Ludwig Salzburg

I had the best burger here. Everything was great until I asked them to pack my food because I had about 3/4 of it left to take away. I waited and waited, but it never came back to me. I asked, and the waitress said, "Oh, sorry! I thought you wanted me to take it away!" That was it! They charged me full price, with no apologies offered, like another burger to go, a free snack, or even a discount as an apology—nothing! That's how I went in happy, but I came out unsatisfied and unhappy! Make sure to explain everything twice so you don't have the same experience as me!

I had a delicious burger with fries my wife went for a healthy but filling poke bowl. The beer was a really good local brew from the tap. Staff could not have been friendlier. Not bad value for Salzburg.

Very good experience. My daughter is celiac and they served a delicious gluten-free burger and fries. It's a cozy restaurant and burgers are incredible, specially the Ludwig Burger. Glückwunsch, aus Brasilien!

Outstanding burgers which would even be respected in Texas! They were most accommodating to customize our burgers as requested. Pleasant staff & excellent beer selections. Dance, Herr Ludwig!

We stopped by as a family of four without booking on a Wednesday early evening. The place had a cool vibe, a nice cosy interior and was fairly busy, but we were quickly seated by a polite member of the team. The menu selection was good, some interesting burgers, some nice lighter and vegetarian options and a small drinks menu. We tried a couple of burgers, some fries and pulled pork. The burgers were great, juicy and packed with flavour. The chips were superb (we had the homemade style ones) that came with a really nice custom ketchup. The kids loved their food, and it was under a hundred euros for food and drinks for a family of four, which seemed pretty reasonable! A cool place with good food that is worth a visit.

Ingredients are high quality, but the meat is flavored and cooked like a ćevapi. This is an interesting choice and not necessarily bad, but I prefer my burgers softer and with more acidity. They were out of homemade fries, but the brownie was heavenly.

Went dining here with a group of 20 people. Never imagined 1 waitress could handle the entire group, but she was very skilled and efficient. A work of art to witness. The food was also very nice, and you can see the open kitchen very well.

We loved this place! Such beautiful and delicious vegan food. We had the French toast and the smoked tofu sandwich with salad and everything was just pitch perfect in balance of flavors and presented artfully. I hope Ludwig is extremely successful for decades so I can return someday. My favorite place we went in all of Austria!

After a week of Austrian food went looking for something different. Found this little hideaway of the main streets and what a great find it was. Burgers were cooked to perfection. The service was fabulous thanks to Aviva great personality and welcomed us with a wonderful smile.

Awesome breakfast or brunch spot! We ordered coffee, eggs florentine and French toast - all were great! The eggs were perfectly poached, the French toast was unique (brioche bun was perfectly crispy on the outside), and the service was fantastic!

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. And outdoor seating is in a large courtyard away from any cars so it is quiet and comfortable. The waiters speak English and they also have English menus. Very good. I definitely recommend it.

Four of us all had excellent meals for lunch. Atmosphere was pleasant. Service was prompt and friendly. Chocolate shake was delicious as was the turkey burger called the Trudy. Macaroni and cheese was very good. Cheeseburger was delicious and all was served promptly. Restroom was clean. Good location near shopping and Mirabell Platz.

Excellent burger, cold beers, crunchy fries! All around a great meal with excellent service. We will be back!

A nice breakfast spot that has a lot of "American style" dishes. The waitress told us that American style restaurants are in right now in Salzburg and this place didn't disappoint. They had a nice selection of breakfast options and the burgers and beer looked good too.

Really love the burgers here! It is necessary to make reservations first. We ordered the Ludwig and cheese burgers. The patty is really fresh and tender and to our liking. I would gladly agree that this is one of the best burger place to go to in Salzburg. The burgers are also quite well priced at around 6-10 euros. We also tried the handmade fries which tasted great but not overly fantastic. The burgers pair well with beer! Overall a great fuss free eating place in Salzburg that I highly recommend.

This is perfect place to get a 'proper burger' in Salzburg. Bacon and onion burger with handmade fries and house beer made my day. Love it!!! Servers are very friendly too!! Highly recommended :)

Great atmosphere and very friendly waiters. We both had one of their two cheeses hamburgers which were excellent although just a little undercooked.

The burger was terrible, salty, and they didn't ask how you want it cooked. The rest of the food and drink was mediocre. Save your money and calories.
