Lunenburg Oceanview Chalets

What a great time we had! These cabins were perfect for our family gathering. We had rented three and all three were very clean, and had everything we needed and if we did need something, Clive was right there to get it for us. It’s a beautiful location overlooking the back harbour of Lunenburg. Even though Nova Scotia was having a heat wave the cabins were cool in the evening and very comfortable for sleeping. Would I recommend these? Absolutely!!! I give these a five star review for sure. Thank you for a great time.

This was our third visit here and, as usual, the accommodations were great. Nicely laid out cabin. We had a one bedroom with additional pull-out sofa (which we didn’t need) in the living room area. Well stocked kitchen area with table and chairs as well as a large bathroom. The bathroom was also well stocked with towels, bathmat, hair dryer, soaps and shampoo. Very clean throughout, and efficient check-in with lock box near front door. The view is great and what a treat to have an osprey nest with fledglings returning daily right in front of the cabin, not to mention the deer. We will be returning.

Awesome cottage! Absolutely love it. Dying to come back and stay even longer. Would love to live in it. Well-stocked, really nice inside, amazing toilet and tub, bed... Excellent location and scenery. Love everything about it!

We spent a night here. It was very peaceful and the cottage was well equipped. The main bed was good but we had an adult using the pullout bed and it wasn't that comfortable due to a skinny mattress. We enjoyed our stay and the views though. It was self check-in so we never met the owners but I'm sure they'd be there if we needed something.

Loved the little chalet #2 and wished I had booked more time to stay here. Beautiful cottage style chalet with a small kitchen, table for four, living room with a small tv and wood stove, nice queen bed and a large bathroom you could dance in. What I really loved was the outdoor space. You'll find a few more cottages on site with a large shared outdoor space with an outdoor table for each cottage and a fun little park area for the kids. Great for pet friendly stays. You might get to see deer during your stay, but you'll definitely see a great view. We met with Craig as soon as we arrived and we were happy to have someone with so much enthusiasm greet us. We felt taken care of and couldn't wait to explore Lunenburg. Book you stay soon, you honestly won't regret it. With much love from Ontario, we cannot wait to go back.

This is a lovely cottage! Very, very clean, well-stocked two bedroom which had a nice sized living area and also pet friendly (grassy expanse out front). Being just 1km from downtown Lunenburg provided a calm and peaceful setting—complete with deer with their fawn roaming the property. I would highly recommend this cottage!

In June we had a great vacation. The rooms and the chalet were very clean. So excited seeing deer!! There was plenty of firewood and the Woodstove was so nice to have. Little chilly at night. We have to say, the owner went above and beyond for us. My husband left a couple of dress shirts in the closet and we were already on the ferry back. The owner contacted us and they mailed the shirts back. I know this took alot of time out of there schedule and we really appreciate everything thing they did. I know also, our good friends had a great time. Definitely worth the trip and anyone who stays there will be very happy. Thank you!

The Lunenburg Oceanview Chalets provided us with an impeccable stay during our recent family visit to Nova Scotia. The cabin was immaculately clean and very comfortable, with commanding views of the hillside, replete with flowering trees and beyond, the ocean. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed to check in and make ourselves at home. The chalets are very peaceful and serene, with the village of Lunenburg only 4 minutes away by car. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Lunenburg.
