Visiting Bangkok: My Suggested 3-5 Day Itinerary for 2025
"Lumpinee Boxing Stadium offers authentic fights (seatings up to about 5,000) on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and between Lumpinee and Rajadamnern you can usually find Muay Thai action every night; tickets start at around 1,500 THB." - Matthew Kepnes
Came here on a Saturday at 5 PM expecting a big fight. The staff even said it was a “big one” but the arena was about half empty. I also thought of getting wristband (like I’d seen in previous reviews) but nothing. The fights themselves were entertaining and the venue is clean and organized, but the atmosphere felt flatter than expected for this stadium. Prices aren’t cheap, so I was hoping for a bit more energy and a fuller crowd.
Worth checking out if you’ve never seen Muay Thai live, but I’d recommend coming when you know the event will truly be at capacity.

For a newer stadium it's okay. Fights were awesome. Energy is great but kind of a mediocre/poor layout.
Needs floor lighting, multiple people tripping throughout the events on black on black chair attachment to floor, quite dangerous. Concierges using flashlights the second someone gets up and guides them to the stairs, because they know this.
Small venue but fun experience. Great events but the stadium is not that good.

A unique experience in Bangkok, I have purchased the $1,030 THB CAT3 ticket. This option is conveniently located near the stadium, allowing me to fully enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. As a tourist, attending a Muay Thai match is an MUST try experience well worth my time.
The only thing is the transport is not convenient and no ideas how to go back to Bangkok main area by public transport.

Came on for a one friday fight night, bought tickets online. All staff were friendly and entrance was seamless. Free seating inside but all areas have a good view of the ring, no need to buy anything more than the cheapest category. Would recommend for any combat sport fans!
Takes about 1.5h to get there from bangkok city although you could come in later as early fight cards are mostly debutants. There are food trucks and a snacks/drinks kiosk outside the stadium.

We watched multiple times of Muay Thai fights in this stadium. It is not as fancy as the other stadium, but it has the ambience of a sporty venue. The bleachers were clean, the staff spoke English very well. The lights were great and the sound wasn't very loud but just fine.

Had a blast! Amazing experience. Paid for seats in the CAT 1 area (SEATS 9 and 10).
Although the view was great, WAY TOO MANY people kept walking in front of us as the seats are located in a main walk-way. So it was hard to record any good footage and honestly became very frustrating. Next time, we will consider cheaper seats now that we know how the stadium is set up.
Overall 10/10 experience.

This is my first time to watching Thai boxing in stadium. I am very impressed with all the boxers, mc, organizers and fans.

Great venue. You can see the action no matter where you sit. Food carts outside.. and they are good value. Just bring trousers and a hood because the air conditioning works over time here. Gets very cold. Well worth a visit. BE CAREFUL IF YOU BRING A LARGE CAMERA HERE... security will tell you off. Even though there is 100 other people live streaming on their phones and taking pictures. Seem to have a problem with "professional" looking cameras however big or small.
