Small vietnamese restaurant chain that specializes in vegan pho and banh mi. Service was fast food vibes, atmosphere was modern and trendy. The food was good but lacked any real authentic flavors of vietnamese cuisine. - Brisket pho lacked the beef bone essence but provided decent value in terms of portion size and protein provided. 3.5/5 -Lemongrass chicken side, tasted too much like soy sauce and fish sauce and nothing additional. 2.5/5 I recommend the brisket pho and their iced coffee. Come to have food with asian influence but dont expect authentic vietnamese flavors

We had the most amazing lunch here for a great price. Our 6 and 3-year-olds loved the noodles and the brisket. The staff was so nice and I would come back anytime. Super inviting and great food. Looking forward to the leftovers since the portions are big.

Google
Food was delicious definitely recommend if you are a Vietnamese food lover! Menu is limited why I gave the rating of four for the food! Vietnamese summer were delicious - less noddles would be better! Pho was outstanding! Me and Emmy is lemongrass. Chicken sandwich was good.

Amazing experience at Lucy’s. We got the Pho (brisket and lemon grass chicken), portions were huge and the food was delicious. Staff was so welcoming and kind!!

I think I found one of the best vegan pho places in NYC. Nothing comes closer to the flavors than here. I’ve visited other Vietnamese restaurants and their vegan or vegetarian options are either non existent or made sloppily with random chopped up veggies. However, this place is different. I’ve gotten their Vegan Chick’n Pho multiple times now and the ingredients are just so tasty. The vegan chicken is such a nice ingredient to the dish. The soup is flavorful. And the portion size is just perfect. The staff are nice and chill too. This just hits the spot. I crave it every now and then for some yummy pho. As a vegetarian, I’ll be coming back.

Google
Overall rating: 4.9 I’m not sure why this has low ratings. Best Pho I’ve ever had! I got the shrimp summer roll, iced tea and brisket pho. I got it to go & love that they packed the meat and broth separate. It’s on the pricier side, so if I come back - it would only be to just get the pho. I’m more of a ramen girl, but was soo surprised that I love it so much. It was very flavorful!! I’m thinking about it now 😩😍🤤 Highly recommend!

Google
Brisket was mouthwatering and flavorful, pho broth was so authentic, and the brisket bánh mi was the best i’ve had in Brooklyn! Vietnamese coffee is a MUST. Service was also so lovely and welcoming. The place is clean, comfortable, and cozy.

Google
Lucy’s Vietnamese has the best beef pho! It’s my go-to spot—the quality is consistently amazing, and they’re super flexible and understanding when it comes to special requests or larger orders. With multiple locations around Brooklyn, it’s always convenient to find one nearby. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors!

Yelp
Came with a group of five. Adorable space with a bright and airy feel, with fun color and character to it. Staff were great, fast and friendly service. The food was definitely fresh and very large, meat heavy portions which is great! However it just lacked that quintessential flavor you're looking for when eating bahn mi or pho in my opinion. I left feeling unsatisfied because I was craving Vietnamese flavors.

Yelp
A simple menu with perfectly executed dishes is my favorite format for a restaurant, and Lucys Vietnamese perfectly embodies this concept. A no frills counter service restaurant with a selection of Pho, Ban Mi, and noodle bowls, Lucys is the perfect spot for a quick and delicious bite. I got the Pho with brisket, which was to die for. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was incredibly tender. I don't know if I can go back to having Pho without brisket, it was such an incredible take on a classic Vietnamese dish! This was the perfect bowl of Pho, and for $15 I really couldn't ask for a better meal in Brooklyn.

Yelp
This is my second time to this location and the food is consistently good! The brisket Bahn mi is full of smoked meat, fresh crisp vegetables on a warm bread. The vegetable broth was delicious and delightful to the soul. The shrimp spring rolls are so clean and light. I also had the warm garlic bread with an aioli and chopped scallions. It was perfect with the broth. I love their Vietnamese Coffee, it was my primary reason for returning. The customer service upon walking in is welcoming. The place is clean and . They also have water and cups to serve yourself. Enjoyed our meal. Definitely five stars!

Yelp
So bummed about the vegan banh mi :( The "chicken" is not tasty, and the new mushroom one has such slimy mushrooms! Bread also got soggy from the pate. My friend enjoys the non-vegan options, but everything I've tried has been disappointing.

