Great vibe in this small and hip dessert spot. Awesome drinks and delicious desserts. Skip dessert at the restaurant and come here. Chocolate martintis were the bomb. Service was excellent.

This was my first time at Lulu’s and I must say I had a great experience. I went there with a couple of friends. We shared a charcuterie board as well as got a nice sweet treat. I tried their triple moose and it was delicious, although I wish I would have gotten a slice of cake in the end. The other desserts also looked quite tasty.

Incredibly disappointing. The cheesecake was decent, but it lacked depth - some flaky salt would’ve made it pop, and it was missing tang. My husband’s double chocolate brownie was supposed to be warmed, but it arrived cold. Despite being cold, it tasted burnt, and was very dry and sandy. The raspberry truffle martini was so strong that my husband and I split it and we felt like we were breathing fire after each sip. We were not ID’d for the martini, despite signs claiming they ID everyone (we are both in our mid-20s, but we must look old). Our waitress sat us, took our orders, and disappeared for twenty minutes. She brought our desserts and left without asking if we needed anything, and didn’t come back to our table for thirty minutes. We were sitting by the front, she walked past us many times, but we were never able to get her attention despite trying to flag her down several times. We considered approaching the counter for help, but the young man up there was quite swamped with a continuous long line - there appeared to be only two employees on a busy Sunday night. I had high expectations based on all the glowing reviews, but our experience was less than mediocre, both in the service department and the dessert department. Date of visit 11/9/25.

We stumbled upon Lulu’s Chocolate Bar on a whim after seeing a sign claiming they had the best dessert in Savannah—so of course, we had to check it out. From the outside, it looks like your typical bar, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by a large and unique dessert menu with tons of variety. I ordered the Chocolate Mousse Tower and the White Chocolate Chip Cheesecake. The mousse was absolutely amazing—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. If you’re a chocolate lover, I can’t recommend it enough. The cheesecake was super fresh and well made, but personally, it wasn’t my favorite flavor-wise. Still, I’d definitely come back to try more desserts and absolutely get the mousse again. Service was quick and the staff was genuinely friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Savannah and craving something sweet!

This place is pretty cute. We were visiting friends that live here. The cookie was delicious, the brownie was OK according to the hubbie. The chocolate covered strawberries were pretty tasty, though. We had white chocolate and dark chocolate. The drinks were cool, from the mule, not your dad's, and good Ole strawberry milk. The waitress was a bit odd but not bad. We would visit again because the vibe was nice.

This was a treat. The service was great even though they were slammed on New Year's day. The drinks and desserts were delicious.

Would love to see more coffee options. Went for lavender cake. Not serving any longer. Out waitress was super nice.

All the way from Southern California, we needed some chocolate, and this place didn't disappoint. The mousse, the martini and my sipping chocolate was on point!!! My wife thought the drink and mousse was superb!!! The cherry on top was meeting and having great chat with Celeste. She made our visit soooooo personable and memorable. She's wonderful. And yesssss, the chocolate was so devine I LICKED IT ALL, NO SPOON

Oh wow! Go here!!! Everything was delicious and basically melted in our mouths. We even went back the next night since we couldn't get these desserts out of our heads. The vanilla bean cheesecake was amazing. Even though it was a solid, once you took the first bite, it almost felt like it was liquid cheesecake filling. It was so delicious. The chocolate tort was decadent, rich, and was definitely good paired with the creamy, light, and very flavorful ice cream. We got the white chocolate raspberry. I actually ordered the creme brulee trio two nights in a row. They were excellently done. The flavors were chocolate, vanilla bean, and raspberry white chocolate. All were delicious with that perfect sugar crust on top. Finally, we got the peanut butter pie on the final night. It tasted more like peanuts and peanut butter, if that makes sense. It resulted in a very savory and rich flavor in addition to it being sweet and balanced by the dark chocolate.

Such a great spot for an after dinner cocktails and a tasty dessert. I had the triple mousse tower and it was light, yet decadent. The martinis looked divine. My friends got the milky way cheesecake and the brownie.....soooo good. This place does get busy, but it is such a little local gem where local and tourists alike will enjoy. I can't believe it took me almost three years of looking at, driving by this place wanted to go, to finally get here. Just go and satisfy your sweet tooth.

I love Lulu's! Perfect for a date night or drinks with friends. They have a great martini menu with chocolatey options and other fun ones as well. I love the orange dreamsicle. It's strong, but still full of creamsicle flavor. Their dessert are my favorite part! They have a pretty standard menu, but have seasonal options as well. Their crème brûlée is delicious! I just wish it was double the size, lol. I had the vanilla bean cheesecake this time. I highly recommend it.

