Google
food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 Don’t Skip On: The Real Dill (shout out to my pickle fanssss) Lucky Slice is one of my favorite pizza places in Utah!! Although I’m sad that it’s not closer to Salt Lake, I always look forward to visiting when I’m in the Clearfield or Ogden area. Maybe one day they will come to Salt Lake 😀 They have both purchase by the slice and whole pies to order, which fits everyone’s needs! They also have a good variety of beer, salads, wings, and apps. Their staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I learned today that there is now an app all thanks to Gladius, who was our cashier today. Now I can start earning points each time I go. We got stuck with a lot of orders being made while the Farmer’s Market was happening today, but most other times haven’t been an issue. If you want a whole pie, be prepared to call in the order so you don’t have to wait as long. Highly recommended for your pizza fix!

Google
Order mozzarella balls and they were overcooked no cheese left in the battered shell they used to reside in. They refused to remake them and charged my boyfriend $16 for new ones for me. Them my new ones came cold in middle. $32 for inedible food

Google
I can't remember the names of the slices I got but the red one had a deep and rich tomato flavor, they both had just the right amount of bread to sauce. And the green one was fantastic, I think it had garlic and chives sauce, with tomato and some other cheezes toppings. It had the perfect amount of crunch while not being dry at all. My breadstick was also pretty good. I really liked the marinara sauce. I'm not sure how to describe it but it was fantastic.

Google
The pizza is classic new york style- big, crispy crust. Very good-hard to find. We tried the isla nublar and the carnivore. The nublar had a little spice to it that was too much for the girlfriend, but just right for me. Definitely a tasty, different topping mix. Tasted great, great value. Little difficult getting the workers attention, but they were very busy...

Google
Look, it wasn't until after I ate most of pizza that I realised I should given them a review so don't give me grief about it. Great location, staff great. Pizza super tasty and great value per slice if you want a variety. Bread sticks great. Only bad thing is that the toilets are locked and so you have to get the key at the register. Unfortunately it is attached to a huge spatula so people know exactly what you are going to do! Defo come back again. Very cool

B E.

Google
This place came highly recommended. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the expectations. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza with a gluten free crust. This review isn’t as much about the price but it’s hard not to mention it. The gluten free option adds $6.00 and a 14 inch pie was $24.00. Inappropriate price. The main criticism is the skimpy amount of chicken. You were lucky to get two 1/4 inch squares per slice, and they were obviously a pre-packaged product. I spoke with the manager questioning if this was how the portioning was intended, and if so the same on their regular pies. He stated yes. Won’t return here.

Google
Always excellent. Many vegetarian, vegan, and diabetes friendly options. Loads of choices for the carnivores too! The March special is the Shamrock, which has artichoke spinach, feta, and mozzarella. I quite enjoyed it. Love the thin crust, not greasy. Always excellent service at this location. There's a two slice meal deal or one slice and small salad, with drink. Several non-carbonated choices available, in addition to the regular soda fountain. They display local artists paintings, and has a cute trendy vibe.

Google
usually a decent place to eat, but i learned last night that you NEVER order a slice of the sicilian pizza. they will not tell you that it will take almost 30 minutes to be brought out to you, and all your friends will have finished their slices about 10 minutes before you even get yours. would’ve just gotten a regular pepperoni if we had known there was a long wait.
google avatar

Yelp
SO GOOD!!! The pizzas here are perfection. Not too bready at all! Some pizzas are majority bread and crust.. these ones are made to perfection with mainly the ingredients as the star of the show. Which is how pizza should be! The Marghie and Chicken Alfredo are our personal faves. So good we had it delivered 3 times in 3 days during our visit to the city. We have problems. But I'll take this problem any day of the week!
google avatar

Maria F.

Yelp
Huge pies and they definitely pass the flop test. Might have to wait for takeout but worth it! Thought the pepperoni was much better than the margherita (which is surprising since it's usually the opposite). The cheese is a safe option. Love the free stickers!
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
Do not order for pickup... stood for an hour+ over the pickup time waiting to get our pizzas. Staff didn't care at all, and even seemed annoyed that we weren't happy about it. Love the pizza, but won't be coming back for a while after this.
google avatar

Renato M.

