13 Ways to Celebrate Christmas in Florida

"A light festival at a Miami eco-adventure park that runs November to March and features more than 100 illuminated sculptures handmade from steel and silk, depicting tropical birds, flowers, and even an art-deco building homage to local architecture. The event is family-friendly and stroller- and wheelchair-accessible; weekends skew more grown-up with occasional acrobatic performances and a cocktail bar." - Skye Sherman Skye Sherman Skye Sherman is a travel writer based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Disappointed. There are a lot less lights than you think. Went to the 7pm show but was told to return at 9pm. At least we think that's what they said because no english speakers and he just held up 9 fingers and said bye 🤷‍♀️. $20 parking is absolutely ridiculous especially when the entire 2nd and ground floor reeks of garbage. Walking on one side to approach the Christmas Village you can see and smell the garbage filled dumpsters. There was one open snack stand and one open bar with overpriced drinks. Upside, saw an emu, wallerby and the cockatoos were entertaining. There was no crowd on a Monday. Honestly, not something I'll recommend as a main attraction but maybe a by the way, sideline activity. Not worth the cost.

It breaks my heart to see the animals at Luminosa in Miami trapped in tiny cages, isolated, stressed, and clearly depressed. No animal deserves to suffer like that. It's cruel, it's abusive, and it needs to stop. Please stop supporting this. They were voted last year to close down but apparently it's taking time or not happening. Please do not support cruelty it's not even worth it.

It's beautiful very nice to bring children and adults. the journey through the lights is not very long you have to go three different paths so you don't lose any of the decoration and lights. There's a show but it's not really good not wasting time on this one especially if you have kids. The parking it's fix rate at 20 $.

Nice walk at night. You can see some animals still awake during the night depending how early in the night you go. Very random themes all around, cute nonetheless. They take a picture and you can buy it in the shop. Disappointed they do not sell magnets.

It is an attractive display but felt overpriced. The advertised acrobatic show didn't happen. There is a lack of staff on site so no one to get any sensible information from. The drinks prices are frankly silly. It could be executed so much better. Apologies for the errant dog photo - can't see how to remove it!

A must see! Glad I was able to catch this beautiful Japanese lantern show while in Miami! Videos and photos do not do this experience justice. You have to experience it in person. The lanterns are larger than life! There were a few concession stands with different food and beverage options including wine and alcohol. Parking at the venue was $20. Entry price $ 33 at the door, 25% discount if you purchase online. Restrooms on site were not the cleanest, but they were available.

The overall experience was well worthwhile visually. A nice little entertaining Chinese acrobatic show was thrown in. Luminosa could have been less expensive to see. Parking fee should have been included in the entry fee. Misled by food court information. Only one food stand.Very limited choices. Pricey. The location far fron where I would have preferred to go. We went on a weekday so crowd was subdued. The exhibition itself far outweighed the cons. Go see it. You won't be disappointed..

Very nice and suggestive experience. It was me and my husband and for those who visit without children, the tour is definitely faster than what they suggest, in a little over an hour we saw everything. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because many of the lanterns were off I think due to technical problems. But overall, it was a nice experience that I recommend, especially if you have children.
