Lunenburg Oceanview Chalets

What a wonderful place! We rented cottage #1 for two nights. It is a beautiful cottage. Clean!! Comfortable!! Cozy!! The woodstove was a blessing on a chilly night. There's a BBQ and a fully stocked kitchen. Lots of coffee and tea too. Your hosts thought of everything. It's self check in, and easy to do. The views are astonishing and the night sky is beautiful. When family from England come to visit us next year, we'll definitely book again if there's availability. You won't regret staying here. Trust us!

This was our third visit here and, as usual, the accommodations were great. Nicely laid out cabin. We had a one bedroom with additional pull-out sofa (which we didn’t need) in the living room area. Well stocked kitchen area with table and chairs as well as a large bathroom. The bathroom was also well stocked with towels, bathmat, hair dryer, soaps and shampoo. Very clean throughout, and efficient check-in with lock box near front door. The view is great and what a treat to have an osprey nest with fledglings returning daily right in front of the cabin, not to mention the deer. We will be returning.

What a great time we had! These cabins were perfect for our family gathering. We had rented three and all three were very clean, and had everything we needed and if we did need something, Clive was right there to get it for us. It’s a beautiful location overlooking the back harbour of Lunenburg. Even though Nova Scotia was having a heat wave the cabins were cool in the evening and very comfortable for sleeping. Would I recommend these? Absolutely!!! I give these a five star review for sure. Thank you for a great time.

We found the listing through the Chamber of Commerce. The location is very convenient as it is very within walking distance to the downtown of Lunenburg but far enough to enjoy a serene evening looking at the stars. The amenities are top notch. The host is cordial and ready to help. The cottage is well equipped. All in all its a great place to use as a base to do your exploring of the region of Lunenburg.

We spent a night here. It was very peaceful and the cottage was well equipped. The main bed was good but we had an adult using the pullout bed and it wasn't that comfortable due to a skinny mattress. We enjoyed our stay and the views though. It was self check-in so we never met the owners but I'm sure they'd be there if we needed something.

This was our first visit to Lunenburg and to the Lunenburg Oceanview Chalets, and was the perfect place for us to enjoy the area. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and had a wonderful view of the water. If we come back again to the area, we would certainly stay here!

In June we had a great vacation. The rooms and the chalet were very clean. So excited seeing deer!! There was plenty of firewood and the Woodstove was so nice to have. Little chilly at night. We have to say, the owner went above and beyond for us. My husband left a couple of dress shirts in the closet and we were already on the ferry back. The owner contacted us and they mailed the shirts back. I know this took alot of time out of there schedule and we really appreciate everything thing they did. I know also, our good friends had a great time. Definitely worth the trip and anyone who stays there will be very happy. Thank you!

Cabin was very well equipped. Spotless inside and out. Basil was here when we arrived and greeted us with 13 of his closest 'deer' friends. Would definitely come back, highly recommend these cabins. 1.5 minutes from town of Lunenburg, and short drive to Mahone Bay the Ovens and more.
