LUGANODANTE Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel

The hotel is well located next to the funicular which is located at the station. It is 1.30 francs. Although found out on check out that if you have a Swiss passport, it’s free. The barriers only go up when the vehicle is moving. It is also a few minutes walk to the main square and then a few minutes more to the lakeside. The check in was very quick with very friendly welcoming staff. The room is very comfortable with everything you need. Lovely powerful shower and decent size towels. There is air conditioning in the room and a free mini bar which is restocked each day. Breakfast - there is a good variety of both hot and cold foods. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an exceptionally comfortable and beautifully modern equipped room. |The hotel location is right in the heart of the old city, in the pedestrian zone and a very short walk from the lake.|One of the features is the private parking directly at the hotel, a plus in a central area.|We enjoyed the delightful variety of both hot and cold dishes offered for breakfast. |The menu for lunch and dinner offering a well-curated selection to suit every taste.|It is pleasure to come back soon

A newly renovated and gorgeous hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the funicular, this hotel was perfect for our stay in Lugano and exploring the surrounding region. The included Ticino ticket is a nice bonus but the value is in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and beds and the premier food and drinks. I slept so well, even with a bruised ribcage. The included breakfast is really delicious with everything one could need to fill up and start the day. The restaurant and bar, Flamel, is incredible. The house cocktails are a must try that will change your perception of what a cocktail should be. The dinner is first class and every dish is a work of art.|An extra special touch is the foosball table in the lobby near the bar so we could have drinks while the kids played. I can't wait to go back and stay at this hotel again!

Just returned from a 6 night stay at this hotel.Went to Lugano for Estival (Jazz festival).|The stage was a block away. Very convenient.|I can not speak highly enough of staff, rooms, and location. Hotel sits at the base of the funicluar to train station. Easy walk to everything BBC and CNN on the TV. AC worked very well. Great breakfast. Not much these days is worth every Franc This hotel is.

We had the best experience at this hotel. We spent 2 nights there, and the reception, housekeeping, service, everyone was absolutely wonderful. It’s always the little things, like offering a bottle of water when checking out when it’s hot outside. Close to everything, I will definitely come back the next time I will be in Lugano! Thank you!

Very convenient hotel in the middle of Lugano. Modern and very clean rooms and premises. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet has a big variety and lots of fresh items. I was on crutches and constantly looked after by the staff. I can only highly recommend this hotel!

Spent three nights at the LuganoDante, myself and a wheelchair user. |Beautiful room, with fridge, minibar and coffee machine. |The breakfast choice was amazing from bread, cereal, cakes, pastries, fresh fruit to the hot buffet with eggs, bruschetta, bacon etc. There’s no chance of going hungry.|All the staff were absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us.|We will definitely be going g back.

I just returned from a stay at the Luganodante Hotel. I have been planning this trip for several years to be at Estival Jazz and I could not have chosen a better hotel at any price. It’s an easy train ride from Malpensa Airport in Milan to Lugano. Get off the train, get on the funicular and the hotel is right at the bottom. This is a warm and welcoming place with a fantastic staff. I look forward to the day I can return.

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for a week on business, and it was perfect. Service was friend, attentive, and efficient. I had a single room, but with plenty of room to spread out and work in the evening. The hotel is immediately next door to the funicular, so getting to and from the train station is very easy. It's also in a pedestrian area, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and shopping, as well as beautiful sights. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast - simply the most amazing variety of food and beverages I have ever seen at a hotel.
