Google
Saw stuff in store that was available on line for 1/4 of their price, called the store to tell them that, and they could not care less! They said then buy it online, and people don’t care. Not sure about that, why pay $120 when you can pay $40. I added that if one both is doing that, then it adds suspensions to all the booths You go to places like this for 2 reasons, 1 because the product is unique and not readily available elsewhere. 2 a bargain price. Here you have neither! So buyer beware! This place over charges and does not care!

The Gold Standard

Google
This location is better than the oak cliff one. A feast for the senses.. this ultra-cool shop offers great antique and curio treasure hunting. Such a Great date idea—even if you don’t like antiques. For the artist, the eclectic, the funky, and the antique lover. We got a stunning vintage bar cart for $100. Will 1000% be back.

Google
What a great find! Beautiful things, from decor, knock knacks, furniture…many unusual finds. Bought 2 chairs, wall art, pouffe.

Google
This is a curated vintage home goods store. Their collections will take you back to memories of grandad & grandma's place with art & knickknacks all the way to Mid Century Modern iconic glass pieces and furnishings. For the high quality vintage clothing, decor and great service, you'll be glad you came in!

Google
This is a beautiful store with high quality items. Friendly staff too! Glassware, jewelry, counting, and art.

Google
This place literally has everything!! It’s a “high end” thrift store, but without the high end prices, if you will. They have jewelry, clothes, furniture, appliances, antique stuff—everything!! It is also very clean and meticulously organized, which makes the shopping experience much more relaxing.

Google
Absolutely love walking around in this place! I bought a pair of wooden chairs for my balcony a couple of years ago when I first moved here, and have been back a few times since then just to walk around and look at everything. The owner (?) who I’ve chatted with a couple of times has always been incredibly kind. They don’t buy (at least on a walk-in basis), but they pointed me toward another shop in the city where I was able to sell something of mine. The quality and variety of items at this location specifically is great and prices are perfectly reasonable 95% of the time. And when something is on the pricey side, there’s good reason for it. Among the places I’ve tried, his is pretty easily my favorite antique/vintage shop in the city. Total sensory overload in the best way possible!

Yelp
Lula B's Design District is one of my favorite vintage stores in Texas. I'm from Austin but every time I drive to Dallas I make sure to stop and look at the merchandise. Most vintage stores in Austin have outrageous prices so I'm always pleasantly surprised at the great bargains I find. I'm particular fond of their selection of rings for larger hands (I now have 7 rings from Lula AB's and I consistently get compliments from people. Lastly, it always so pleasant to be in an environment in which the folks working seem to enjoy what they do and interacting with the customers.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Super cool place, check Lula B's out. I went recently for the first time, not sure how I never knew after living in Dallas for 20 years. Much better quality and options than your average antique mall. Does that mean the prices are a bit higher than your average antique mall? Yes I think so. But there's a ton of variety and cool things you may never have seen before around every corner. My personal favorite was the shop with the thousands of vintage postcards, you can stop and read about what somebody's cousin decided to write them about 100 years ago.

Yelp
if you read all my recent reviews you might think I'm going on the offensive with all shops in the Dallas Design District. And I am, at least a few. Lula B's is a collective operation with many dealers. My husband and I go there pretty regularly and usually leave with something. Just recently we bought a Warren Church hall table and vintage flokati rug, and in the past many objects like Genie bottles. lamps, tables, etc. So we've probably spent close to 5000 in there during the course of our living here in DFW for the past two years. is that a lot? you decide. But when it comes to actually trying to SELL something we are done with , they offer bottom dollar. The very bottom dollar. And yes I'm talking about my Milo Baughman chairs again. Robert the store manager said a QUARTER of their value was a " good " offer. Um no. Are dealers that desperate they have to rook long standing customers at Lula B's?? Oh well. It's sad that when you're buying they fall all over you but when you want to offer them something, they snub you like you're homeless. All I can say is ugh. Robert.. you are yet another chiseler. You disgrace the other dealers in the establishment you represent. I'm sure you didn't even pass on my info to any of them.

Yelp
Lovely spot for hidden gem treasures! Went with a friend and found a cute pair of vintage sunglasses. All kinds of quaint items and you can walk down memory lane, it's quite nostalgic. :) One of my fav vintage shops.
google avatar

Yelp
Although we didn't buy anything, this place is very organized and has very nice stuff. There is such a huge variety (as with most thrift stores), but it isn't junky or cluttered. Definitely stop by this place for your collectible needs, unique jewelry, cool clothing, and vintage furniture.
google avatar

Chevon D.

