I went to Lunar Coffee on a whim today and when I walked in I immediately wish I had time sit there and relax. The music was nice, the people inside were relaxed and Kat instantly came out with a smile and warm greeting. Almost $6 for an 8oz cappuccino was a surprise, but I enjoyed it. I will return one day.

Crowded on weekends so good luck finding an empty seat. I like that their coffee is not too sweet. 4 stars because you couldn't really taste the pandan flavor in their pandan latte. I also ordered sesame latte. It was just okay. Overall, their coffees are good because of their unique flavors but not really something I would crave.

Ever since I found out about Lunar Coffee, I have been going literally every morning. The shop itself is gorgeous, minimalist but very cozy. The staff there are also incredibly friendly! I’m sure their coffee is amazing, but their Matcha Lattes are just fantastic! Give them a try! You won’t regret it!

It's a minimalist coffee shop. The vibe is great here. I got Ube Latte and really enjoyed it. While I was at there, I saw several customers order Strawberry Matcha Latte, the drinks came out really pretty. I'll give it a try next time.

I came here this morning to do some homework on my laptop and the service here was very good. I didn’t know what to get because they have a variety of options that are unique and the guy working explained each one and chose one for me based on my preference and the drink he chose was the Miso Caramel Latte, which was very good. Would definitely come back.

Lunar Coffee has been a wonderful place for me to visit and enjoy before work between when my partner can drop me off and then I start my shifts. The staff is always so welcoming and the food/drinks always are delicious. Coming here every week has been a relaxing way to start my morning and I am so happy to have a safe place to be in the morning ❤️!

One of the best strawberry matcha lattes I've ever had. Thank you to Tiktok for this gem. I was in Tampa and needed my matcha fix, and read the Yelp reviews in addition to the Tiktok comments - which I knew I needed to stop into Lunar Coffee. It's located in a plaza but you do have to look for it because I drove past it when trying to locate it on my GPS. This shop is quaint and cozy, but for a Saturday afternoon it was pretty busy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wanted to order the ube cloud matcha latte, however when I watched the video reviews on Tiktok; everyone raved about their strawberry matcha latte. I ordered the latte with oat milk and it came out to $7.75 with tax. I loved that you can watch them whisk the matcha, which they use organic ceremonial grade as well. I was so excited to try it once I saw the presentation of the drink. It was so pretty! The first sip had me in a chokehold. It was perfectly sweetened and the freshness of the strawberry puree was amazing. The puree is also house made - not the fake stuff! This was refreshing pick me up for a warm September day. I highly enjoyed this matcha latte and look forward to stopping back by to Lunar Coffee whenever I am in the Temple Terrace area.

Interesting drinks in an aesthetically pleasing environment! I've enjoyed various matcha drinks from here previously including strawberry and ube. Their matcha is very traditional and you definitely need to ask for sweetener if you want it. I prefer the ube drinks from Sorbo because they are sweeter. I truly enjoyed the sweet corn latte, which was something I'd never tried previously. The interior is modern yet inviting with tables of various sizes to set up shop for work, or just hangout. Prices are average for a coffee shop of this caliber.

This place was cute, super tucked away and semi hard to find. If it wasn't on my GPS I may have never seen it. It's a nice shop though, pretty small but super busy. So busy that after I ordered I went outside to wait because there was essentially no where to comfortably stand. I love that they're busy though, that means people know they're there. I ordered an ube latte with oat milk. It was good, could've been a little sweeter but I'm not complaining. I was very much in need of coffee and it hit the spot.

So good that it's always packed here. I cry just because I really like studying here, and I wish there were more seats. The vibes are great, the drinks are great, the decor is peaceful, and the music is not too loud, which is great for getting some work done. I guess a lot of people agree with me because the cafe is always full of patrons. Come early if you want a seat! I recommend the pumpkin chai (which is seasonal) or the matcha strawberry latte. You can adjust the sweetness, and I think doing 50% sweetness is good.