Yelp
Just under 6$ for a slice of pizza. Definitely not worth it. I got 2 slices and a drink. The guy didn't even charge me the combo price, Slices were cold and probably sitting there all day. 16$ total come on with pizza being one of the most least expensive things to make and a 15 to 20 percent profit margin. Not sure what the hype is about this place but Iim not buying it. Won't be coming here again for pizza anytime soon. I'm sure there's other better pizza places to eat.
google avatar

London B.

Yelp
Favorite Pokémon Community Day lunch spot. Excellent pizza. Great service. Clean dining area. Outdoor patio dining. Handicap accessible. Vegan & vegetarian options. Perfect.
google avatar

Jeremy B.

Yelp
The staff is friendly and chill. I ordered Combo #1 Carnivore Slice, breadstick, large marinara and ranch dipping sauces. It took a while to get my food. Bu once I did I was very pleased. So very scrumptious. You could even venture to say it was scrum-diddly-umptious! The last time I went here was a few years at their older, cramped Ogden location. They definitely upgraded. They have a TMNT arcade machine!
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
My favorite pizza spot around. It's great for lunch because you can grab a slice or two with a drink. It's also great for the family because you can buy a whole pie too. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. And I love the atmosphere. I've been to the Ogden location and the Logan location and they're both great.
google avatar

Kathee C.

Yelp
We love Lucky Slice! This location is awesome, I love all the brick and decor. It's a great place to grab a bite to eat before an Ogden Twilight concert or during the farmers market, or just any time! I'm a huge fan of their plain ol cheese pizza but I love to try the fun and creative combinations they come up with for their monthly and seasonal pies too.
google avatar

Alfie S.

Yelp
Let's start here, the pizza is great! Love buying slices and tasting different things, and love the open and inviting space obviously decorated with skill and care! But we almost didn't get to taste anything because had we not been tired from the road and ready to sleep we would have walked out of this place because of one disrespectful person. What i don't like is snotty service, walking up to the counter i addressed the gentleman more than once to get him to even look at me, ordered 4 slices then asked what do you have for beer? "Tony" said: no clue because i am not into beer", i said excuse me don't you work here? All i got was a blank stare. Again, the pizza was great, but even if we lived here we wouldn't be back based on being treated like trash. Service is not that hard, to make it this bad you really have to try, remember that.

James P.

Yelp
Fast, friendly, clean, and delicious! OK, so hear me out. You take, arguably the best tikka marsala in Ogden, Utah from Kesari and arguably the best pizza from Lucky Slice and dip the pizza in the marsala. I know there is another pizza restaurant selling a "marsala" pizza. But it does not compare.
google avatar

Nathanael M.

Yelp
The once amazing Lucky Slice has fallen on complacency times. It's been a bit of a downhill slide ever since they moved from their original, quirky location to the corporate instagrammy place across the street. One XL pizza will set you back more than 30 bucks. Even the not so large larges can set you back 25 or more. The thin crust is often underdone. The seasonal pie flavors often read more like a dare, how weird can we get?, than anything thoughtfully composed. Skip it folks. They've lost their way. There's better, less expensive pizza in town.
google avatar

Kaleb H.

Yelp
Overpriced, not really worth the hype. Great if you have a few drinks in you after the bar though
google avatar

Malika W.

Yelp
The pizza and jalapeño cheese bread are so good!!! The pepperoni pizza was huge!!! It was really good. The jalapeño cheese bread with ranch is my favorite. We came during a busy night so it took a little while to get our food. Our server forgot our marinara we paid extra for. The person at the register was apologetic when I asked for the marinara. The customer service was good. I would come back and order the exact same things.
google avatar

Marlee B.

Yelp
Favorite pizza place when visiting Ogden. Service is friendly and the pizza crust is thin and crispy. Always do takeout but the 25th St location would be good for casual dine-in.
google avatar

Travis B.

