Working with the folks at Lucky Duck was seamless from start to finish. I stopped by the store and spoke with someone who was very nice and helpful, then emailed back and forth with the owner about my vision and budget. They were incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. On the day of the event, they arrived right on time and were super friendly and kind. They even threw in a special balloon that was originally out of my budget -- such a small but meaningful gesture that truly blew me away. The balloons completely made the party and elevated the entire look. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

I am referring a friend to this store because we were thrilled with our balloon arch! Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same if not for the beautiful corner Lucky Duck designed for our guests to have as a backdrop in the pictures. Highly recommend!!

Two thumbs up for the Lucky Duck, a recently opened quaint balloon shop across from well-known Bob’s market in Santa Monica on 17th and Ocean Park Blvd. The shop has everything needed for great parties, especially their creative balloon sculptures. The colorful one we got for my granddaughters 3 year birthday party was a big hit with kids running through our arched balloon sculpture. I highly recommend this unique store all your party needs

I really wanted to write a great review but unfortunately my balloon popped within the first hour of getting them. It was such an inconvenience for me that I had to go to another party store after spending $55. The balloon was definitely overinflated.

SUPPORT SMALL WOMAN OF COLOR OWNED BUSINESSES! Passed by this cute party & gift shop in my neighborhood. Bought a few cards. Talked to the owner for a bit. They do eco-friendly party supplies & balloons (no Mylar or helium except by special request)-- looking at their portfolio, they have an amazing eye for design! Very chic, elegant & fun. They can also help you create custom party/event favors, which I will be doing next month so I'll update my review

This is a woman owned small party store business in the neighborhood. It is on a side street and hard to notice but exactly across from Bob's market on 17th. They were easy to work with; the owner and a staff came out to my house to help look at the space for the items I wanted ti rent. The owner provided great insight. She also has a restaurant in the neighborhood. Most importantly, her prices are equal to or less than big rental stores. The quality of items was great and in some cases better than rentals I've used before. She was flexible with delivery, came out and did exactly plus more than we initially spoke about. I highly recommend this space for rental For parties. They did a fantastic job with my balloon bouquets and balloon arch. And the popcorn machine was a great hit for my Western backyard barbecue birthday celebration.

If you need party supplies or balloons, this is the spot! I last minute had inspiration to get balloons for a friend's birthday, and called to ask if a same-day order would be possible. They were able to make a beautiful balloon arrangement and helped me with colors. I will definitely be back!

If you have something to celebrate, head straight to Lucky Duck. Not only is it a female-owned and operated local business, it's crazy eco conscious too! I hadn't had balloons at a party in years because of the environmental impact but Lucky Duck uses natural latex balloons, meaning they're biodegradable. WHAT?!? Biodegradable? YES! I know, I too was blown away. The ladies at LD were so knowledgeable about every product in the shop and its sustainability. Speaking of other products, this is your one stop party shop in SM! Eco friendly party decor, plates, napkins, covering every occasion from birthdays and baby showers, to seasonal holidays and festive gatherings. The best part is how cute and chic everything is. Not all bland and neutral here. They have curated some major finds, plus if you need a gift for that party, LD has you covered. Seriously love this shop and the ladies behind it so much. The artistry that Nataza and Cindy bring to every balloon arrangement, no matter how big or small, is astounding. I've worked with them on both professional and personal jobs and I can attest that their level of professionalism, knowledge, and creativity is not to be matched. They care deeply about their city and their customers. Check them out and spread the word!!

Cindy made some beautiful balloon bouquets for my birthday which was affordable and really made the decor and party! I love her friendliness, responsiveness and ability to customize to meet my needs. Also color selection of balloons is amazing!

Such a find! It was my daughter's birthday and we needed balloons for her party. Megan helped us out and we couldn't be happier. She even asked my daughter if she'd like to help with workshops! She was so sweet and creative!!! Plus, we got to shop locally. We will definitely be back!!!

Stopped by Lucky Duck for the first time walking around the neighborhood. Perfect timing as I was looking for birthday cards. They have such a charming and unique collection. While there, I also picked up some adorable cake toppers. I love to see a female-owned local business and can't wait to do a balloon arch for a future birthday. Store was clean and tidy and just loved the energy of the store! Definitely worth stopping by if you have something to celebrate coming up.

This is a darling new store in Santa Monica. They have a variety of fun party supplies and their balloon work is amazing. Loved all the little yellow ducks around. They have a monitor that cycles thru fun balloon arches and designs they create. I needed balloons for a coworkers birthday and Cindy was extra helpful and friendly. Love these guys! Had 2 last minute needs for The Pump Station & Nurtury and Natasza and her team made magic happen! Orders were turned around in 24 hours and delivered as I ended up short staffed and couldn't pick up! Will be using them for all of my event planning in the future!!! Love that they are eco-conscious too!

Sooo in LOVE!! I was brainstorming about decoration for a birthday party at home, a small backyard so I reached out to Cindy for something nice and cute and OMG she was sooo helpful! So knowledgeable! She knows ALL there is to know about balloons! My niece was so happy with the results! Plus all the products are biodegradable! I got balloons for my moms birthday and they were gorgeous. The set up was perfect and everyone that I communicated with were so kind. The balloons also lasted so long! I will definitely be ordering from them again. Overall a great experience and loved the results.