Yelp
Fast food Vietnamese, meaning no table service here. This works well when you're craving a bahn mi. Menu has a few pho, summer rolls and noodles in addition to the sandwiches. Quick and easy. Nice little discount for first responders, teachers and health care workers.

Yelp
Came here late night for some pho and wow was I impressed by the broth. Super flavorful rich umami broth- and it's vegan?!? The mushroom broth is coming through. The brisket was smoky and tender. It went with the shallots and jalapeños. The portion of brisket was giving Texas. Food tasted like a crossover of Texas and Vietnamese-delicious and filling combo

Yelp
Of all of the Asian diasporas, I rarely indulge in Vietnamese cuisine. So I was thrilled for the opportunity to dine in Lucy's Vietnamese. I stopped in on Thursday, Oct. 12, for lunch and was met with warmth. Mai (I'm unsure if that's the correct spelling) was bright and expressed a lot of pride in Lucy's, speaking glowingly of Lucy's success and food. I was more than ready to sit and eat. I chose a tofu summer roll as my appetizer; smoked brisket pho for my entree; bottled water to wash it all down. I also ordered a brisket bah mi for the road. Everything was amazing, but let me tell you, the Pho was the real star of the show. That broth was so flavorful and fragrant. You could totally tell they put a lot of love into making it, letting all those spices and herbs work their magic in there. Mai was nice enough to send me home with a large container of broth to eat with leftovers. The beef brisket was tender and practically melted in my mouth. I should note that Lucy's did not skimp on the brisket; I estimate I had as about 8 oz of brisket in my bowl. The garnishing plate (jalapenos, culantro, basil, and bean sprouts added a nice textural contrast to the dish. Also, I enjoyed the subtle, pleasant heat from the jalapenos. I like spice! I did add a bit of hoisin sauce and Sriracha -- while not necessary --they were a welcome bonus. They added a touch of sweetness and spice to my pho. I highly recommend Lucy's. I will be back at either of its locations.

Yelp
Lucy's has multiple locations and this one is quaint and cute. They offer pho with different proteins in a vegetarian broth which I appreciate as I don't eat a lot of meat. I usually get the chicken pho but most recently the chicken was strange (not sure how to describe it). I do enjoy the fresh ingredients offered as well as the Vietnamese coffee and anniversary special deals.
google avatar

Yelp
With a name unlike the other viet restaurants I've visited, I was unsure what to expect. Lucy's also takes a slightly different approach, their pho is more of a fast casual option with related customization available I can't say that I usually wait a long time for pho anyway, but my meal was certainly prepared very quickly. In my opinion, the broth is most important aspect of pho and I can tell you I slurped loudly with the noodles.

Yelp
Brand new pho and banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches), in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Grand opening gifts. Free t-shirts or canvas bags with purchase! This store features a Texas style smoked brisket that is smoked (made from their own special recipe), for 14 hours. Tasty tender and succulent. A great protein addition to the pho or especially the banh mi sandwich. Yum! Tried different dishes from across the menu: The highlight here, and my favorite, is the smoked brisket. I got it with banh mi. With cucumber slices, shredded marinated carrots and cilantro. Quite tasty. I would recommend getting anything as long as it has some smoked brisket on it! Yum! I recommend getting this. You can ask for extra sauce. I think it needed a bit more. Lemongrass Chicken Pho; a nice, light shiitake mushroom broth with tender noodles, bok choy and lemongrass chicken. Nice, light and flavorful with that hint of lemongrass. Portion is a decent size. I was quite full. Vegan options. A couple to choose from. House made black tea. Comes in pre-packaged bottles. Tasty, but a bit overly sweet for my taste. Come on over and try some of their wonderful smoked brisket! Seating: there are booths and small tables. And one larger table by the window.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Vietnamese food and when I saw that is a new Vietnamese place open in the neighborhood, so I want to try. Lucys Vietnamese is more like Vietnamese fast-food take-out restaurant for me. Type of food are more fusion that an authentic Vietnamese food, but I have to admit that their 14 hours cooked Smoke Brisket is excellent! Both Pho and sandwich. Small restaurant with smaller menu than I expected but I totally understand because of the area is Williamsburg. This is not Queens, so it is hard to have an authentic restaurant like Queens. The food base on ethnicity of the area so on Grand St. is more Latin American people even some Asian, Italian, Caucasian and Arabic but still enflurane by American type of food. Overall, the restaurant is ok, price is good, quick prepare and super casual. Part self-service by you must go order at the counter then if you want to stay, they will bring your food to your table. There is a water tank counter, and you can get your water from that table. The utensil, bowl and dishes are plastic or paper so you can throw away after you finish your meal. No seating outside so if you have dog with you for pickup it is fine but if you want to dine-in, I'm not sure if the pet is allow. They will probably busy more during winter or cold day because people will want to eat hot delicious soup.