Yelp
Look, this place is solid. Great place to catch a slice (or two) or get a whole pie. They offer takeout, dine-in, and even delivery on whole pies. This new location is fantastic. SO much room and a great vibe when you go through the doors. The daily offerings are on display and a quick trip to the oven gets you a thin crust slice of heaven. Their regular, boring offerings are great (my kid only likes cheese pizza. Booo) and their specialties are fantastic. I tried the French Onion slice this past visit and man, was it good. Breadsticks are good, very fresh and tasty. The Mozza Balls are like crack, you are going to get addicted. Soda is soda, and they have that. They also offer a decent selection of beer for those caring to partake. There's nothing else like this in Ogden. There is great pizza in Ogden but not by the slice except for here at Lucky Slice.

Yelp
Been craving pizza for quite a bit so I stopped by for a slice. 5/5 Crab Rangoon Pizza: A top 3 best pizza I've had, and I am a pizza fanatic. Sweet from the cream cheese and sweet chili sauce. Crunchy from the crust and fried wontons. Perfect amount of green onions. 100/5 Crust: Oh my lord they have their crust down to a perfection. Thinner crust with an amazing crunch each bite followed by a delicious chew Service 5/5: Asked to change pizzas and they just gave both for free. They also give discount for military:) Atmosphere 5/5: Fun, chill vibe
google avatar

Caitlin N.

Yelp
Stopped by for a late-night bite and it was pretty quiet inside. We ordered a slice each, cheese for me and Margie (Margherita) for him. The pizza must have been reheated for us before they were dropped off at our table because the first bite was crispy and warm. I am a fan of thin-crust pizza, so this was a treat. I docked one star because I couldn't believe how much each slice cost! My cheese slice was just over $2 and his Margie slice was just over $5. Should have purchased an entire pizza at that point. Regardless, we'll be back again.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
We easily found parking and the wait wasn't too bad for dinner rush in a Wednesday. The employees I interacted with were quite personable. I got The Marghie based on how yummy it looked in the display case and it turned out to be a great decision. The gluten free crust was fine- thin and crispy like your average gf crust. The toppings were so good though! The sauce tasted like fresh puréed tomato, the cheeses were flavorful, and I loved the balsamic and the basil! So tasty! Glad we ended up here for dinner!
google avatar

Tyana R.

Yelp
My wife met up with friends here and brought a pepperoni pie home. The crust is delicious, chewy with nice taste from the oven. Overall the pizza was good but nothing really stood out other than the crust being good. Maybe I need to try one of the specialty pies if I find myself in the area.

M G.

Yelp
Oh Lucky Slice. The food is great, truly. But the wait time on the to go food is shockingly bad. It took over an hour to get my to go order and the woman in front of me waited over an hour to get ONE cheese pizza. After paying 100$ including a tip, I'm putting ya'll in time out for a while. I deserve better. Please, get it together. Best of luck to you all.

Aaron E.

Yelp
What is this? Why is this 18.49 before tax tip and delivery? This was directly ordered from them through their website, it's not a 3rd party delivery issue. Edit: it gets worse. I grabbed a slice and looked at the bottom and it was raw/ what an absolute joke.
google avatar

Marisa S.

Yelp
I so enjoyed the peach cream soda bottle, the pear walnut salad and the cheese bread. Love being able to sit outdoors and catch a view (Kokomo), bring your dog and enjoy 25th street. Service was quick and efficient. Pizza was good too.

Cami F.

Yelp
I love this place, I come here all the time. I also always order the same thing. They got our order wrong and I let them know and I was told it would be right out and corrected. 15 minutes later they completely forgot about us and kept trying to dodge us. They would walk right past and make eye contact instead of fixing the problem. They definitely need some better service. They were busy, but not busy enough to forget about us. We were only missing one slice of pizza. It shouldn't have been that hard to correct. Never even got the second slice of pizza!
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Once again I am waiting for them to finish my takeout order. When I ordered on line I was told 25 minutes to pick up. Knowing they are busy on Friday nights I arrived 10 minutes late and was told 10-15 minutes. Now, 45 minutes later and still no order. When you drop $50-75 for pizza take out it should not take 75-90 minutes to get the order. If it weren't for the damn delicious pizza....

Annalise B.

