LUFKIN COFFEE @ KINGS ROAD YARD

Beautiful hidden gem in pontcanna, wander through a little lane and you're in a market style lane with outdoor covered seating where can buy and enjoy a top class coffee iced or not x unique place def worth a visit would have loved to stay and read a book in the sunshine as is perfect for this. Have juices for kids, snacks and cool book selection.

Lovely little place. I only came here once (today), but the baristas were friendly, the ambience is warm and charming, and the coffee delicious. If I lived in Cardiff (maybe someday), I would certainly make this a regular spot.

We stopped in the new Lufkin on Clare road but has no review page yet, but still super good new place to chill and hang out with good coffee rustic decor and fresh cherry pies :)

I love this café. The people are very friendly, the location is perfect to just sit and relax, and their espresso and filter coffees are great. On top of that, the cakes are delicious and the cups are beautiful. Only one downside... it's so slow. You can't just nip in for a quick coffee as you walk past, and not because it's super, super busy. It's just a very relaxed pace here...

It’s really difficult to find a decent coffee in Cardiff but Lufkin just delivered. They made me the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had in Cardiff. It’s a really cool, chilled space in a quirky alleyway in Pontcanna. Croissant could have been a little fresher. I’ll be back again soon.

I can only rate this place from 1 visit, which was quite disappointing. I wanted to sample somewhere new in my neighbourhood while out for a walk. It's a rustic, pretty, shabbied & quaint looking place off a lane. Quite small inside, but appealing & comfortable for a handful of people. I waited about 15 minutes to be served, while the barrista made a coffee for someone else there prior to me. When I finally got my latte to go, the taste was quite unpleasing, & it was probably one of the priciest places I'd been to for a coffee.

Small, quaint little shop hidden away behind a load of houses in the centre of pontcanna. At first it doesn't look like much. But to be honest it's as big as it needs to be with a cute outside seating area and an organised inside seating area. First thing you notice when you walk in the shop is the coffee roaster. If you don't know already this place roasts their own coffee. Then on to the coffee. The coffee is incredible. The coffee is served in cute little home made cups which really gives this place a homely feel. The flavour of the single origins available are beyond fantastic and a lot better than any other local roastery that I've tasted. Definitely worth checking out. If you can find it.