Yelp
The vibe is great with tasteful Christmas music and nice decor. Spring Roll Brisket is delicious, but I'd appreciate more greens. The Brisket Banhmi is very good, though not traditional; I miss the mayo, pate, and wish the carrots were more pickled. The flan is incredibly creamy, almost like cheesecake. Overall, a pretty nice spot!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Its definitely not your traditional pho but gets the job done when you're craving a nice bowl of soup. Their brisket is smoked for 15hrs so it imparts a smokier taste in the broth.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit at Lucy's Vietnamese. I took the L train to get here and it was a few blocks away. I got there around lunch time and there were two other patrons. The restaurant is small, but open at the same time. There were tables that could fit a small group if needed. I decided to order their signature pho which is the smoked brisket and I ordered my mom the lemongrass chicken pho. I went up to the counter and placed my order to go. The brisket was delicious and tender. I also loved the smoky flavor. My mom devoured her chicken pho and we both were surprised at the amount of food we got. I knew I couldn't eat all in one sitting. The service was really good--she packed my bag very carefully. While I was waiting for my order, there was someone picking up an online order (you know one of those GrubHub or DoorDash people). He was standing way too close to the entrance to the kitchen area and register so the employee told him to back up some. She wasn't rude but obviously that section is just for the employees unless you're planning to help them cook. He was a bit of a jerk, but I like how she held her own. Also, I really liked the swag table--I got a tote bag because you can never have too many tote bags. I don't get out to Williamsburg that much but I would definitely come back to Lucy's for great food and great service.

Yelp
I liked that the food here was flavorful but not too spicy. I have had other bahn mi and noodle dishes that have a ton of dried peppers in them that set my mouth on fire. But the tofu bahn mi and summer roll with peanut sauce were delicious. I especially liked the crispy bread of the sandwich.
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had the tofu bahn mi. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Solid bahn mi. I added some sriracha to give it some extra spice! There was one gender neutral restroom. The staff didn't rush me out after finishing and kindly pointed out that they have free wifi.

Yelp
The customer was top notch. Thank you Maggie and Mayt for your hospitality. ThisVietnamese food was so delicious. I enjoyed the phō,the summer rolls, the lemongrass banh mi and the Vietnamese home made coffee. The broth is vegan and sooo good. I loves the brisket which is smoked for 14 hours which gives it an extra notch flavor. Their banh mi is so good the bread is and is served with an garlic aioli. Also ask for Chu's secret chili sauce which is only served in this location. They do not serve pork here. This is the newest location which is in East Williamsburg . This location is the biggest, clean and simple. It has an appreciation wall where customers can thank the employees and a photo timeline of their locations.

Yelp
Okay for Vietnamese if you're in Williamsburg brooklyn and are unable to go into Chinatown, LES, or deeper into ethnic enclaves in brooklyn or queens. Their food is prepared fresh but it just lacks the traditional flavors of more mom and pop places.

Agnieszka S.

Yelp
This place is just wonderful!!! Vietnamese food at its best! Best pho I ever had and I had many. Service is just great! Definitely my favorite spot in Brooklyn!
google avatar

Yelp
This is an amazing place for banh mi and homemade teas and viet iced coffee. Great vegan options, went with the tofu banh mi, which tastes authentic, yet fresh and delicious with the signature toppings of cucumber slices, marinated carrots and cilantro. The banh mi I remember from my childhood when I was not vegan. I came here when they had one small shop in Bushwick, now they have expanded into several locations in Brooklyn. The smoked brisket is popular here, one of their most sold items. If you get a chance, pass by here and you won't regret it.

