LUGANODANTE Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lugano and just a short walk to Piazza della Riforma, the charming Christmas markets, and the main shopping district. Being right next door to the funicular/cable car to the train station made arrival and departure incredibly easy.|The food was a highlight. Breakfast was incredible with a huge variety of continental and English options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. We also had a very good dinner at the restaurant. The hotel had a lovely festive vibe, but what truly stood out was the service. Every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend

I don't know what is the secret of this hotel, but it gets me each time: Welcoming and friendly staff. At the reception, in the kitchen .... A smiling, digital and fast service when checkin/out ... It is clean, everywhere, is smells good, everywhere, and the atmosphere feels smooth and modern ... The breakfast! The bed is comfortable, the rooms are well equipped and nice. It is located right in the center. I wish I would have a Luganodante in every place I travel to 😊 Keep the great work up.

The hotel is amazing. Great location, beautiful rooms and it was the best breakfast we had during our 15 days trip. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a special touch as it was super strong and the towels would dry fast. I will recommend to everyone I can as it was a great experience.

Great location , very central. Clean minimalist functional rooms (and hotel in general ) Very nice staff Excellent restaurant Very organised Bottled water One improvement would be to have cooked porridge oats (oatmeal) available at breakfast and maybe a few more no sugar healthy cereal options. Another important suggestion: The hotel doesn’t have a gym unfortunately, I believe they partner with a gym nearby called Gym and Tonic , which is a quite frankly a pitiful excuse of a gym with ridiculous prices. There are many other better and proper gyms the hotel could partner with. Please look into this. Overall I was very happy to have chosen Dante. Keep up the good work.

We had a great stay here. The hotel quite modern and well planned, a model of Swiss efficiency. The staff was cheerful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The location, just a block from the lake and at the end of the funicular from the strain station, couldn't have been better. We were 100% pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay! The staff is very nice and helpful. The bed was fantastic and they have a selection of pillows for those with back problems. Rooms were modern, clean, bright, and very well planned. Great location in old town.

Excellent stay! The location is perfect; just steps from the funicular. The rooms are immaculate with comfortable beds, and spacious, with complimentary drinks. The staff was fabulous, specially Roberto who welcomed us warmly and tended to our every need. Ten stars for this hotel and their staff!

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for a week on business, and it was perfect. Service was friend, attentive, and efficient. I had a single room, but with plenty of room to spread out and work in the evening. The hotel is immediately next door to the funicular, so getting to and from the train station is very easy. It's also in a pedestrian area, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and shopping, as well as beautiful sights. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast - simply the most amazing variety of food and beverages I have ever seen at a hotel.