Oh my God, I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I did a little Google researching and came across the spot. It's in a little funky area. The shopping center has a lot of of Middle Eastern options which is kind of cool. The coffee shop is in the corner. Parking was really hard. It was super full and I went on a weekday. Once I got into the coffee shop. There was literally one seat left just for me at the bar top. It seems that everybody comes here to work, which is super cool and it's a great community if you need to get stuff done. But people were literally waiting outside for 20 minutes before somebody left so they could come sit down. I tried their cappuccino and asked him to put condensed milk in there to make a Spanish latte and it was phenomenal! I will literally be back next week to have some coffee and work from my computer a little bit, hopefully they won't be as busy. The people who work there are super kind and super nice anything you ask for they will bring it over to you with a smile. Try their chocolate chip cookies warmed up they are great! As well as their spinach danish warmed up. It's really good.

The service here is excellent! They bring your drinks to you. I love their seasonal drinks like the Korean corn latte. I tried the Hochija iced latte this time and it was perfectly sweetened with simple syrup. My friend had the Vietnamese coffee, which was very strong but not as creamy as a true cafe sua da would be. The coffee itself had great flavor. I also had the miso brown butter cookie, omg it was delicious!!! There is ample seating here with outlets and the place is super clean. The barista takes care to wipe down surfaces after customers leave. Such a good spot for the USF area. Lots of parking in front and is in a big plaza.

Bonjour my lovely people !! If you're in the area and looking for a great coffee/drink spot look no further than lunar coffee. From specialty ube drinks to anything you can think of they got it here. I ordered the garlic butter croissant and it was exceptional , it had a good amount of butter inside and was the perfect mix of sweet/savory. As for the ambiance it's fairly spacious and energizing. A great place to study and get work done

I have been on a matcha kick lately and had to try Lunar Coffee from all the great things I've been hearing about it lately. As a matcha AND ube lover, it only made sense to get the drink that combines the two. I can't begin to explain how good this was! Lunar Coffee is a tiny but cozy spot. I went in the middle of the week and it was full of people yet it wasn't loud at all. The service was quick and friendly. The matcha was flavor itself was delicious. The drink overall wasn't too sweet & perfectly balanced. I would highly recommend. I also got a matcha cookie and it was AMAZING! I ate it too quickly to take a picture.

I love it! I pretty much felt that right away when we walked into this modern & chill atmosphere. The menus are on full display at the ordering counter. There is a seasonal menu as well. There are pastries and other treats in full view as you're deciding on what type of coffee or tea brew to order. The Black Sesame Rice Krispies were too tempting to pass up. They were sitting there on the counter begging me to buy them. What else was I supposed to do? You place your order at the counter, and they bring it out to your table when it's ready. Our barista was wonderful. She had quite a few people there, but seemed to handle the flow very well. There were a few students or remote workers using their Wi-Fi during the morning hours. I'm not sure if it's this quiet later in the day. It was very relaxing, as well as the soft music. The Black Sesame Latte was amazing! I love that they use unique house-made syrups in their signature drinks. They have other Asian inspired flavors, but I'd never had black sesame with espresso. It really does go well together. There was even some sweet black sesame grinds at the bottom of the cup. It's definitely a good choice for lovers of espresso based drinks. Their coffee beans come from a Brooklyn based coffee roaster named Parlor Coffee. I could taste the quality of the coffee in this cup. The sesame didn't overpower it. My friend let me sample her Korean Sweet Corn Latte. This one was iced and had a smooth cold brew feel to it. I think it was the sweet vanilla corn foam or the condensed milk that made it so creamy. It was very good. Perfect for those who like sweeter drinks. It even had a little corn nut topping. I had the Black Sesame Rice Krispie treat the following day with coffee. It felt like the same great experience all over again. I'm now loving black sesame in baked goods. If you love sesame candies (like me), then you'll love this. Honestly, I can't wait to go back to try other signature and seasonal flavors. There's a rose matcha tea that I'd love to try. I also meant to get the ube mochi brownie, but that didn't happen. The rice krispie treat threw me for a loop. There's also a miso brown butter chocolate chip cookie that I want to try next time.