Yelp
Lucky Slice is by far my favorite pizza in Ogden. I go at least once a week, and when they had Crab Rangoon pizza for a month, I was there 3+ times a week. I love a lot of their food... from the pizza to the wings to the zeppoles, and the pizza flavors are always fun and delicious. My favorites are the Marghie, the Shirra, and Sunday Gravy. My only criticism is that consistency is not the best, specifically with their breadsticks... sometimes the breadsticks are more/less toasted, have more/less herbs, and come in varying sizes every time I visit. It's also kinda a crapshoot on which breadstick you'll get as there seem to be two very different breadsticks in the display case, but the employees will seemingly randomly pick which one they'll deliver to you. I'm just nitpicking since I get the breadsticks so frequently. They're usually still delicious, no matter which version I get!

Yelp
Do not order through Yelp- more expensive and limited choices. I did that mistake and I had to order another pizza Do not order through Yelp- more expensive and limited choices. I did that mistake and I had to order a bigger pizza because Grubhub only offered Large Pizzas for more money. The pizza is thin and tastes great. The parking can be an issue for pickup.
google avatar

Yelp
First time at Lucky Slice. We went here on a Saturday night around 6:00, and there were only 4-5 other people in the entire restaurant. The pizza by the slice is a good idea, however I was a bit skeptical of how fresh the pizza could be if it were sitting out under a heat lamp. I'm not sure what they did, but when they brought our pizza slices they tasted fresh, and the crust was very crispy. We liked the carnivore, the pepperoni and the mushroom one. We also liked the breadsticks and marinara dipping sauce. We paid about $6/ea for a large piece of pizza and breadstick with dipping sauce. We were impressed and will be back!

Marcos M.

Yelp
Great service! Great vibes! The pizza is delicious and always my go to when I need something quick! Their honey glaze Sriracha is delicious! Spicy to make you think twice but if you have ranch on the side, brings a great combo together!
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
I love this place. Favorite for apres ski, hike, etc! Always an awesome monthly special, and the Marghie is always fantastic!
google avatar

Devan F.

Yelp
So good every time! The pizza is always so fun and creative and tastes delicious! The staff are always kind and helpful, and pretty quick! Their rewards program is also super great and you are able to earn rewards pretty quickly, so it's definitely worth it.
google avatar

Vanny S.

Yelp
Food is great! Service was not so great. I think they lost my order. I waited and waited and saw people that can in after me get their food, eat it, and leave. Maybe that was an off night for the staff. Next time I'll take my pizza to go. I recommend you try it, if you're in the area and maybe do take out instead of dine it.

Gabe H.

Yelp
Love the pizza but the service needs to improve. I ordered 2 slices to go and watched 4-5 different orders AFTER mine come out. I've waited 30-45 minutes the last 2 times I've come here. They forget my order and ask what the name was at least 3 times
google avatar

Bethany M.

Yelp
Fave pizza place. The Margie is my fave all the pizzas are super good but something about the Margie gets a me every time

Eloise B.

Yelp
Lucky Slice is great they have great pizza there they have so much to choose from. And what I love it that they have a monthly pizza and that is great so you have something new to try I definitely recommend it. Thank you Lucky Slice!
google avatar

Jenee' J.

Yelp
This pizza was delicious. It reminds us of New York Pizza (we just moved from CT). They fill the pizza with toppings and they are so good. We got the carnivore pizza XXL (leftovers) as well as the zucchini fritters (ended up giving us the mixture fritters instead), mozzarella balls and a side salad. Can't forget the cauli bites with Cajun dry rub. The dry rub was such a good idea and made them so crispy and flavorful. Ill def be getting a large one next time we go. Everything was great! Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Erica H.

Yelp
Great fast pizza! Was nice and thin slices which I loved and the topping to sauce and cheese ratio was perfect! Reminded me of my trip to New York
google avatar

Cassandra A.

Yelp
We purchased cheese bread and a pizza from here while passing through the area. I did request light sauce, which they honored and the pizza was delicious! The cheese bread came with ranch and marinara, we opted for the ranch which has a heavy dill-flavor (which my daughter was LOVING). The staff was kind, and we may just stop here again on the way back. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

K W.

Yelp
Have yet to have a bad experience at this Lucky Slice. Staff is always friendly and willing to help out with selection suggestions. I love coming here for slices with the kiddos. This place is definitely a gem. If you're a pickle lover try to pickle pizza!

Kelsey L.

