No personal experience here except 29 years ago when I lived downtown, ah, great memories of The Balmoral, etc. I now work downtown in the construction industry. I do have a very good friend down here that has supported me through some very devastating emotional experiences but...I have a question....does Anna also own or manage another property on DTES on Hastings between Main & Columbia? The description sounds very familiar to what I have heard about another woman with same name, a little bit crazy, etc. Though the name is common the description provided sounds familiar. Just wondering. Thanks.

Tried to stay but the landlady was paranoid and thought I was someone she knew. She did return my money though so only lost time

It's full of mice, cockroaches, and bed bugs. Anna is very moody and treats her tenants like second rate citizens.

I like this place. Cozy little rooms. Plus it is nice being so close to downtown. The area is unique but cultural.
