I went on Sunday for brunch. They offered a wide variety of foods and had a chef to prepare the eggs as you like them. Rich and good quality choice, very nice brunch!

Was at Ultime Atome yesterday, Wednesday, at around 18 h. There was a signboard announcing "Happy Hour" on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17 h to 19 h, but upon request the not-so-friendly answer was "this only applies to a very limited choice of drinks". I suggest that the signboard be amended. Watch out for prices: the cheapest available non-alcoholic beer is currently at €4.90 for 0.25 litre! Cheers

A great location this laid back bar and restaurant is comfortable and friendly. Good beer in a congenial setting. We had a very relaxed lunch and the food was very good.

We came as a group of 8 without reservation and were welcomed quickly to a table inside. The staff is pleasant and friendly. Part of our group was visiting Brussels for the first time and this was a good chance to give them a choice of Belgian cuisine. The prices are much lower compared to other Belgian restaurants, but it comes at a price of portion size. Most of the dishes on the menu were starter-sized despite being on the list of mains. The taste of the food was otherwise good, but we all left still feeling slightly hungry. The low prices did not compensate for the small portions.

IN SHORT. Brunch? No thanks LOCATION. This brasserie is located in the beautiful area of San Boniface: characteristic, in the atmosphere, in Ixelles. Very spacious environment but a bit neglected. BRUNCH. The brunch formula is the novelty (« Atomic brunch »). I tried it for the first time this Sunday. Reservation at 13:30. When we arrived, unfortunately, the hot food was already all cold. Many of the desserts were « melted ». Overall, therefore, I only ate a hot omelette (made on the spot). The offer is poor in the breakfast part. The « savoury » part perhaps needs to be reviewed (food not very well prepared and an unappealing selection). However, the worst thing was arriving at 13:30 and finding the buffet in the state it was in. STAFF. Helpful, kind, fast service. PRICE. 30 euros (drinks not included). Not adequate for the offer. brussels has a lot of brunches around the city so the comparison is inevitable. I wouldn't go back to this brassiere for brunch. Dogs allowed

Kind staff, nice interiors, clean bathrooms. However, the food has been disappointing. Prices seemed reasonable, but seeing the portions made me change my mind. My fish and chips was probably half a normal standard portion. On top of that, the breading was soggy and didn't taste very fresh (it felt like it was fried on "old" oil). My friend took a parmigiana (9 euros) which was considered a "main course", and yet it was literally three slices of eggplant with a bit of tomato sauce. Not even half of the terrine was filled; that would have been too pricey even for an apetizer that size...I found it very disappointing. All things considered, while some of the other plates looked nice, the small portions seem unjustifiable considering the price. I would suggest lowering the prices or, preferably, increase the portion size. It's a shame, because the place looks very nice and it could really be a nice spot for a 5/5 stars traditional Belgian restaurant

Google
Excellent local brussels atmosphere, ad a local I absolutely like going there for their beer selection and their food which is simple local delicacy which hits the spot. I would definitely go there to hangout with friends and family, in the summer on their terrace or in the winter indoors. Very local pub like vibes :)

The Korean chicken and fish were burnt and barely eatable (we did not finish eiter). Mussels were mediocre. Fries served with no sauce (until I asked). Small portions. Service was slow. 47.4 euros basically felt wasted. So will definitely not be back.

Yelp
We visited this restaurant twice during our recent Holiday. The 1st visit was great! Our server, a young black man, was FANTASTIC! (I'm sorry but I couldn't find the receipt and don't remember his name) He helped me with my French, gave us recommendations, and was GREAT. The young blond who helped us pay our tab at the end was also very friendly. For this visit I would have given a 5 based on the service and some of the food. Our 2nd visit was the complete opposite! Mireille, was aweful. We sat at the table for at least 15 minutes before she even acknowledged us. If I had known how horrible the experience would be we would have left then. When she finally came to the table she was rude and dismissive. We decided to share a couple of plates and go somewhere else for dessert and coffee. We asked multiple times for our check and it never came. I ended up going to the front and asking someone else for our check. When I had questions about charges added to our check she got upset. As far as the food, the mushrooms and chicken pasta was excellent (don't remember the name in French) Everything else was decent at best. I don't like to write such negative reviews but I have to be honest. I'm sorry. The ambiance by the windows is nice. If you sit in the middle it's loud and crowded.

Yelp
I had a decent but forgettable lunch at L'Ultime Atome. I know it's a brasserie, but I would have appreciated it if they had a few more light options on the menu. I had the falafel and tabbouleh salad. The falafel were quite good, but everything else was really bland. My coworker ordered a caesar salad that came out looking nothing like a caesar salad. I'm not sure whether they don't know how to make a caesar salad, or whether they just messed up her order. Service was so slow that she ate it anyway, because complaining or getting the right order might have set us back an hour. The beer selection is excellent, and they had a decent number of wines. I probably wouldn't come here again on purpose, as there are just too many better restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Great beer list! Lots of families with small kids. Casual dining. Food was decent. Service was friendly and efficient. I was just in the mood for a pizza. I had the scampi ail and Chimay Rouge...both where good. Reasonable prices. The outside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The interior reminded me of a British pub.

Yelp
Very good burgers with vegetarian options available. I believe the prices have gone up recently for their burgers by 1 euro but me and my friends still regularly come here for a quick bite to eat when we're in the area.

Yelp
Ma petite amie and myself went here after an afternoon in the city and we needed food and beer - badly. This place is pretty big and casual with a nice atmosphere so we went here. I liked this place a lot for its purpose. The beer list is pretty extensive and very affordable at €3,5 for most beers. For a Rochefort that's a steal. Also, the calamares we had were very good, not at all like the fried donuts you often get at bars. They tasted good and the consistency was also right. We did not have any main courses so I cannot comment on those. For beers and snacks this place is great, though.