Nothing better than checking out a new to me coffee shop with a wonderful friend. This is the coffee shop we picked to go to. I love the Asian influence options here. I always want to find the most unique flavor offerings, & options you can't find just anywhere. This is that place. I had a Korean Sweet Corn Latte and my friend had a Black Sesame Latte. The barista assisting us was very friendly and helpful. I asked about other drinks like the pandan coconut, and ube coconut drink. This one was perfect for me. This location is very quiet. I have a quiet voice as it is(that's what people say) and I felt like I was so loud here. I didn't like that aspect. I felt like I had to whisper and I hadn't seen my friend in forever. But I do love the vibe here and it's nice and chill and there's some people on their laptops and people have their drinks and snacks. This is def a great option that is different than every other coffee shop. Check them out! They just opened in November '23. Clean, chill spot, great service, great unique drinks!

Yall I LOVEEE Lunar. It's an Asian inspired coffee shop and they're always switching up the flavors!! It's such a cute vibe in here to get some work done or read a book. Jenny the owner is incredibly sweet and makes every drink with love. 10/10 would recommend!! :D

Excellent coffee shop!! So many different latte choices with house made syrups. Very fun flavors also . Sesame latte was very nicely balanced. Pandan coconut latte was one of the better ones I have had anywhere. Hoping to make it back for a sweet corn latte. FYI lots of space to study and hang out. Plenty of parking. Worker was super nice explaining flavors etc

This is not my first time at Lunar Coffee. I am not sure if it because we ordered to-go or not but the drinks were less tasty compared to when I had it in store. Especially in the Ube Latte, which I can't taste the Ube at all. It was fully packed even on a weekday with USF students, which makes sense I guess. It is a cute Asian-inspired cafe with limited seatings. The menu is creative and sounds good. But this time, their drinks fell short for me... hopefully other drinks taste better

What a marvelous little coffee shop. I had a decaf latte with lactaid. Very good. Also had a great conversation with the barista and enjoyed the fact that they have lactaid. It's a very clean place and has an upscale feel, but also a warm inviting feel. Much better than the corporate "industrial " feel of the big chains. Highly recommended!

I love this place to come and study at. The ambiance is very chill and lively with college students! Service is also amazing, the owner is super sweet! This is my favorite coffee shop to do work at. The food/ snacks are also very delicious! I tried the miso cookie as well as the black sesame rice krispy treat which was AMAZING!!

the best matcha in the entire area of tampa. cups are small so be aware, but the quality is worth it over the large portion. The baristas are also super friendly and i love the seasonal/specialty drinks. If you like coffee, the ube latte or if in season the "in memory of viv" are two amazing choices! Great place to do some studying as it is fairly quiet most of the times i go.

I want to gatekeep sooo badly but I shan't. This is one of my favorite cafes in the Tampa area. It's quiet, quaint, and has the best drinks in town. It's a good place to have a little chat, study, or do some work. I love how they incorporated Asian flavors into their drinks using things like pandan and ube. The baristas are super nice and helpful if you have any questions. I will be coming back many many many more times!

TLDR: The staff here is exceptionally cold and callous, but the coffee is pretty good with creative and fun options that you'd find in Tokyo or Seoul. The inside is cute, but very small and tight, and people can hear each other talk from the front to the back. Service: I've had at least 10 coffees from this spot in the last month, and the staff here is so extremely unfriendly - I left crying this last time. I came by today for a to-go latte after my dad's funeral with my dad's small papillon, and they said dogs were not allowed in an extremely rude, cold, and callous way. I didn't notice a "no dogs" sign outside (which is my bad, but I'm really overwhelmed from everything going on), but when I went back outside, I saw they have a poorly drawn black and white figure of what appears to be a dog with a line across it (you can see it in the photo I posted). They should put up a clear sign so people don't make the same mistake as me. If I had known, I wouldn't have come, but the point is that she didn't have to be SO rude and mean, especially after she knew what a difficult time this was for me. After she said that, I had quickly stated I only had the dog because my dad just died and I'm watching his dog now so she understood the context - and she couldn't have cared less or been meaner - she didn't even look and me, said nothing, and looked like she rolled her eyes. It was hot outside so I couldn't have left the dog in the car, my dads house is being fixed/cleaned up right now so I can't leave him at home, and it was also for a to-go drink. I've been coming here almost daily (without the dog) for the past couple of weeks, and I even started convincing family that lives nearby to come here too. I had even told family that getting coffee daily here had been the highlight of my day since my dad passed. However, I'm totally done coming here because I'm not supporting such mean people. Coffee: Coffee is good, but not extraordinary. I really like the fact that they have some creative drinks and fun syrup options similar to what you'd find in Tokyo or Seoul. Location: I like this plaza as a location and the decor of their place - it looks like coffee shops in Tokyo or Seoul with the natural wood furniture and flooring. I had actually wanted to support them because it felt like they were intentionally bringing that culture and vibe to Tampa, which I liked a lot.

barista was very polite and gave quick service. I ordered the sesame latte- it was perfect- I can taste the sesame but not over powering. Perfectly balanced with the espresso. I order the feta spinach pastry- very good.

