First time here after hearing so much positive reviews about this place. Definitely a place to visit and enjoy some delicious pasta. Pasta was nearly al dente and not those soggy like you can from other places. The gnocchi pesto was legendary in our opinion although was a little salty. The prosciutto & buffalo mozzarella was served at a room temperature which was a little disappointing.

We have been making our way through all venues at the Adelaide market and we're really excited to try Lucias for our Friday family dinner after walking past on numerous occasions and seeing a line for tables! We ordered garlic bread, carbonara, chicken parmigiana and tiramisu. Overall the food was lovely, the standout was definitely the carbonara - pasta cooked to perfection and a delicious sauce! My daughter enjoyed the side of chips with the parmigiana and we were grateful that the chicken was nice and thin (traditional style). Unfortunately the garlic bread was very disappointing - this is not something we have often so if very much a treat we were looking forward too but they arrived burnt - we questioned them as they did not look anything like the photo on the Instagram page and they said sometimes they just come like that...they refused to replace them, we requested they bring a slice out at least for our daughter and the server brought one out uncooked? We asked for it to be slightly toasted but she made us feel like what we were asking was impossible...it honestly made the overall experience negative. The tiramisu was fine - not a standout, bit to heavy on the cream in the mascapone mix so didn't have that authentic flavour but a good sized serve to share.

What a surprise that spaghetti carbonara is listed as a breakfast option here. Without thinking too long, I directly ordered it as it is my favorite pasta. Of course with a long black to begin with. The taste is beyond my expectation as it was very delightful, oh yes and it was so filling. It opens early in the morning, and such a good option for starting the day.

Iconic market eatery with a nostalgic vibe. Had to wait a while for dinner on a Friday but it was worth it. The pasta was affordable at $20 for a big bowl of ragu with thick pappardelle noodles. It’s a simple meal but was warm and comforting on a cold night.

The pasta was freakin fire 🔥 Got the vongole pasta, but since clams aren’t in season, it was subbed with mussels. The mussels were perfectly cooked, and noodles al dente. The tomato based sauce had a slight briny flavour from the mussels, and the portion was very reasonably priced at $28. I recommend sitting outside if you like people watching!

Cute, fast Italian eatery. Lots of pasta, sandwiches, panini, salad and bakery items. The sandwich was very small for the price, lacks fillings in the vegetable sandwich. Better option is to build you own panini. Great for all ages. Plenty of seats but very busy but service is fast so the wait is not super long. Since it is in the central market it us very lound and busy foot traffic and maybe not idea for someone who is distracted by sounds. Offer take away as well.

Great coffee and Neapolitan Rice Cake. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As I can’t remember the name of the cake I ordered, she takes the trouble to help me to find out (including the ingredients). Much appreciated 😊👍🏻

Food to die for. Love the bruschetta with tomatoes! (Actually, everything in this photo)

Yelp
I really wondered if past reviewers and eaters were wearing swimming googles, because this was absolutely the most revolting breakfast I had in a very long time. A piece of toast, daubed with actually quite good scrambled egg, accompanied by a slab of fish and what was definitely not avocado, but an acorn waiting to grow into an oak tree. And I waited a long time to get this overpriced disappointment! It was pure inedibility! The accompanying coffee was bile and that is being nice to liquid acid. I'd rather have stayed at home with my Nespresso machine and made my own acorn sandwich. The location is amazing and I really wanted to review this with all smiles, but I can't. May be Lucia should stick to pizza and pasta instead of Bunnings fertiliser.

Yelp
Great location within the Adelaide Central market. Amazing paninis. Panini special #1 was always my go to. Prosciutto, mozzarella, basil, tomato and olive oil. Service is always great and quick at the panini station. They also have a restaurant next door serving amazing brunch, pasta and other Italian cafe favorites.