Yelp
The brunch offer is quite appealing and the portions are big compared to the tiny tiny coffee they serve you.. Looks pretty good and well decorated but it is an-OK taste/quality You can almost manage to stay 2h to finish this up ;-) perfect for famished stomachs. Did like it but not as much to say " I'll return every weekend". See pictures and try it, it's cool.

Yelp
European version of a diner. It's a bit pricey considering the neighboring venues and their quality. The pizza is standard. The moules were home style, but nothing inspiring. My colleague had the steak and it looked decent. The real winner here is the beer menu; one of the most extensive I have seen at a European restaurant. It's always been crowded, the service average, and it's clean. I consider this place my dependable safety.

Yelp
It is a nice place. It has a terrace and a diverse menu (but a little too large for me to trust, deep down ;)). It has awesome opening hours (late night food needed? go go go!). It is large enough for you to (almost) always get a table. A good brasserie.

Yelp
Really like this place. Great atmosphere, cool neighborhood, trendy, happening square with cool little shops. Don't expect too much from this place. The food is average, the beer list is long, the specials of the day aren't all that special, the service is mediocre, if not poor, and they only accept cash or credit. That being said, I have been here at least 20 times and am always happy to return. It's great as a meeting spot, its great to get work done, to have a drink, which inevitable turns to five or six, or just to sit and enjoy the square and the view of the beautiful church Saint Boniface.

Yelp
The place is really nice, good atmosphere, good service, nice choice of beer and the staff is superfriendly. And no problem speaking english either. The downside is few vegeterian option and the food is like a lottery sometimes you get good food and sometimes you don't.

Yelp
Ditto other reviews... good food, decent prices, reasonable atmosphere, although the music is indeed loud. Would be quite difficult to have any sort of conversation during dinner. Service was not 'slow' when I visited, it was pretty much normal for what I've experienced in Brussels.

Yelp
Large menu with many food and beer options. The beer was good and the fries were decent- but in Belgium you can get good beer and fries anywhere. It was a bit pricey for what you get. Though there's not too much else in the area.

Yelp
This is a massive place in the highly-frequented Place Saint Boniface. The menu is humongous and it is classic Belgian bar/brasserie food. You can go here for anything: food, drinks, dessert, anything you want, they probably have it. Service is quiet decent for Belgian standards and things come to you relatively quickly. They have some tables outside which are great to try during the summer or a sunny day in Brussels.

Yelp
This is the place to be in Brussels! The food is very good and the beer selection is awesome! I also love the deco, the ambiance and the service is great too. I would definitly recommend this place!

Yelp
Reliable pub food! All day service so no matter what time you can drag yourself out of bed on a weekend you can get a good filling hangover cure! Service is slow but that's fine as its how I'm normally feeling when in there. During the week it's great for coffee, cake and wifi although can get a bit noisy if you need to concentrate.

Yelp
This is the place to be if you are a beer lover. The beer menu was insanely long. The food, however, was indifferent. My simple salade vert was gritty, and my bavette de boeuf, was an impossibly thick cut of flank steak that was quite tough. The fries were lovely, but arrived ten minutes after my steak. The creme brulee was delicious and a huge portion, but could have stood another minute under the flame. The wine list is minimal. This gets an extra star for being extremely convivial, having wi-fi, and being an excellent place to take up a table for an entire evening. Not a place for a great meal, but a good place to spend time if you're in good company.

Yelp
Great place to hang out with friends after work for a beer, a Sunday Brunch or just a coffee in a winter evening.

Caroline E.

Yelp
We went there for a dinner with friends on a Sunday night. Service is decent (a bit slow), but the beer list is extensive and the food tasty. Nothing fancy, but a solid place to take a group of friends from out of town. It is actually not that cheap, for 4 persons the check came to 65 euro for a meal and a drink for each of us. We had two salads (a chevre salad and a chicken curry salad), a steak and a flemmish carbonnade stew. Everything was good, but especially the chicken salad was delish! I go there regularly and will go again. If service was a bit more attentive, I would give it 4 stars!

Yelp
Great place - this is everything a real bistro should be: large, fantastic understated decoration (think art déco dark wood panels, plus industrial sculptures), great choice of drinks, and quality thereof (when you want hot cocoa, how many places will offer you a glass of hot milk, with chocolate chips on the side so you can adapt the strength to your taste?). We didn't try the food, but the choice looked good as well. Nice service, too, quite professional under the relaxed attitude. It's crowded but you can usually find a table at the back, and a bit noisy but for a good reason: conversations flow, you're here to meet friends and spend a few nice hours, so get talking! This is the sort of slightly old-fashioned café that's vital when you want to escape the weather (this is Brussels, remember?) and/or get in touch with humankind again.

Yelp
Atomic ! Great little bar/restaurant in a funky area, seemly populated by Brussels' arty-est individuals. Bag a table on the terrace and tuck into one of the huge, creative salads, accompanied (of course) by an ice-cold beer. Relaxed and unpretentious vibe - a little off the beaten track, but definitely worth seeking out.

Yelp
Nice place in the Boniface area. It's a bit noisy and usually quite busy, but the atmosphere's good for having a drink with friends.

Andre D.

Yelp
It took a long time to get any service. Place is packed and noisy. I ordered a rocket salad. The rocket was turning yellow and tasted of nothing. The main course was OK. Took ages for the waiter to bring the bill. OK for beer but too noisy and food is mediocre.
