for when the upstairs is finished and have the pool table! We remember your opening weekend at your Kent location, and are always dying for a slice!! We love you!

mmmmm. just popped in for a late night slice. something about their ingredient choice plus coming out of the oven for a reheat on THOSE pans gets a killer crispy bottom crust, and john is one of the nicest guys. its great theyre open late...id rather go hungry than resort to taco bell- they saved me! 73 out of 5 stars

Ordered two pizzas and some cheesy bread from Lucci's recently. We were visiting my daughter and we weren't sure what to have for dinner. I was thinking of the pizza shops in the area and it turns out, there were quite a few. So I turned to yelp to find the highest rated pizza shops in the area. Lucci's topped the list. I called and requested a large pepperoni, a large supreme, and some cheesy bread. They told me it would be 45 minutes for delivery. It only took about 25 minutes for the delivery. The pizzas looked amazing and smelled great. The crust was crispy and flavorful and the pizza was thin, like New York style. The flavors were excellent. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The sauce was excellent. I love this pizza and I wish I had it near my home. The cheesy bread was wonderful. It was covered with cheese and had a good garlic flavor. Awesome pizza! We'll order from here again.

One of our favorite place the waiters and the waitresses are excellent very polite. Very nice. We come there often and the food is always good. My family said the same thing thank you for taking care of us.

Food was so freaking good & delicious. Service was cool, i had to wait just a few minutes till the pizza got done cooking but everyone had a good persona. Just made you feel welcomed. Great ambiance, small and quaint but extremely friendly and the smell of great pizza! We ordered the 16"z

I have had some great New York style pizza from NY in the past and this ranks right near the top! I loved the thin crust not to flimsy not too well done just right to pick up a slice and not fall apart! My wife and I ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers and onions. It was fantastic. Don't have much else more to say about this pizza. If you are craving some good NY Style Pizza give this place a shot I it will not disappoint.

So we had friends visiting and we all grew up together in NY so ordering pizza here in Ohio can be a questionable decision. Don't get me wrong, local pizza is fine and ofttimes delicious but it's like another food group compared to the pies we grew up on. Nonetheless, pizza was what we wanted and we decided to take a chance and try a new place, Lucci's. SCORE! This is the closest to NY Pizza we have found. First the fold, present and accounted for. Second the flop, you know you have to keep the tip from hitting the floor, check! Third, the right spice combo and cheese, yup! Just needed the drip running down my arm to transport me home. Well done!

I give the pizza 5/10. Margarita is my favorite and fresh basil and Roma tomatoes make the pizza. When you cook the basil the entire duration, you lose that amazing flavor. If there is too much grease on a pizza, it can be overpowering and drown out the wonderful flavors (garlic, tomatoes, etc). If looking for pizza that you fold to eat, this is it! I've had NY pizza (Manhattan and LI) and it is reminiscent of NY pizza. My family had the cheesy bread and pepperoni pizza and had no complaints. Super friendly staff, huge portions. I love supporting family businesses so was happy to support them. It just wasn't my favorite.

I know we don't generally talk about anything but the pizza (which I still say is hands down the best in Portage County and of all the counties we've tried on the best pizza in the county list) but let me say that the Stromboli and the cheesy bread are amazing. So good. Great prices. Fun little place in the great town of Kent, OH. Service is also spectacular.

So hear me out, pizza is my comfort food. Because I love pizza and I've had a plethora of pizzas, I really can't compare pizza from New York, Chicago, and hole in the wall joints from all over. If I do compare then it's a 6.3/10 (hence the three stars). However if I compare this pizza place to other pizza locations around Ohio, then it's a 10/10!! I personally like to get a simple Cheese Pizza when trying new places. I wish the crust was slightly more cooked, but it was enough to have a crunch when biting into it. The pizza is hand tossed. The cheese/sauce ratio is on point. I had it the next morning and it tasted the exact same so it's very good leftover food (not many places can say the same). If you do get pizza from here I recommend getting it slightly more cooked (well done) if you like a nice firm slice. One last thing, it is fairly cheap for what you are getting. I got a 18 inch for 14 bucks which is a steal. Many other places charge around 20.

Luccis has great pizza at a price not too different that the chain places, but significantly better. We love the crust.

Similar to Lucas in Stow. Best NY style pizza in the area, at least until you get closer to cleveland spots like Il Reone. Sizes are deceptively big. Worth ordering "well done"

Lucci is a little cheaper than Gucci, but then Gucci doesn't sell pizza, so it's a weird comparison. Lucci has good slices of pizza. It's not Buffalo, NYC or Chicago good, but it's tasty and it'll do the trick when in Kent. I can't quite give them 5 stars because I have very high pizza standards, but it's good cheap pizza with wonderful service, and I'd definitely come back here for slices when in town.

A friend brought a pie earlier in the week and it was soo delicious. I called to order one before leaving town and had a hard time seeing the options on the website from my phone.When i called to place an order the person who answered the phone acted soo put out I couldn't find it in myself to trust the pizza afterwards. IIt was a total bummer. Possibly the worst experience ive ever had trying to place an order. Pizza snobbery, passive aggressive, super lame.

Love their pizza. The best in Kent by far. Owner said they are moving into a bigger location and will have beer! Can't wait.

