Lumbung Sari Hotel

Once again, I have nothing but the utmost praise for this charming, peaceful hotel, nestled in the heart of Ubud. The location is superb, in walking distance of all our favourite restaurants but it would be very easy to just lull around the pristine pool in the beautiful tropical garden. The rooms are spotless and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. Most divine, however, is the staff. There is something really special about the Lumbung Sari family. They are so welcoming and kind and always ready to help without being intrusive. Special mention must go to our man, Putu, on the front desk. There is nothing he won't do to ensure your stay in Ubud is first class. Legs too sore to walk to the massage parlour? Don't worry - he will bring them to you! What a treasure! We will keep returning to Ubud and of course, to this great hotel.

This hotel is located at Monkey forest road & walkable distance from Monkey forest on one side and Ubud Palace on other side. Monkey forest road is full of fashion boutiques, bike rentals, restaurants and spas.|There are two authentic Indonesian food restaurant nearly - Cafe Wayang & Bhumi Bali Restaurant. |Breakfast is limited but sufficient to fill stomach in the morning.|Front desk staff is very helpful in arranging travel at genuine price. We booked almost all sightseeing trips from them.

This is a wonderful,clean, safe, small hotel. A quiet oasis in the center of all the action!|From the moment you check in you feel welcomed|Juliana was very helpful.Always smiling and such a nice guy.|Putu went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.|He was incredibly helpful.|The first room I had was one of the originals. It was cute,clean and comfortable but had a bit of a musty smell (it is the end of rainy season so this can be expected...it is the tropics)|I am very sensitive to smells so Putu moved me into one of the newer rooms at the back and it was wonderful! HUGE bedroom and HUGE bathroom. The bathroom had one of the most comfortable tubs I've ever been in as well as a huge shower.|The bed was very comfortable, nice pillows and linens.|The pool and grounds were well maintained and everything was very clean.|The location was unbeatable. Walking distance to the markets, the Monkey Forest and close to great restaurants including Wayans |(fantastic food) and Starbucks if you are missing your lattes and want something familiar.|Putu also arranged a very reasonable transfer to Sanur for me and checked afterwards to make sure everything had been good.|Just great service all around.|If you want to venture further afield, they will book tours for you.|All in all it was a fantastic stay. Incredible if you consider that a hotel of this caliber (second room) would be 5-6 times more in Canada or the USA.|I can't wait to go back!

I stayed at Limburg Sari for 12 nights, checking in and booking on the day after leaving another hotel I was not comfortable in.|The staff were all lovely, safe and friendly atmosphere.|Very clean with lovely breakfast options.|Very good WiFi and they offer on the day laundry service too.|Location is also great, a short walk from the center or down to monkey forest. It felt like home from home and I would certainly stay again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. My room was large, clean, and beautifully decorated in traditional style, which added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance.The garden was very cute and well-maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a delightful and authentic experience. The hospitality and amenities exceeded my expectations!

Breakfast was also fast and nice although the restsurant is being rebuilt at the moment. |Its located in the centre of Ubud the but still nice and quiet with some fine reastaurants around.

Fantastic place! Wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms and grounds, intimate, family-friendly, authentic-feeling, great value, central but quiet. If/when I come back to Ubud I will definitely stay here again. The cafe in front is nice too. Positively recommend.

This small hotel is fantastic and location is great. We were given a free room upgrade which was much appreciated. It is clean, the breakfast is good, the staff are so cheerful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this hotel which is very close to the Monkey Forest.
