Honestly somewhat disappointing. It’s a fascinating factory and the velvet is beautiful, but it really isn’t worth 60 Euros for one person.
I took the tour because I’m very interested in textile history, and frankly for that price I would have expected something a little more in-depth?
Instead the guide gave very cursory information and seemed to want me out of there as fast as possible. I was rushed past the information plaques at the front before I could even read them, & she pushed me through everything quickly, while looking impatient.
If I hadn’t ignored the hints and stopped several times to watch the weavers actually working, ask questions (when she was actually in ear-shot), and linger to look/take photos while the guide deliberately kept passive-aggressively moving on ahead, the entire thing would have been over in less than 15 minutes, most of which was dedicated to the showroom.
