Interesting exhibit. Amazing venue. Free of charge.

Small museum with some modern art. Bonus points for being free of charge. However, the current exhibition consisted of a collection of (what felt like) random videos and pictures put together. The art did convey the message on its own and it was therefore nessesary to read the guide along the way. Many of the videos felt like regular documentaries. I did not leave the museum in awe or with food for thought.

We visited this little art museum last Thursday when it's open late. There was parking available 50 m away and entrance is free. I came here for the first time when the museum was inaugurated in 1957 and has since been back numerous times but not since the 1970-ies. What is the most impressive is that it has aged so well with its original features still on display. This summer the museum shows a retrospective of the Swedish artist Anna Ling from Gothenburg, presently living in Malmö. We found the exhibition extremely interesting and well curated. One of the more remarkable things we experienced was to be there all alone for almost two hours and the discussions we had with the very competent staff.

Like this place! Free admission. Free books about different and past exhibitions. You can watch modern art, strange installation, and some interesting things. Reception is very welcome. You can sit in little cafe on second floor and fika;)

Konsthall Lund is a place of modern art. Entrance is usually free, and the changing exhibitions are of international standard. Besides enjoying the art, there are places inside where you can sit and read, and lots of books and magazines on art available. Well worth a visit! The staff is very friendly, too. It’s a little small and lacks a proper café, but there are plenty of places to have a coffee in the nearby area. Due to its size one can easily do two or 3 things in a day. Storage space for smaller bags & coats, and neat toilets available.

We visited en exhibition called "We had a dream", by Albert Wiking, very good photography exhibits of different known & unknown people from all walks of life from around the world, with their respective life stories, dreams, works & accomplishments. Highly recommendable. Traveling exhibition. So watch for it when it comes near your place. Lund Art Hall is well located in Mårtenstorget. It is very modern & well lighted due to plenty of glasswall.