Yelp
This place is so amazing! This is hands down one of the greatest antique shops out there. I love that the different booths put new things out daily. I always find something so unique.
google avatar

Barbara J.

Yelp
Such great vintage selection in the Design District! Great price points and it's a walk down memory lane every time we go in.
google avatar

Tristan B.

Yelp
Awesome finds and a huge selection of antiques and retro clothing. I definitely recommend Lula B's. Especially if you're into rare finds.
google avatar

Greg A.

Yelp
Wonderful, eclectic collection of stuff. I need all of it. I'd seen a object and called back a month later to see if it remained unsold. The employee looked for 15 minutes and found it. Friendly service!

Shawn A.

Yelp
I was in your location on Wednesday and was treated very rudely by the lady working the counter. Wanted to look at a nativity set in dealer 8's booth. Was questioned by her on what I wanted to look at. She was only willing to pull out one piece and seemed put out. She told me that dealers don't allow customers to touch anything in the cases and she would only pull out one piece for me to look at. I felt like I was being treated as a criminal and not a serious shopper. I told her that I didn't want to bother her and to forget about getting it out for me to look at. I have been in the retail/antique business for over 20 years. Would be appalled if one of my employees treated a customer with such disrespect.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
A large variety of antiques. My favorite element is that this shop does not have those annoying shabby chic booths where the vendors sell candles and chalk paint. (Don't get me wrong I love chalk paint; but not when I want to see / shop antiques). Some items you can find at this store: dishes, shelving, a very interesting collection of brass items, taxidermy, western items, a vendor with a large collection of used (but good quality boots), living room furniture, kitchen furniture, multiple tea carts, jewelry, a beautiful collection of chandeliers. On a personal level I am not a fan of Play Boy and this shop does have multiple booths with Play Boy memorabilia. If I had children I would step cautiously around some of the booths.

Carmen C.

Yelp
First time here and certainly not the last! It is an amazing place! I walked in took a left and it felt as if I went back in time! I could spend the whole day here easily from open to close I went when I got off work so I was only here for two hours sadly, but I will definitely be back! Lula B's is out of this world!
google avatar

Kurt V.

Yelp
This is the "mid-century modern" mall for sure. If you you are not looking for MCM, you are probably going to be disappointed. If you are looking for a cheap bargain you will most certainly be disappointed. I am not sure what the pricing formula the vendors use, whether it is covering high rent or what, bit yowza the prices were steep. I did have an opportunity to visit with several of the vendors and even workers of the place and have to say most were good folks.
google avatar

Brandy B.

Yelp
Maybe the best vintage/antique shop that I've been to. Almost everything was in excellent condition. There were many unique and fun finds that I had never seen before. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a fun store for anyone to enjoy.

Donna H.

Yelp
Eclectic collection of numerous types of items. Excellent service. Clean and interesting. Always fun for a stroll through times past.
google avatar

Nunya B.

Yelp
The only helpful employee I've met there is the African American lady. Everyone else I have experienced on 2 different times I've gone were rude and extremely unpleasant. WAY over priced items. I'm sure they only charge that much bc they're in the design district. They refuse to contact vendors regarding pricing or deals. No bargain shopping or pricing whatsoever. Half the stuff there isn't even technically vintage. Why everything is priced so crazy high, I do not understand. I understand policy, however; the ppl that work there don't have to be so goddamn rude. I'll never return here again. I shop the ft. Worth location all the time. Big mistake to try the riverfront location. Do not go here if you're looking for a decent deal and pricing on retro/vintage items.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
If you love all things MCM, then this is the place for you! They have one of the largest collections of MCM inventory of any resale/antique shop in the DFW area. If ever I'm having a bad day or want to kill time, I will come here and look at everything and smile, and usually leave with something in hand. It's part of the thrill of an antique store - finding treasure! You will need the wallet to match your taste though. It is not cheap, at all. Everything is marked up way too much for what it is. In some cases you can have great luck at other lesser known resale shops and even the Salvos or Goodwill. Those places won't transport you to an earlier time, like Lula B's though. I enjoy the feeling as though I'm walking through people's living rooms in succession. And I've always had the best customer service here! Seriously wonderful people!

Cameron J.

