The best hotel stay we have had in six weeks in Europe. Stayed 4 nights. Private car parking available. Staff are amazing ,courteous. Extremely helpful . Breakfast was awesome. From beginning to end 5 star in a great location right outside the funicular to ride up to train station. Easy train ride to lake Como & Locarno and beyond. 5 min Walking distance to the Lake Highly recommend this hotel.

We had an exceptionally comfortable and beautifully modern equipped room. |The hotel location is right in the heart of the old city, in the pedestrian zone and a very short walk from the lake.|One of the features is the private parking directly at the hotel, a plus in a central area.|We enjoyed the delightful variety of both hot and cold dishes offered for breakfast. |The menu for lunch and dinner offering a well-curated selection to suit every taste.|It is pleasure to come back soon

The location was unbeatable and close to incredible restaurants and shops. Also, the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel.||Highly recommend!

A newly renovated and gorgeous hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the funicular, this hotel was perfect for our stay in Lugano and exploring the surrounding region. The included Ticino ticket is a nice bonus but the value is in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and beds and the premier food and drinks. I slept so well, even with a bruised ribcage. The included breakfast is really delicious with everything one could need to fill up and start the day. The restaurant and bar, Flamel, is incredible. The house cocktails are a must try that will change your perception of what a cocktail should be. The dinner is first class and every dish is a work of art.|An extra special touch is the foosball table in the lobby near the bar so we could have drinks while the kids played. I can't wait to go back and stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is well located next to the funicular which is located at the station. It is 1.30 francs. Although found out on check out that if you have a Swiss passport, it’s free. The barriers only go up when the vehicle is moving. It is also a few minutes walk to the main square and then a few minutes more to the lakeside. The check in was very quick with very friendly welcoming staff. The room is very comfortable with everything you need. Lovely powerful shower and decent size towels. There is air conditioning in the room and a free mini bar which is restocked each day. Breakfast - there is a good variety of both hot and cold foods. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had the best experience at this hotel. We spent 2 nights there, and the reception, housekeeping, service, everyone was absolutely wonderful. It’s always the little things, like offering a bottle of water when checking out when it’s hot outside. Close to everything, I will definitely come back the next time I will be in Lugano! Thank you!

Very convenient hotel in the middle of Lugano. Modern and very clean rooms and premises. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet has a big variety and lots of fresh items. I was on crutches and constantly looked after by the staff. I can only highly recommend this hotel!

This gem in the heart of Lugano offers so much more than just a convenient location—though that alone is hard to beat. Details matter here and make the difference. Breakfast is amazing with lots of choices. Rooms are modern, clean, quiet and well equipped with one of the best beds I’ve slept in. But what really sets Hotel LuganoDante apart is the people. Every staff member greets you with warmth and genuine care. There is a high tech valet parking on site, very efficient process, and great staff. We also had the pleasure of dining at Flamel, where every dish was creative. Fantastic hotel and truly caring staff throughout. Do not waste time looking elsewhere, highly recommend! Stayed in this beautiful hotel for a week on business, and it was perfect. Service was friend, attentive, and efficient. I had a single room, but with plenty of room to spread out and work in the evening. The hotel is immediately next door to the funicular, so getting to and from the train station is very easy. It's also in a pedestrian area, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and shopping, as well as beautiful sights. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast - simply the most amazing variety of food and beverages I have ever seen at a hotel.