It was my first time coming to Lunar Coffee, and I am for sure coming back when I visit Tampa again. The cafe is Asian owned and woman owned, so it was definitely awesome to go support! I came here because I was working remote that day, and the ambience was really nice and relaxing. One of the best things about the shop is that they really curate their menu. They have a lot of international beans and coffee from Honduras to Kenya. They also have really nice desserts. I got the Ube Brownie, and I loved it (especially since I'm picky with my ube). I also think that the prices were reasonable for very high quality drinks. Also, the service is really great! Shoutout to Vivian, who was our cashier. She was very knowledgeable of all the items in the menu. Hands down a good experience overall.

Absolutely loved Lunar Coffee! I have been there twice now. As soon as you walk in, there is an immediate sense of calmness. It is very clean and sparsely decorated, but in the most tasteful way. It is extremely zen and brings such an aura of peace in there. The baristas have been lovely too, and very helpful in picking out a drink. I have tried the miso caramel latter and the Pandan coconut latte. They were both delicious and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I don't like when flavor overpowers the coffee taste, and these lattes hit the perfect sweet spot for this. Loved them! It's also nice that they bring the drinks out to your table in glassware. I love hanging out here for a few hours to study and get some work done. Cannot wait to go back and try some more!

Lunar Coffee was AMAZING! the atmosphere of the cafe were calm, inviting, and minimalistic. I heard great things about their matcha and I wasn't disappointed - I mean look at how rich and green it looks! The matcha tasted smooth and the only thing I would say is that I wish it was a little bit more sweet. Other than that, amazing cafe 10/10

I love coming in for working remotely. The vibes are always so peaceful and soothing. The service is great. Parking is free and they have PLENTY of it. The coffee tastes amazing. Try their strawberry mocha. You won't be disappointed.

Tampa has more than enough "coffee Shops," but this place stands out. It's truly a little gem with a calm vibe. I work remote and love bringing my laptop to catch up on things while drinking their amazing lattes!! It's a pretty small cafe, so a few small tables with one large community table in the back. Not too noisy so that's always a plus. I've tried the croissant and strawberry matcha latte, BOTH were delicious. The young ladies working there are always so kind and helpful :) 10/10 cafe for sure!!

Best Cortado in Tampa! It was a delight to have a quality coffee and a serene environment. The service was superb. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait for a table. But Lunar Coffee is definitely worth the wait.

Cool new coffee shop in Temple Terrace just minutes from USF. They have pour overs, lattes, and my favorite: espresso tonics. It's new and still growing. There's a good amount of seating and Wi-Fi which is cool for students. Plenty of parking in front. Recommend!

A new favorite coffee shop of mine! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly crowds, and of course, great coffee and selection of drinks! The barista was very kind, and welcoming. I enjoyed the earl grey latte that was on their spring menu, and definitely recommend! I can't wait to come back!

Imagine being 8 months pregnant and trying to cross your legs at a cafe table? Lol just a random thought as I write this review meanwhile sitting in their cafe. I crossed paths with Lunar Coffee after searching for a nice coffee shop to sit down and read my book. For those that find it hard to focus at a coffee shop, this place might be a great place for you to do homework or read a book, or even come here with classmates as there is a community table in the back. Crowd is 20s-30s, and the music is classical music. So, truthfully, I was looking for a korean type of coffee shop, as I was craving a kind of nutritious earthy flavored warm drink, and I found many pictures of the kind of drink I wanted on Yelp! But apparently that was a seasonal menu in the past. To the owner, please add it back because I am a caffeine drink junkie and I promise I will only order from that menu if offered! Anyway, I tried their seasonal drink bourbon barrel aged maple latte. It was good, and the milk was frothy, and CREAMY. That was the best part See the video so you know what I mean. Their garlic cheese croissant was also pretty delicious, as they serve it warm! I would come back to this place, and am so happy I got to experience it!!

