This antique shop is amazing and is the measure of all others for me now. Coffee shop is delicious. Best coffee I've had in quite a while. The antiques are many and great, albeit expensive at times. The candles make great gifts. Hand poured and quality waxes. I recommend a stop here to shop. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Google
The best antique store and coffee on long island. They have the perfect blend of everything you are looking for in an antique store and the new coffee shop inside makes an amazing lavender latte!

A Hidden Gem for Antique Lovers If you’re into unique and eclectic finds, Lumber + Salt is an absolute must-visit. This one-of-a-kind antique shop is packed with an ever-changing selection of random, fascinating treasures. Whether you’re hunting for colonial Victorian décor, rustic wood pieces, or interesting metals, there’s always something eye-catching to discover. What makes this place even more special is their charming coffee, tea, and juice bar. During the off-season, it’s open on weekends, and during peak summer, they serve drinks all week long. It’s such a delight to sip on a freshly brewed coffee while wandering through the store, taking in the blend of history and craftsmanship. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the area, Lumber + Salt offers a memorable experience for antique enthusiasts and casual browsers alike. This is definitely a place where you can lose track of time and maybe even find a piece of history to bring home. Highly recommended!

Google
The place is awesome! Kenneth was great. We were specifically looking for a fireplace mantel and he directed us to many options. One of them we knew instantly was exactly what we've been searching for! Cant wait to see it up!

Yelp
Such a great spot to stop on your way out east! Antique shopping and delicious coffee make the perfect combination. You can spend so much time looking through everything, there's something for everyone. They also have cute merch to buy. The baristas were very friendly and made my coffee so quickly. The bathrooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. I will definitely stop again here next time I'm heading out east.

Yelp
I live close by but in the last year they have increased the prices dramatically. Nice place to visit but overpriced.

Yelp
Love this whole concept you took two of my favorite things and put them together. Went there yesterday. Have to say the coffee is outrageous. All of us got different things and it was so good. Definitely going back. Picked up a few little items for the house while I was there great vibe peace out.

Yelp
Such a fantastic shop! You could wander around appreciating all the antiques. The owner seemed so helpful and funny. I came for the coffee and it's such a cool little hidden find. The vanilla basil latte was the best latte I've had in a while. The ladies I loved them! So helpful and sweet. Definitely a stop when I'm in town!

Yelp
Nice to browse when you are looking for something to do. But... it is completely and ridiculously overpriced. Could understand that type of pricing for some of the unique, hard to find items...But not for a few simple, metal baskets and picture frames that are pretty ordinary at best. You need one of their rusted out wheelbarrows to carry all your cash in to buy something...cause paying in cash is the only way you have any chance to get a discount there, and even that is laughable to call it a discount. Don't expect much of one. Also, I agree with other review that there is too much stuff outside, unprotected and becoming destroyed by the weather. Such a shame. Very disappointing. Two stars only for decent browsing activity / something to do but no stars for outrageous pricing.

Yelp
If you like reclaimed wood, doors, windows, furniture, coffee, what have you... then this is the place! The amount of stuff is amazing. The condition of the pieces range from very ruined to very bad to very good. This is more of a salvage yard than an antiques store. I bought an old ceramic planter covered in plastered sea shells. In my opinion - very cool. And the price was right. Nowadays nothing is cheap. The sellers are usually hoarders and it is hard for them to part with their stash. Truly one person's trash is another person's treasure. I've seen Lumber and Salt at Brimfield and some other shows but never ventured over to their stand. Now I am a regular at their shop - not just for the reclaimed stuff but because of the coffee. I have had some of the best shots of espresso there. In regards to the antiques - Service is what you would expect at a place spread out as much as this place. Once you find the owner, don't let him slip away otherwise you will need another thirty minutes to find him again.

Yelp
Such an amazing vibe for a coffee shop with a dark masculine energy. We loved it! Brought some friends over to drink lattes and browse through the selections, I would qualify it as more of an aesthetic coffee shop experience than a place you would thrift. Definitely a shop I could see doing really well in Manhattan so I'm glad we finally have something like this out east. The candles are also incredible, we loved the atmosphere.

Yelp
In reading other reviews I was surprised to even see 4 or above stars. I live relatively close to this place and stop by randomly. They do have a lot of cool pieces and it takes alot of weeding through. The little coffee shop inside is quant and the people who work there are very nice. My problem and reason for this review is I found out side a piece of wood. It was engraved. It was also very worn and cracked. I think I was (in this case) the only one who could see the possibilities. On the back was a worn out sticker that looked like a price of $45. It really was not worth that. I was willing to pay $10. The owner told me he was asking $100 -this piece that was buried in a bunch of worn cracked wood-outside, was from India and handcarved. I walked away quite angry that he thinks is customers are that gullable. Just wondering if this $100 piece of jagged worn wood is still sitting in the heap , outside with all the other broken down , cracked pieces of wood. Never trust or give your hard earned $$$ who must think you will believe anything! Scammer!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
They have some cool stuff but most of it's just sitting outside getting destroyed and the prices are a bit nuts. Not a bad place to check out though. Especially if you're looking for barn wood. They also have a lot of old doors but a lot of them are ruined from the rain.