Normally, I would say that my experience is always amazing but last night it was far from it. My family had gotten a table. They were the only people inside. They ordered their drinks and when we got there, we still had some of our pizza left over my babies were eating as it was hot. By the time we walked from city market to Lulu's. We asked the waitress. Is it OK if we bring it in and she said it was no problem. About halfway through we had ordered all of our desserts desserts for six people and another four alcoholic beverages plus coffees and a soda and another waitress very rudely came over and told us to put the food away when we informed her that the other waitress said that we could have it she told us yeah leftovers why would we have ex permission to bring in leftovers? Find that your policy the food was put away mind. We were the only people in the whole entire restaurant and our bill was well over $250. My two year-old was the one eating and because an adult took a bite is what triggered the whole thing.. on the way out my mom asked if she was the manager and she stated no, so my mother said with all the money we spent you really should've talked to the other employee not to us and words were exchanged, and it was extremely unprofessional. As someone who goes to Lulu is quite a bit. If I do go back, I will probably only go to the Whitemarsh Island one. But honestly, with the amount that we spent in the fact that not even another soul was in the building until we were paying practically, and it was only another four people. I just felt the whole situation was handled very unprofessionally. Don't get me wrong desserts were still excellent, but the way the situation was handled made me very skeptical to spend my money at this business again my parents who never say anything, especially my mother she thinks everything is just fine. It will be fine. Don't worry was so upset. She is hoping she can contact the owner that says a lot about the situation.

When a baker and a bartender dream together, you get something sweet and a little wild -- welcome to Lulu's Chocolate Bar. Since the opening in 2007, we CRAVE and ANTICIPATE returning to Savannah to visit Lulus. It's a 5 hour drive but when choosing our summer beach destination, I have to admit, Lulu's is sometimes brought into the deciding conversation. This is a female owned business and apparently, chocolate lovers- opened by two best friends both inspired by their grandmothers. Voted Best Desserts 16 years straight (plus Best Martini & Wait Staff ), Lulu's is where indulgence meets community. We usually get a different form of cheesecake each visit and it's like diving into dessert heaven. I ordered the S'mores Martini (with a toasted marshmallow floating on top!) The taste is what treating yourself really means. Creamy, melted hot cocoa, fall inspired drink that definitely warmed me up. Regular beer, wine and normal bar drinks are offered so my bf had an organic chocolate stout. We were in Sav the week before Labor Day so it was the off-season so we were able to walk in and go straight to the seat with fast service.

After a full day of exploring Savannah, we wanted a quiet evening in the hotel with dessert in bed. Locals recommended Lulu's Chocolate Bar for yummy homemade pie and it was a short walk from our hotel. It was a busy night and there was limited seating open so we were glad to have planned this as a take out option. There were plenty of options to choose from but we both immediately knew we HAD to have the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. Its dark chocolatey top and vibrant peanut butter center colors made us almost salivate! We also decided to try one more and selected the Key Lime Coconut Pie. The quality of both pie crusts was noticeable. Our favorite did end up being the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. It was creamy, and neither the chocolate or the peanut butter flavors overpowered the other. Very equally balanced. The ingredients used made for an overall excellent slice of pie. It even held up well on our walk to the hotel. The Key Lime Coconut Pie was more of a key lime than coconut. We were a little bummed we couldn't taste more coconut though. It was truly only toasted coconut shavings on the top. Regardless though, the Key Lime flavor was not overly tart and it didn't have sugary grit to it that I have experienced in other Key Lime pies. It was nicely balanced to the palette. If you have a sweet craving and want freshly made pies, you need to make Lulu's Chocolate Bar a stop on your visit to Savannah. It is a special gem for that city.

Lulu's is one step above amazing! Greeted fast and seated promptly. Good options for beverages and desserts to choose from. There's other options besides chocolate options. We enjoys watching them make chocolate martinis; everything looked Devine. We decided to share the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake; it was both creamy; moist; decadent; and the perfect amount of sweetness. The crust and the drizzle surrounding the cheesecake was perfect. Gets busy pretty quickly. Perfect for a date night or a girls night .

Sat outside and had a chocolate mousse cake for $10. Shared it with my wife. It was small but pretty darn good. They had other chocolate items, but this seemed to be the lighted, in terms of bulkiness on the tummy. Their cakes also looked really good. They also have a lot of chocolate alcohol drinks, but that's not really my thing.

I absolutely love this gem! I visited Savannah over a year ago, and this spot came highly recommended on several blogs. As a chocolate lover, I knew I had to check it out. I decided to try the chocolate cake, even though I'm usually not a fan, based on the staff's recommendation--and it turned out to be the best chocolate cake I've ever had! We also ordered the drinking chocolate, which was absolutely delicious. This place offers a fantastic variety for chocolate enthusiasts, including some alcoholic options. I highly recommend it!