Yelp
Great vintage shop with excellent staff and booths. I recommend this shop to everyone I know!
google avatar

Guy H.

Yelp
We bought three things here our first trip. Each booth is nicely curated and offers something for everyone. This is a great part of town to " waste" a Sunday afternoon. Give it a try
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Kinda thought they were up charging for a lot of things. This stuff is old and vintage, while it is desirable, I was shocked how expensive a lot of worn down things were. But some really cool finds were here!
google avatar

Olivia A.

Yelp
lots of pyrex, vintage glassware, clothes, and other great finds! It is on the pricier side of things but you can find some real gems in here! Definitely recommend stepping in to take a look around, odds are you'll find something you love!
google avatar

Catrina S.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and always feel like I've been transported into a different era! Even if you don't end up purchasing anything , it's a great place to be nostalgic or learn about previous times that were Pre-Your existence . I like to go here to find vintage furniture or knick knacks that are one of a kind. That's the beauty in these types of places . You find something that generally no one else owns . They have old photos, old letters they somehow accumulated , shoes, clothing of course , records , lamps, drinking glasses, etc. The list goes on and on . It's a bit different from Dolly Python as I feel they have more housewares type items vs clothing . It's a great way to spend a Saturday , just perusing everything and being fascinated. It may take you an hour to go through if you're really looking at the items . I'll definitely go back from time to time to see their new items!
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of both Lula B's locations but I favor this one! Easy to get to, always full of ever changing booths! The staff as so nice! Normally I go into local shops and the staff just glare at me and don't say a word and I'm an introvert so I just shrug and go about shopping silently and feeling watched. This place is different. They walk around the store but not to glare at you. The staff asks if I need a basket or a hand, sometimes comments on what I've found with the same enthusiasm I have for the object, and occasionally they have a great story at check out to go along with the items I've found. I enjoy stories as most people would and it makes me love my objects more when I see them on my shelf knowing I can tell others about their past. The prices vary by booth but if you like an item, I encourage you to keep checking back. The booths run a lot of sales and sometimes I find multiples of an item at different booths. Like blow molds and belt buckles.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
the best store ever for vintage with amazing peices if i were to complain it'd only be about the really high prices
google avatar

Jasmine G.

Yelp
Very friendly employees here! Was in need of some furniture pieces for my new place! Happy with my neat vintage purchases! :) Super cool place to check out for fun too! They also carry a good amount of records.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
The location off of Fort Worth Ave is much better for clothing but this location is still good. Prices vary, but you will definitely be able to find something!
google avatar

Deborah B.

Yelp
While the ladies who work here are wonderful, I felt the product was lacking and a mess. I was hoping this would be a amazing spot but sadly I was disappointed.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Best vintage in Dallas! Always coming back for more fun finds. Great selection of vintage jewelry, couches/furniture and art.
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
Amazing antiques and other goodies! Worth a visit and also check out the other place next door! Great finds and decent prices!
google avatar

Dena F.

Yelp
Remember when Lula B's was on Lower Greenville and I could WALK to it? I do, and while I lament it's lack of locality, I do love the bigger digs. Prices are still reasonable. Stuff is still awesome. And the clothes are no so crammed together so that you can't look through it all. In case you've not been to Lula B's you can expect to find every kind of kitch in the world including but not limited to furniture, bar accessories, art, clothes, boots, bowling bags, kitchen ware, toys, globes (yes, I totally have a thing for globes) and all forms of decor! And they were open July 4th--SCORE. Walked out with a sign that read BAR. You may be asking what's so cool about that. Well, it was cool because it was actually the top sign from an old slot machine and was framed. SO COOL!
google avatar

Angelica N.

Yelp
This Lula B's location wins hands down over the it's sister store, Lula B's East. Even though I LOVE both of them, this one has the distinction of having one of the most comprehensive and beautiful collection of mid-century modern pieces I've seen in any antique store. All of it is QUALITY, too. The furniture here will make our jaw drop. I promise! Beautiful clocks, gorgeous atomic coffee tables, side tables, lamps, chairs...they have it all. I only wish I had a million dollars so I could buy everything here and furnish my home! Oh, and be sure to check out the glassware collections here. Lots of beautiful items, such as pitchers, ashtrays, coffee decanters, vases...ect. If I ever win the lottery, this will be my first stop!
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
My gf liked this place a lot more than I did. After browsing around, I feel like the word antique should just be replaced with "OLD CRAP". It literally feels like people drove around old garage sales and got stuff from dumpster divers and then slapped the word "antique" on them. saying "cleaned" doesn't really help their cause either... Over priced and not really worth anything.
google avatar

Sam G.