Yelp
It is my first visit at Lucy's Vietnamese. Staffs are very friendly, services are good. I ordered a bowl of Vegan Ginger Chicken Vermicelli. Vegan chicken is very tasty, it comes with lots of mixed veggies & special "sauce". It's so delicious!!! Their Vietnamese Coffee is incredible, $5 per bottle (2 cups). It's one of the BEST Vietnamese coffee in town. I was being told that this is their new 4th location in Brooklyn. They are giving out one FREE gift per customer (while it lasts), their Tote bags are cute & useful. What a pleasure dining experience! I'll Definitely come back to try their phos & sandwiches. P.S. Lucy's offers 20% Off to All teachers, Polices, Veterans, Firefighters & Health Care Workers. In Store only. Don't forget to bring your valid ID!! Always Happy to see this appreciation offers from a small local business!!

Yelp
The smoked brisket pho was so tasty! I am definitely looking forward to trying the other items on the menu! The service was also quick and Mai was a please to talk to. She made the vibes feel so comfortable and felt right at home.

Rachel R.

Yelp
I felt true bliss unboxing my brisket pho to-go at my kitchen table. The broth was flavorful, the brisket was soft and soo tender, a perfect meal.

Yelp
These guys are so so nice and welcoming. The space is simple, but the food is SOLID! I'm so happy they are in the neighborhood and I hope they will stay for a very very long time XOXO

Catherine B.

Yelp
Good brisket that adds flavour to the Pho which is not quite the traditional style in Vietnam. Summer shrimp rolls were great. A little disappointed to be served a plastic bowl of Pho with plastic spoon and more plastic containers but hey try it once they said. Clean place. Atmosphere was cold quiet and not even a hello or thank you. Nothing to go out of your way for having so many good places for Pho around the neighbourhood.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff is super friendly, the restaurant is clean and stylish. The brisket is superb. It was a rainy day and we had the brisket pho...it was DELICIOUS. We also had the brisket sandwich, it was also great. This is our new favorite and will definitely be back. I also liked reading the origen story in the placemats. A must go for sure.
google avatar

Melissa F.

Yelp
Love the pho here! I've tried the chicken lemongrass and the tofu and both were good. My boyfriend tried the brisket, which was tender and had a smokey flavor. The service is friendly and so fast. By the time I ordered and grabbed a cup lemon water from their water station they were already bring out our food. You can tell they put some $$$ into the interior to make it a nice, clean dining experience. One note is that when we dined in, my pho came in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon typically for takeout. I really hope they move to more sustainable bowls/utensils in the future!

Yelp
Solid Pho spot for a great price, enjoyed the spring rolls and highly recommend for a quick bite

Yelp
I enjoyed the Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Pho the most out of all their items. There is a table with promotional products, I was given a choice to pick one for free.

Liora S.

Yelp
Excellent! Lovely people incredible food. Been back 2x with the effort for me to drive there. If you are local you are blessed

Ciara C.

Yelp
Amazing service. Their vegan broth is SO good. Also, the owner and employees were so sweet. Went there when they first opened and they gave out tshirts, and other merchandise for free. Love this place!

Yelp
This place has a nice ambiance. It's very cleans. The customer service is great ! They were friendly with my son. You don't have to wait long for your food either. I ordered the brisket rolls, but I really want to try their banmh mi.

Peter S.

Yelp
The service here is outstanding, the beef brisket sandwich is perfectly prepared, neat and delicious. Loved this little gem.

Jason P.

Yelp
Pho is FAR from authentic. To be honest, it doesn't even taste anything like pho. It's not terrible, it just is not pho.

Yelp
During a recent visit to the Williamsburg area, I was drawn to Lucy's Vietnamese by their enticing Restaurant Week menu displayed at the entrance. Curiosity piqued, I opted for the vegan chicken banh mi sandwich, a delightful creation layered with pickled daikon and vegan meat. The crispy baguette complemented the flavors wonderfully, creating a taste-packed experience. For appetizers, I chose the chicken summer roll, and for drinks, their black iced tea - all of this came at an excellent value of $20. The staff was friendly and the owner (?) gave me a cup of ice so I can have a better iced tea experience. It's obvious she takes pride in her tea and I think they brew their own. The space is impeccably clean with forks, soup spoons, chopsticks, and free ice water at your disposal. I left content, with the certainty that I'll return again. Lucy's Vietnamese is a destination worth trying and returning to. A satisfying experience that lives up to expectations.

Yelp
Lucys has become my favorite go to pho spot in the city! The food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly! the food has flavor at every dime of day, whether I come in for lunch or close to midnight. Highly recommend!
