"Forget the thatched-roof villas and beachfront chains that define the Bali hotel scene. Luna2 is such a departure, guests might feel like they’ve landed in outer space. Founder and designer Melanie Hall took cues from modernism and 1960s pop art to outfit the white-walled spaces in stainless steel, acrylic, vintage wallpapers, and the colors of a Rubik’s Cube. Carpeting and fabrics were custom-designed by Hall and predominantly produced in Jakarta, but pieces by venerable European designers are also on display, from Cassina dining chairs by Philippe Starck to pendant lights by Tom Dixon. Cheeky works by British artist Stuart McAlpine, L.A.’s Burton Morris, and Indonesia’s Triyadi grace the walls. The futuristic slant continues in a rooftop bar called Space, a restaurant with bubble windows called Orbit, and the modular furnishings and mirrored spheres scattered throughout the property. There’s even a groovy 16-seat cinema where guests can watch new releases or nostalgic classics while enjoying popcorn-infused cocktails and foie gras “bling dogs.” It’s another world indeed."

Really nice and unique concept hotel! Love the pop art, futuristic, and bright colors of the interior around the hotel. Studio room is spacious, full amenities in which you can't even imagine. There are 3 TV inside the room, bathtub with TV, what more can you ask 👌 Complete with mini kitchen and cooking tools. They also have movie room which showing top movies everyday. Really full experience. 10 mins walking distance to the beach although the location of this hotel is quiet far from the main road

Wow, this place is as beautiful as the photos look! The location is brilliant, really close to the beach and about 15 minutes from the party strip which means you can get a good night's sleep but still walk to more lively bars. If you are traveling solo you may want to use the taxis to get around at night. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are really clean too (they clean them twice a day!) Have breakfast on the rooftop if you can - the food is delicious!

Omg.... I've never found hotel like Luna2. Amazing, this hotel is very clean and every corner of this hotel have unique design and ornament. The staff are very helpful and friendly, she always jokes with my baby. About breakfast, I really like bread with avocado topping. In each room there is a coffee machine. Hope next holiday will be back.

Amazing stay. Right next to the beach and also has a nice swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and retro yet modern. Great amenities on site including a rooftop bar which is great for watching sunset. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Everything you need and such a bargain for the price.

This modern hotel is chic, colourful and lots of fun. They serve a delicious afternoon tea with perfect sunset view over the sea. The service is excellent and takes you into comic universe. A lovely unique hotel of its kind!

Fantastic pool. Refreshing decor. Decent breakfast. Short walk to the beach. Free shuttle that takes you to hotspots nearby. Biggest gripe is the the entrance to the rooms has an outdoor louver that lets in hot air in the mornings and tiny lizards in the night. The rooms themselves are free of heat and reptiles though!

It's unique, it's private. The atmosphere is just different, not like any other place in Bali. Rooms are great - spacious, clean, nicely decorated. They have huge pool, a private club, private cinema and roof top bar. Awesome!

What a cool, hip boutique hotel! I booked a Romantic Getaway room type even though I travelled solo and it was just perfect! Luxurious pampering from start to finish! Rose pedal bath, delicious cake (gluten free, very much appreciated!!), private picnic at the beach.. Hard to believe I was in Seminyak, it was so peaceful and of course, the beach and its incredible sunsets are right there, 1 min walk from the hotel!