Yelp
Only 3 stars if you're vegan or gf. The first time I came here the food was amazing but then the second time I came with my husband to a different location. He is vegan and gluten free and ordered a pizza, the crust came out burnt, there was hardly any cheese on it and even the vegan pepperoni was burnt around the edges. He kindly asked them about it to which they replied that the pizzas just come out burnt and they measure their cheese. They added a little more cheese for us but you can see in the photo after they added the extra cheese what we paid $24 for.
google avatar

Yelp
Phenomenal amount of flies at the table and in the restaurant. They were literally every where and attacked as if you invaded their spot! Food was good. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, side Caesar salad and wings. Pizza and salad were great. Wings were ok. I would return for the pizza but I recommend taking it to go.
google avatar

Nicole T.

Yelp
Very good pizza and they have really good wings, fun place, friendly staff.

David M.

Yelp
Hands down our favorite pizza joint in Ogden. We love it, our kids love it, our out of town guests love it. I miss the ambiance of the old location, but they were growing out of it and needed to expand. The vegetarian options are great, but I miss the Danimal!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Pizza here is light and delicious but nothing special due to very low amounts of cheese and toppings.
google avatar

Harmony M.

Yelp
They moved across the street to a larger location! Love that they have a separate to-go window from the dine-in line. They have so many yummy options. Love the new layout and decor especially the titles and the art! They even have a local thrift shop that has some items on sale. The have booths tapped off to keep them socially distanced and the staff wears masks and gloves.
google avatar

Artie D.

Yelp
Great wings their ranch is nasty in my opinion it was like too sweet But overall service was great I recommend highly

Mitch H.

Yelp
Great spot for pizza. It has a fantastic atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming staff. And then there is the food. Everything on the menu is amazing and a great eat for the price. I like how there are monthly and daily pizza flavors so there is always something fun to try. It's also nice how they are open late (for Utah). 10/10 recommend.
google avatar

Stacy G.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch on Saturday and were pleased with our visit. We ordered three different slices, two in combo meals (they came with a breadstick and Caesar salad) and an order of Mac and cheese. The pizza and breadsticks came out first followed by the salad and then the Mac and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! We loved the Caesar dressing. It had so much flavor. The ranch was delicious too! We had the cheese, carnivore and pork and Mac pizza. I loved the carnivore and my husband loved the pork and Mac. They had a nice variety of sodas in the fountain with some being different than what you normally see. The crust was my favorite part. I like thin crust and this was just the right amount. It was cooked to perfection! Yum! The girl taking our order was very nice but did seem to struggle with understanding what we wanted. We had paid for two combos but she only gave us one cup. She seemed confused when I asked for another cup. I'm not sure she believed me when I told her I had paid for two combos. I asked that she pull the order back up just to make sure I did pay and that I hadn't made a mistake. We had indeed paid for two drinks so she gave us the second cup. No big deal but just a little bit of a hassle. Didn't change the goodness of the food. It was a nice lunch and fantastic food. The decor inside is cute and we loved the wet floor sign. We will be back for sure! The plants by the big windows in back need water! I'm a plant lady so it hurt my heart to see them bone dry and dying. They have such a perfect spot in the window but need some love! I might have taken one in to the bathroom to water it. Lol. I just couldn't stand seeing it so sad.

Lane P.

Yelp
Clean place, friendly staff, good food. We had the carnivore pizza, mot-z ball-z (mini mozzarella sticks), & zeppoles (fired pizza dough tossed in cinnamon sugar with Carmel sauce) deliciousness

Yelp
I LOVE the food at Lucky Slice. I've eaten here countless times at multiple locations, dine-in, take out and delivery. There are two things you can count on at Lucky Slice: 1. Excellent food no matter what you order, it's just plain delicious. 2. If you are ordering take out or delivery and you expect your food to be delivered or ready for pick up according to the time they provide, you will be sorely disappointed and hungry for AT LEAST 20 minutes past the time they quoted. Not once in the 15+ occasions that I have ordered take out or delivery have I gotten my food prior to 20 minutes past the time they gave me. I don't know what causes this issue, but the location on 25th in Ogden needs this resolved. This is the only issue holding this Lucky Slice back from 5 stars.