So, I dropped by Lunar Coffee while running errands in Temple Terrace. The menu is just the right length - not too many options. This coffee bar and tea shop provide a few unique beverages. I ordered a hojicha latte. Hojicha is made primarily Japan. Green tea leaves are taken through a roasting process altering the leaf colour tints from green to reddish-brown. The result is a tea power with rich-nutty flavor. My order was being neatly prepared by a friendly barista. While waiting for my latte I noticed a few people in the shop. It seems as if the cafe is on its way to beta community hub. And, I could see why. The cafe's footprint provided a few tables and chairs. It had a warm feel, inviting even. I don't recall if there was music playing. If there was, I would imagine Moon Child or Alex Isley playing in the background. I stepped outside to make a call and when I returned, a hot cup of hojicha latte was waiting for me. The barista asked me to taste for sweetness. I took a sip. Then, I smiled at her and said, "this is good".

Excellent Pandan Latte stumbled upon this coffee shop and definitely surprised me - great service, beautiful interior and excellent coffee. Will come again!

Delicious coffees and teas (the strawberry matcha latte is a favorite of mine) and excellent service. The minimalist design and natural light make it a nice place to study or read. Word has clearly gotten out about what a wonderful place it is to work, so it can become very crowded with college students. Even if it is crowded when you show up, I would still recommend ordering your drink to go, the service is relatively quick.

Lunar has become my favorite coffee shop. Located near USF, it offers a variety of perfectly brewed coffee/tea at very reasonable prices. Unlike other places, Lunar is clean, relaxing, and never crowded -- ideal for studying alone or with others. I highly recommend it!

Such a cute, modern, minimalistic, coffee shop. Perfect to do some work in a quiet place. Great prices , quality coffee beans and had some danish and sweet treat options. I got the summer time Korean corn foam latte and it was so yummy and unique! Will be back. Always great to support local business rather than your standard Starbucks.

This coffee shop is so cute. I came here to meet up with a friend and it was quiet because people were working/studying. They had a counter area and bunch of small tables and a big table in the back. It's a great atmosphere to either chat with friends or study. I ordered the cappuccino and it was good, I love the coffee art the barista drew and they were pretty quick. The aesthetic was simple, clean and minimalist, each dish/ drink had specific cup/plate. They also offer pastries but I didn't order them. I will definitely come back.

Cute little coffee shop! I loved the strawberry matcha and that there are milk alternative options. The pastries looked good as well, I will try it at a later time. Overall the coffee shop was quiet and could be conducive to a good productive environment however when I went there was a loud group of girls fluent in yap-anese (they were talking/laughing loudly) not being aware of their quiet surroundings but nothing to do with the business!

This is another great coffee shop in the Tampa Bay Area. This shop specializes in Asian inspired coffees and teas. We sampled quite a few drinks: the strawberry and chocolate milk, the ube coconut latte and their seasonal latte which was a mocha mint. We also tried the miso brown butter chocolate chip cookie and the spinach feta danish. Everything was great. The coffee was wonderful. The server at the counter was also super helpful with suggestions and checking items for potential allergens. The ambiance is very simple but inviting. It was a bit packed, but for good reason. We were able to fine a nice spot in the back of the restaurant. This is a great place to grab a drink and a baked good and catch up with friends or do some work. Can't wait to go back and try another drink!

I am in love with this cafe, the drinks are Elite. There is so much love put into this cafe, into the drinks, and into the service. One unforgettable experience was when I came to the cafe for the third time and I forgot what I ordered the last time. The barista/owner told me exactly what I ordered, it showed me that she pays attention to her customers. I was really surprised and promised myself to keep coming to this cafe not only because of the great service and environment, but also because the drinks are absolutely delicious.

Had a very delicious latte here the other day. It was a vanilla lavender latte with oat milk and the espresso has such a distinct flavor. You can tell how good the quality is. They also have pastries which though pricy, were quite good.

I ordered a spinach and feta pastry with a shakerato and toasted caramel syrup that was made quickly, everything was delightful! I will definitely be coming back!
