LUGANODANTE Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lugano and just a short walk to Piazza della Riforma, the charming Christmas markets, and the main shopping district. Being right next door to the funicular/cable car to the train station made arrival and departure incredibly easy.|The food was a highlight. Breakfast was incredible with a huge variety of continental and English options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. We also had a very good dinner at the restaurant. The hotel had a lovely festive vibe, but what truly stood out was the service. Every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend

The hotel is amazing. Great location, beautiful rooms and it was the best breakfast we had during our 15 days trip. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a special touch as it was super strong and the towels would dry fast. I will recommend to everyone I can as it was a great experience.

We had a great stay! The staff is very nice and helpful. The bed was fantastic and they have a selection of pillows for those with back problems. Rooms were modern, clean, bright, and very well planned. Great location in old town.

Excellent stay! The location is perfect; just steps from the funicular. The rooms are immaculate with comfortable beds, and spacious, with complimentary drinks. The staff was fabulous, specially Roberto who welcomed us warmly and tended to our every need. Ten stars for this hotel and their staff!

We had a great stay here. The hotel quite modern and well planned, a model of Swiss efficiency. The staff was cheerful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The location, just a block from the lake and at the end of the funicular from the strain station, couldn't have been better. We were 100% pleased with our stay.

The hotel is perfectly located in Lugano. You can easily access the waterfront or the tram to the bus station. Staff were all super friendly and kind enough to hold our bags until our train departure. The rooms were clean and furnished in a Scandinavian way.

I wanted to order a few sandwiches late after midnight. The guy extremely unfriendly gave me wrong information about night price of the room and then refused to sell any food. When attempted to order on the room, he refused the service and then lied !!! that toasts are over! It's ridiculous for 4* hotel to refuse service and to lie! How can you run out of toast in a hotel!?!?! Horrible! The guy needs to be fired on the spot!!! Update / reply to hotel's statement: The point is not that you have to comply with some regulations. Your employee lied! And made everything possible to refuse service TO HOTEL GUESTS!!! Not me. When I asked a hotel guest to order food, which I was first told was possible, your employee realised it could be for me, and made it impossible for them, he first asked stupid questions, then that he only cam serve it to the room, which was fine to the guests, then that he cannot wrap it in paper. Nothing of this mattered in fact - he just tried to refuse the service and when the guests insisted, he went to accept the order, only to come back in 5 minutes (he made us wait) to say that he cannot make the sandwiches, as there're no toasts left... in a 4 star hotel! So, to repeat: ordering sandwiches to the room as such would have been possible, there's no regulation against it 😀 He confirmed it to me and them. But lying and refusing them in this fashion is a no-go!!!

The best hotel stay we have had in six weeks in Europe. Stayed 4 nights. Private car parking available. Staff are amazing ,courteous. Extremely helpful . Breakfast was awesome. From beginning to end 5 star in a great location right outside the funicular to ride up to train station. Easy train ride to lake Como & Locarno and beyond. 5 min Walking distance to the Lake Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for two nights with my family and it was perfect! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They anticipated every need and had a wealth of knowledge. The location was unbeatable and close to incredible restaurants and shops. Also, the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Highly recommend!

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for a week on business, and it was perfect. Service was friend, attentive, and efficient. I had a single room, but with plenty of room to spread out and work in the evening. The hotel is immediately next door to the funicular, so getting to and from the train station is very easy. It's also in a pedestrian area, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and shopping, as well as beautiful sights. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast - simply the most amazing variety of food and beverages I have ever seen at a hotel.
