Lugnets camping

Decent campsite. Large, grass pitches. Large sanitary facilities, not too clean and quite a bad smell however. We had a pitch close to the edge of the campsite, which was quite noisy at night, due to the nearby parking. We visited one night to visit Falun Mine, which was more than enough.

We camped in a tent and they out next to the exterior fence where the grass was longer. The ground was reasonably flat although you could hear the trucks on the main road late into the night. The toilet and shower block was clean and everything worked well. Nice that they provide shop and paper towels. We used the kitchen and TV to cook and eat. They have basic equipment available.

We really love this camping! We come here every year in the summer to visit family. The location of the camping is near the Lugnet Hills, which is a place with beautiful nature which has a lot of opportunities to do some sports. The mix of nature, sports, and a lively weekend atmosphere makes it really appealing. I especially love to go mountain biking here. The area boasts a variety of trails suitable for different skill levels, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all riders. In the weekend it’s especially great because a lot of people from nearby come here to do sports, which brings a great vibe. The city center of Falun is nearby, within 10 minutes by car.

A well-run campsite with level, terraced pitches. The service areas are in a tidy, well-kept condition. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The shop at the entrance has the little things you need for everyday life. |Why go to this campsite: the Lugnet leisure centre in Falun is a fantastic area. Ski jump, hiking area, dirt bike, swimming pool with spa, indoor pool, hiking area. |It is also within easy reach of the town centre and the Falun Pit is also within cycling distance.|A good choice.

This camping spot is for motor homes and caravans ONLY. Only choose this location if you're camping with a caravan or motor home. The soil is so full of rocks that you cant get the tent pegs in without a ton of effort and risk of bending them. The desinated tent spots are TINY and will not fit a family tent, and they're right next to a slightly elevated road. This means you can't properly secure the lines, and that you'll be flooded in case of heavy rainfall due to the slant towards the tenting area.

Stayed here for the Sabaton Open Air festival. Lovely campsite, though we did camp on a slope because we're stupid. Access to crazy golf and swimming is available, plus there's plenty to see on a short walk around. Staff were nice, both in the shop and on the site itself. Easy to get to as well.

Quite ok, especially if you are an MTB enthusiast. Very friendly staff at the check-in. Quite loud and in my opinion too few showers and toilets for this size of campground. If you like to run, take the cross-country tracks and make a detour to the ski jump tower.

Stayed there during falun worldcup with the Camper. Showers and toilets are clean. the water was warm. Perfect for skiing and watcging the races. The People are Very friendly and helpful. Eyeeything all right. Would stay there again.