Yelp
Large location with lots of vendors! You can spends hours in here picking through all the booths searching for treasure. While a lof of the booths offer MCM goods there are still a good number of other periods or types of goods represented. Prices vary by each vendor and some offer sales. As goods and vendors come and go, I like to return to Lula B's and shop.
google avatar

Nick W.

Yelp
When we go antique shopping, we are generally go looking for furniture. While this Lula B's doesn't have the largest selection of furniture, it is reasonably priced and I think that you could find what you want if you visit here often enough. The staff are always friendly and they appear to have a good selection of non-furniture items as well.
google avatar

Maggie T.

Yelp
It was overwhelming just walking in. A fantastic awesome overwhelming. Antiquing is not for those in a rush, so you better be patient and wear comfortable shoes. They have stall after stall to rummages thru. Don't forget to look up as well...there things hanging from the ceiling. I was there for 2 hours and I'm sure I still didn't notice everything. Treasures for everyone! I heard the other location is 2 stories. I can't wait to explore that next!
google avatar

Steve K.

Yelp
I first discovered Lula B's in Deep Ellum. That location has more kitchy items - tons, actually. This location is more big stuff - old furniture, bigger items. But still plenty to look at and see here. I've bought cufflinks here too - they have an old jewelry case where you press buttons to make the insides turn so you can see each shelf in turn (love that for some reason). Lotta old lamps, art, chairs, tables, etc. Lotta wacky stuff. But I do enjoy poking around this store. In general, if you're looking for small stuff (jewelry, collectable figurines, junk) go to the Deep Ellum location. For bigger items like furniture and the like, try this location.
google avatar

Christiana S.

Yelp
I probably will not check them out again, but it's because I don't care for what they offer. I take issue with them calling themselves an "antique" store...because they don't really carry many antiques. Almost everything in this store is from the 70's, 80's, and 90's (and I even found much newer stuff disguised as older i.e. faketique). If you love the 70's era furniture, clothes, and nostalgia from those decades, then this is the place for you. We did buy a kind of cute 'vintage' (AHEM, vintage is different than antique!) apron for my husband, but more as a novelty. We won't be returning, but just because it's not our thing. Other people seemed to really enjoy shopping there. Parking can be a bit of a concern, and there is a small lot next to the building. I was afraid someone might back into our car though, so I'd recommend the street.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
My girlfriend is a longtime patron and fan of the Deep Ellum location of Lula B's, so when we were down the street from here eating at Rodeo Goat, we thought we'd stop by and check out the goods! The location is deceptively large, and there was a good selection of items. My girlfriend saw two items in particular that she liked - a tapestry and a sombrero - in a "booth" that was advertising "50% Off Everything." She took the items up front and confirmed that they were 50% off the last marked price (there appeared to have been prior mark-downs on the items, though simple math showed these mark-downs were not at 50%). The employee confirmed the price, and we left the items up front while we looked around some more. When we came back to pay, however, a different employee intervened as we were being rung up, arguing loudly that "she knows the booth's owner, and he would never sell the items for that little." When we suggested she look at the 2 "50% off everything" signs that were in the booth, she then got even more hostile, telling us loudly "you would NEVER find a sombrero for this price." Of course, I HAD found someone selling for that much, but they were now simply refusing to honor that price. Meanwhile, the employee who had confirmed the items' prices to us earlier refused to even acknowledge our presence as we sought to have her confirm what she had previously told us. In the end they refused the honor the marked prices - prices which they themselves had then confirmed to us - and my girlfriend was so upset at the rude treatment, we left without purchasing anything. Had someone thought at the time of our purchase to simply suggest to us, apologetically, that there had been some error in their pricing, it would have been a different matter. But instead, their employee verbally attacked us for the simple act of seeking to make a purchase at the price THEY advertised. All told, the hostility we were shown was quite shocking to me, and we will definitely leave our vintage shopping for the Deep Ellum location in the future.
google avatar

Corbin C.

Yelp
Such a fun store to walk around! Great selection of mid-century modern and retro furniture! I would recommend this store to anyone!

Kelly J.

