Reclining by canal, this place offers a peaceful relaxation. The room is clean and staffs are very assertive. The resort located about 7km from Amphawa market, but i am glad that i choose this spot especially after coming back from the super busy market. Food is great, the spicy mackerel salad is tasty and the breakfast line is beyond my expectation.

Nice salt water pool, good eggs benedict breakfast, beautiful koi fish, nice waterfall background noise, on the river view at breakfast, very clean and nice. Just great.

This hotel is beautiful and modern in a very quiet setting. The interior design and architecture are quite nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the paddleboats for the rivers around the rooms. Our children loved feeding the fish in the river. This hotel is quite far from town and we were lucky to be with friends who drove. The hotel felt very empty while we we there. The restaurant wasn't open very often and it would have felt more like a 5 star resort if there was a pool and a restaurant and bar that was open and welcoming.

My family and I had a road trip from Bangkok down to Phuket & Krabi. On the way back, we feel like stopping in Amphawa. After searching on the internet during our returning trip, we saw good reviews on Lumphawa Amphawa and chose to give it a try.||||It turned out to be better than what we thought. The service is fantastic. You won't feel like 5 stars hotel, but you will feel like visiting your best friend's house. The hotel is chic and modern in every way. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet as it's hide away from busy roads. The back of the hotel is located on the Maeklong river.||||If you don't travel with a car, the hotel have shuttle services to Amphawa's attractions. You have to pay extra for it though. If you are going to Amphawa, this is the place to stay. The owner is on site and will take a special care of you.

We have group meeting at this small chic hotel in October. The hotel was very nice and room had very high ceiling. Thai flower trees were next to our room and its blooming smell real nice. Each building had named after Thai flowers and its really made you happy.

The Lumphawa is a hidden gem of a hotel. We wanted a hotel for a 3 night stay near Amphawa so we could visit the weekend floating market. The hotel is modern, minimalist, clean and built in small blocks round a canal. The grounds are pretty with trees and shrubs and feature lighting.||Its location is similar to the backwaters of Kerala with palm trees and small boats passing by.||The owner is really helpful he organised a boat to take us to the market and stop on the return to see the fireflies that glow on the bank side trees. He also had to translate the menu for us as it only in Thai.||The food is cooked to order, good and reasonably priced. It was lovely to have breakfast outside beside a tree with a pair of kingfishers on a branch looking for their breakfast.||After the weekends it is very quiet unless they have a conference booked and there is not a lot going on around so we asked the owner to organise a tuc tuc to take us to the train market and visit a couple of temples.||For a peaceful, relaxing stay close to Amphawa it certainly delivers.