I had the flourless chocolate torte. This is the textbook definition of indulgent and delicious. I don't really know what else to say because I just got it and ate it outside. It was dare-I-say perfect? A perfect end to any restaurant in Savannah? Chocolately with a little breakup with the raspberry. They had a Snickers Cake I was really eyeing, but I think I'll have that another time.

The inside sucks but the martinis were ballller. Music did not hit with vibe of drinks. Service was decent.

This was a classy place that I visited while visiting Savannah. It was busy on the night I came in, but I was able to get a table with no wait. Great ambience (think vintage bar) with a focus on desserts. My kind of place! I went with a brownie with a side of house made cookies and cream ice cream. It was awesome. Rich and fudgy, it was warm and studded with chocolate chips. My favorite type of brownie! The ice cream was the perfect accompaniment to the brownie. Creamy and sweet, it was sublime. This place was a great place for a treat while on vacation.

In loveeee with the concept and execution of this restaurant/bar!!!!! A dessert bar is the cutest idea and all the desserts here are amazing. We stopped in two nights in a row and were happy both times. Loved the crème brûlée trio and the peanut butter pie. Definitely a good way to end a night in Savannah. The long list of espresso martinis is fun!

Larissa welcomed us (my sister and I) with a warm smile and helped us with our order. She was helpful in getting me a new fresh black coffee as the first one I ordered was not hot. So she had the barista make a fresh new pot for me. We loved it as we just ordered out. The place was quaint and not loud with good soft music. Lulus chocolate bar is so beautiful! Glad we came after din din.

We went here after dinner. This is a nice little spot where you can hang out and chill. They had about 10-15 tables. They have a full bar and many dessert drinks that can be made cold or hot. They had a variety of desserts. We arrived around 10pm and got seated right away. We got a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream. And I had the mini crème brûlées. The 3 flavors were berry, original, and chocolate. They are within walking distance from the river.

Went in for a post dinner drink and some strawberries! Service was great and drinks were good too. My only complaint is the space is quite small so it can get very loud very fast! It would be perfect for a week day date night or a night cap

What a treat! Our server had the best energy and was so sweet. We got the peanut butter pie (super rich), the mini creme brûlée trio (our favorite was the white chocolate raspberry followed by the chocolate espresso), and chocolate covered strawberries. Loved the vibes inside too, especially the hot pink seats and the 2010s pop throw-back playlist.

I was in need of something sweet and the Leopold's Ice Cream line was literally out the door and down the street, so I decided to try Lulu's Chocolate Bar! There's a dine-in option or to-go. I was pretty tried from the day, so I opted for to-go. But would love to go back for a sit down experience! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It took me sooo long to pick a dessert! They all looked so good! I wish I tried more than one honestly! I asked the person helping me what his favorite was and he said the peanut butter chocolate pie, so I went with his pick and it was delicious! It looks a little sad in my picture, but I had to walk with it home and it was so good, it didn't even matter what it looked like! If you want a sweet bite, stop at Lulu's!

my husband and I visited on our honeymoon and shared the peanut butter pie and raspberry torte and I had a s'mores martini and everything was perfect. Such a cute place and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu!

Went here tonight and it was busy. I was by myself and told the host it's just me. She said there were tables and there was a wait. She also said I could sit at the bar as an option. I said that would be fine. She then said she needed to check my I.D. I'm 53 years old. I asked her if I needed I.D. For cake? She yes if you sit at the bar. I got seated at a table eventually because my I.D. Was in the hotel. I had the Fondue desert and it was good. The waitress was nice and attentive.

Great spot! I was sold when I saw the words "chocolate bar." Indoor and limited outdoor seating available. I sat at the bar. You can order from the dessert case to-go or dine in. At the bar, the bartender takes your order. Bartender makes your drink, while someone else works on dessert counter orders and delivers to you. I loved the Lulutini and Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie! They are open evenings, and Sunday afternoons. Definitely stop in when in Savannah!

The server was nice and attentive. I got the Sparkle bomb to drink it was just okay, it wasn't as sweet as I expected it to be but the presentation of it was nice. The creme brulee & Strawberry Suspension Cake were actually pretty good. They don't have many tables so make a reservation ahead of time, the menus we had were dirty.

The cake was dry and it took forever to get service to place an order. The frosting on the cake was good though.

This bar is exactly what you would expect, but even better. Not super large but has a nice comfortable feel. It's almost like you are at a friends house that has a really nice bar and amazing bartending skills. The service was great and the drinks even better. So many good ones to choose from. These are the drinks that taste so good that you can keep drinking and won't realize that you are drunk until it is too late. So be warned! We didn't eat but the desserts looked wonderful.

This place is sooooooo good! When friends were visiting for a birthday celebration, we each had a delicious martini and dessert! What a treat!! Such a cute shop and the staff were incredible! Thank you for making our day!!