Yelp
The blond lady late this afternoon (who was at the register when I walked in) asked if I needed assistance with my items. I said no. I only had 4 items (two of which were clothing items which I decided to put back) after she "eye scanned" all four items. She then asks me "didn't you have more items?" I replied" yes, but I put them back." I proceed to the register to purchase the two other items, (where there was already another lady assisting me) and here she comes again. I purchased the two items and left the store.
google avatar

Becca H.

Yelp
I'd like to think I'm a "regular" here. I stop in at least every two months. Sometimes for a specific piece of furniture, sometimes for something small. The selection is eclectic and there is a pretty decent turnover of stock, although this also depends on how frequently the dealers restock their goods. Each section is different. This location is particularly good for furniture, especially coffee tables and chairs (don't expect to come here for your next dining table), as well as drinking glasses for your chic bar setup. Several of the dealers also have great vintage photos if you are into that sort of thing. Each dealer prices things a little differently, some dealers are a little steep while others are reasonable. Sometimes you can haggle though for a better price, depending on the item.
google avatar

Fabiola S.

Yelp
i would give no stars if i could. there were plenty of cool interesting items, however the employees were disgusting. i went up to purchase something and the racist old lady started helping me, then a sans melanin patron walked up and inquired about the price of an item, she stopped helping me and made a phone call to help the other customer. there were two employees up front, the other employee could have helped the other patron. instead i was left waiting for about 10 minutes before i just left without purchasing a thing. pass on this place if you're a poc or decent human being w morals.

W. G.

Yelp
Hands down the best vintage store around Texas. A must stop for us whenever we're travelling in Dallas, we always walk out of this place with goods in tow. There are 2 locations, as other reviewers have mentioned. Both are good, but this one is easily the best. This one has a huge selection of all things mid-century. Clothing, signs, toys, housewares, furniture, accessories, and generally interesting. This shop is on a street with lots of other antique shops. I recommend spending the time to hop around to all of them.
google avatar

Mary H.

Yelp
Well organized, lots of great stuff! The staff was attentive and helpful. Stellar experience. We bought some vintage glassware and they wrapped it up very carefully - with a smile as well. Want to go back!

J W.

Yelp
There are two Lula Bs locations and they are both worth going to, but this location was our favorite, just because we found more things to buy here. Lots of mid-century modern furniture, lots of vintage refrigerator dishes, pottery, glassware. Really cool store, staff was super friendly. This is the "smaller " location, but it cram packed with interesting things! A must visit place if you're in Dallas antiqueing.
google avatar

Caroline H.

Yelp
Swung by on a whim one afternoon and boy was I pleased with what I found! They are wonderfully organized, all the vendors had interesting items, and I loved the variety! Picked myself up some amazing art deco items that are currently sitting on my counter.

Edgar H.

Yelp
Went to both Lula B's and will be going back to both when in town. Each is unique in its own right and selection is definitely worth return trips. I was not impressed with the staff at the Riverfront store. They were superficial and appeared inconvenienced with having to be on site. Flip the coin, I was impressed with the staff at the Ft Worth Ave store. They were knowledgeable and welcoming, especially Laverne and Shirley.
google avatar

kristi a.

Yelp
The two stars are for the excellent selection of vintage goods. I give absolutely NO stars for their customer service. My mother, sisters in law and I arrived here at 5pm one evening and spent about 45 minutes looking at all the fun stuff they had. After we were sure we had seen everything, it was time to start buying. We began asking questions about some pieces, how they were priced and what-not. The woman at the desk was soooo RUDE! She wouldn't even look up from counting the money in the cash register to answer us! She even had the nerve to turn off the lights WHILE we were still in the store!! Needless to say, we left empty handed even though there were several things we would have purchased. I would find other vintage/antique stores to go to if I were you.

Timothy P.

Yelp
I'm not familiar with the Dallas consignment & antique market, but I frequent consignment stores in other parts of the country (Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, etc.). I really like Lula's. It's big enough to get lost in for a happy hour of treasure hunting. I'm always on the lookout for creative one-of-a-kind gifts, and especially love elegant glass vases and art. I was impressed with the selection and variety, as well as quality. As with any consignment/antique store, prices can vary. Some were kind of high, but quite a few were lower than expected, and in general I felt the prices were as should be expected. I went in searching for a gift for someone else, and picked up a complete vintage croquet set in excellent condition for myself for $35. Happy shopping!
