Lucias has nailed this one. Food is just amazing, and the atmosphere is the best. We went for the cabonara and bruschetta, well they did not disappoint. Whether it's a nice glass or red or a strong coffee you're after, Lucias will serve it up. Being directly inside the Adelaide markets, the vibe is great! Tables go fast, but be patient. It's worth the wait. No bookings were taken, unfortunately. Enjoy this one!

Had been itching to try this place for a couple of months. The garlic bread was decent, especially the bread itself with a great texture...ever so slightly burnt on the edges but not enough to ruin it. Gnocchi carbonara impressed me in that it wasn't oily like some others I've had. The let down was that the gnocchi was a long way from being melt-in-the-mouth, plus the carbonara sauce was more like a soup/broth than any carbonara I've ever had - maybe it's traditional, honestly not sure. Overall, the experience was good enough that I will return and try some different options on the menu, in time.

Authentic settings if you can ignore that it's actually in a market. Visualise the cafe along any street of Italy and Bingo! I had spaghetti carbonara for breakkie (could be more creamy) and the price is reasonable. Even the simple omelette is so good. Lol.

We arrived on a busy Friday morning without a reservation but were lucky enough to get a table. Our coffee and food was served to us in record time, and oh so hot. The food was amazing, pretty good coffee and all the staff were charming and friendly. We have found a new favourite cafe! The prices are on the higher end, but when you get what you pay for, it’s a bargain!

Although they are busy, they staff will always help you get a table. Very friendly service and you never wait long for your food, even when busy. My omelette was really tasty, though I would ask for less cracked pepper on top. Coffee was also really good

I emailed Lucia's to order some food for our baby shower. Lisa responded to me with so much excitement for us! We popped into Lucia's today and were able to meet with Lisa, she was so accommodating and so lovely to talk to. We also had breakfast there and the food was great! Would absolutely recommend Lucia's. Their staff and atmosphere is second to none 😊

I’ve always been eager to try this place — it’s constantly buzzing, and the aroma of the food is just incredible. So this morning, my partner and I finally decided to check out Lucia’s for breakfast. As expected, it was packed, and the dishes coming out looked fantastic. We ordered Anna’s bagel and a calzone. It took about 25 minutes to arrive, which was understandable given how busy they were. But unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The calzone was overwhelmingly tangy, and the bagel was quite literally burnt — I’ve attached a photo for reference. It was honestly disappointing, especially because I had high hopes for this place. I would’ve mentioned it to the staff, but they were clearly swamped, and we had to head out right after breakfast. I’m still open to giving Lucia’s another try someday — maybe it was just an off day. But based on today’s experience, it really didn’t meet expectations.

I have to say I was disappointed with my breakfast which was literally a piece of toast, daubed with what was actually quite good scrambled egg, accompanied by a slice of smoked salmon and what was definitely a completely raw avocado. Yes it was busy, and I'm prepared to turn a blind eye on that note. As I said, the scrambled egg was good. The location is amazing and I really wanted to review this with all smiles, having read so many good comments. But I couldn't. Particularly when you are are in a market selling 'fresh' produce. However, in fairness to Lucia, I am prepared to come back for the pizza and pasta on my next visit. I feel everyone should be accorded a mulligan and I do love Italian food.

Yelp
I really wondered if past reviewers and eaters were wearing swimming googles, because this was absolutely the most revolting breakfast I had in a very long time. A piece of toast, daubed with actually quite good scrambled egg, accompanied by a slab of fish and what was definitely not avocado, but an acorn waiting to grow into an oak tree. And I waited a long time to get this overpriced disappointment! It was pure inedibility! The accompanying coffee was bile and that is being nice to liquid acid. I'd rather have stayed at home with my Nespresso machine and made my own acorn sandwich. The location is amazing and I really wanted to review this with all smiles, but I can't. May be Lucia should stick to pizza and pasta instead of Bunnings fertiliser.

Yelp
Great location within the Adelaide Central market. Amazing paninis. Panini special #1 was always my go to. Prosciutto, mozzarella, basil, tomato and olive oil. Service is always great and quick at the panini station. They also have a restaurant next door serving amazing brunch, pasta and other Italian cafe favorites.