We got the big chocolate chip cookie with ice cream to share. It wasn't cheap at $11 but man was it delicious! Nice and gooey and warm, it just melted in your mouth. Yum!

There were four of us who decided to venture this joint based on a locals' recommendation. Two from Georgia and two from Texas! We came for a nightcap and decided on three different martinis + a couple of desserts. For the martinis we went with: lulutini, Milky Way and the chocolate macarons. All were decadently delicious! For our deserts we went with the chocolate fondue (yum!) and the key lime coconut pie (yum #2!) All together, this place did not disappoint at all. Service, drinks and desserts lived up to our expectations!

Oh the chocolate martini there is not a better way to have dessert after a fun evening. Lulu's does an excellent job serving these delicious drinks and the selection and variety of options is impressive. I had the premium "Lulutini" and was ready to become a Savannah resident after indulging. The bar also served desserts like cake. Ambience is fun and service was very quick. Hopefully the alcohol cancels the calories.

This place is hands down the best dessert place in Savannah. We tried the cappuccino brownies, strawberry chocolate cake and white chocolate cookie dough cheesecake. All of them were fantastic.

What's not to love about Lulu's? Eyed this place driving back and knew I had to come back and it exceeded my expectations. Arrived on a Monday evening for dessert with my mom and grandma, and found street parking (free after 8pm). When we entered we were greeted by the delicious aromas of chocolate, and array of amazingly beautiful dessert display, and swanky decor that wasn't too intimidating especially since we were casually dressed. We were seated immediately, and Austin, our waiter greeted us with water. We ordered shortly after reviewing the menu. We got the strawberry suspension cake, white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake, latte and hot chocolate. Everything was DIVINE, including the hot chocolate (and I am hard to please with hot cocoa, lol). I can't wait to come back and try other desserts.

Nice little spot in Savannah where you can easily eat in or take out high quality desserts. Tried a few but the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake was straight killer. Among the best desserts I've ever eaten. Excited to go back again next year.

A good place for some good dessert. I ordered the lavender honey cake and a simple pinot Grigio. My husband ordered their "Not Your Father's Root Beer Float" (alcoholic root beer and a scoop of ice cream). He said it was very delicious. I was a fan of the cake, though I could have taken a stronger lavender flavor (purely personal preference) and the white wine was delicious. We are excited to go back tonight to try their epic-looking chocolate martinis; specifically, the chocolate covered strawberry!! This place is very popular (understandably so) so if crowds aren't your thing, consider going before their peak hours. They also have outdoor seating you can take advantage of and the staff will treat your right.

I absolutely LOVED Lulu's Chocolate Bar. I think these are the best dessert cocktails I've ever had. The flavors were fun, the drinks were well balanced, and they were not too sweet (huge!!). I had the coconut macaroon which tasted like a samosa. They use sipping chocolate in their drinks which make them rich and decadent without being sickly sweet. And their desserts! We got the creme brûlée trio and it was to die for. The basic one was my favorite but the chocolate one was a close second. The restaurant itself has fun decor and is located not far from Congress, so it's easy to walk to.

Another review for Lulu's. One night this week I had their pecan pie, which was good, but nothing really noteworthy. Another night I had their coconut rum cake. This had good flavor, yet it was super belly-bloating dense. My wife had the Keylime coconut pie and liked it, but didn't love it. Overall, they have a nice selection of desserts, but of the several I've tried here over the last couple months I've not found any that excited me enough to buy again.

Drink was decent, desserts were decent. Typical bar in a touristy area. Everything tastes fine but not made with TLC and more for the masses

Don't know what the raves are all about. It was just okay. The iced Americana coffee was tasteless. The chocolate desserts taste like they're premade (meaning not onsite). It was just so-so with a high price tag. Service was slow yet staff were friendly. Sitting outside may not have been the best choice given the amount of traffic.

Have been here multiple times over the years. We miss the old decor, but I understand the business trying to stay relevant and wanting to try new styles! Besides that they've kept their staples around like the Suspension Cake! They carry a variety of drinks, my personal favorite is the Peppermint Patty. The last I visited, I tried the Peanut Butter Jelly cake, and it tasted just like an uncrustable with peanut butter flavored frosting. You will not be disappointed coming here to get drinks or to wind down the night after dinner with a tasty dessert.

This place is amazing! The food and the drinks are great. I would come back to Savannah simply for this place. We ended up visiting both nights we were in Savannah because it was that good. Service was amazing and attentive, and the ambiance was great. I loved the music selection and I thought the drinks were reasonably priced. Everything was delicious!

Great for a late night dessert and drink. I had the mint martini and chocolate covered strawberry dessert. My husband had a chocolate raspberry martini and a piece of the pecan pie, warmed. It was soooo good. Great service.