Lucci's has been a family favorite for about a year now! This pizza is addicting and delicious NY style. HUGE slices, yet that perfectly thin style with a perfectly cooked crust! You can taste the genuine ingredients with every pizza you order. Not to mention, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming every time! Such a small little gem in Kent, Ohio.

I've had this pizza 20 times now and it was always delicious thin crust new York style pizza. Ordered today and the pizza was barely cooked. Prob only in oven half the time it needed to be. Only takes one bad pie to loose my business for life, to many other pizza joints out there.

The pizza was great until I found I fingernail in my mouth. This happened on 11/14 around 6:30 pickup. So whoever was working I'm sure you think you're very clever. I will be telling everyone in Kent to avoid this disgusting place.

We tried Lucci's for the first time tonight, and I am now a fan. If you live here, you know we're pizza challenged. There are a few places around (Faranaci's, Geraci's, the original Master Pizza, and a few others) that make really good old school pizza. Sure, we have plenty of places that have opened in the last 15 years or so doing the wood fired artisanal thing (yawn). Add Lucci's to your list of places to get really good thin crust pizza. It's take out only at the Kent location, so be ready to eat it in your car, tailgate, or head to a park. Or drop by your friend's house who still lives in Kent. You know you have at least one of those. Enjoy.

One of the best pizza joints in northeast ohio. I eat pizza almost every other day and look forward to meeting my friends in kent to have luccis. Can never go wrong with their plain cheese or pepperoni. Classic new york style that is to die for. I would recommend this place to anyone. And they sell pizza by the slice! So awesome

Their New York style pizza is delicious. The crust has that fire oven flavor that my husband loves.the kids and I loved it, too. We got olive, pineapple, pepperoni, and sausage pizzas, and they were all good, especially the sausage. The man taking orders and making the pizzas was extremely nice. We'll definitely be returning.

House Stromboli is amazing. From one foodie to another it was nice to talk to them about sauce and dough making. They were very open and offered a lot of good tips and info. Good people, good food.

Aside from authentic New York style pie, these are the NICEST dudes in town. With soany garbage chains around it is imperative to support the little guy. The Finley boys are Kent born and bred, are actually Italian, charge a fair price, will talk sports with all who enter, and just make great pizza.

There are a lot of pizza places in Kent, but this one is hands down the best. You've gotta take the pizza to go. It's NYC style, and their homemade sauce is perfectly savory.

Hands down best thin crust pizza in Kent or Akron area. Plus it's super cheap. I normally get a large cheese or a white with spinach as a topping. The pepperoni rolls are also amazing. You won't regret it. I get it at least once a week.

Had a large pizza tonight. As someone who is very familiar with true NY pizza through NY family, I will say - this is authentic. It's is awesome to have a place here in NE Ohio that has delicious real NY style 'za.

Sometimes I've encountered issues with the large pizza (sogginess, mostly), but overall, we're huge fans of Lucci's. Their pepperoni and Italian sausage are some of the best I've had, and others have already raved about the quality of the crust and fresh mozzarella cheese. I highly recommend Lucci's for anyone looking for a good, homemade thin crust pizza in the Kent area.

Every time I order Lucci's it is great. Love their pizza, and enjoy that we can get half one way and half for someone else. The salva are amazing. Fresh ingredients, delicious pizza, it's a favorite.

I've been on a quest for "New York style" pizza, in this area for many years. Well, this is it folks! The crust, the cheese, and sauce all done right. And the crispy old world pepperoni is fantastic. No mass produced corporate chain plastic pizza here. This is the real deal.

Nice big New York slide type beat pizza. However very greasy and kinda soft. It's alright. Normal pizza isn't too bad but one time my friend accidentally ordered a white pizza and it just tasted like bread.

I'm from Kent, and have been to NYC several times. Lucci's offers some true NY style pizza. Lucci's offers the best pizza in Kent, and some of the best I've ever had. Each component of the pizza comes together to create perfection- the crispy/doughy/foldable crust, the perfect amount of cheese, and a light tomato sauce with true tomato taste. The prices are also very fair. We had a large 18" plain cheese pizza (always my favorite), and a 14" pizza with artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, spinach, and fresh mozzarella made IN HOUSE (you can watch them make it if you stop in). I also heard their menu may be expanding soon. Bottom line- you won't be disappointed if you try Lucci's!

Never tried this pizza place. It came recommended so I ordered a large pizza. Very disappointing. Although the crust was just okay everything on top of crust was very skimpy. Will not go back.

Yes please!!!! I got the house stromboli with black olives added, my man got the medium pizza with homemade meatballs and homemade mozzarella. The stromboli has so much filling and is so flavorful that I'm definitely coming back for another one and the pizza is phenomenal with the crust super crispy! Yes the sauce is a bit light for his taste, but I did forget to ask for extra, so that's my fault, but the marinara that came with my stromboli makes up for it. I will recommend Luccis Place to anyone who will listen! Keep up the good work Pete!

Excellent Neapolitan style pizza. No greasy crust here! More like a nice crusty bread. Lots of cheese, plenty of toppings. Try one of their specialty pizzas, you won't be disappointed! Very friendly staff.

Easily the best pizza in kent. You can taste the quality of the dough/crust. Whatever cheese blend they're using leaves me craving for more, and I love the more savory sauce. If you're in Kent, please support this fantastic business. The employees and owners are extremely kind people.
