An impressive architectural monument in the far north of Vietnam. Of course, it attracts thousands of tourists, but since I was already there at 8:30 a.m., the crowds were still manageable, and I was able to climb the tower without any problems. I was even allowed to attend the opening ceremony by the state officials. Before entering the platform, there is an official speech by a uniformed, distinguished state official, followed by the playing of the national anthem, which is very moving. Due to the early hour, there were no problems climbing the tower and enjoying the great view. It may be helpful to study the history of the Flangturm in your own language beforehand. In any case, this is a unique sight. The journey there alone is not only an adventure, but also very impressive. It is best to arrive very early to avoid the crowds of tourists.

Big red flag!!! ;) Climb up the stairs wasn’t too difficult, great view from the top. Can just about see China too! You can climb right to top where the flag pole is.

Amazing scenery with a great view of China and Vietnam. Its got toilets and shops if a drink is needed. Visiting is so worth it if you want one of the best views. Just be warned that there are quite a few steps to get up to the top.

One of the most majestic places I have ever been. The road to get there is like a snake. Besides, there are toilets and shops for tourists. 🤩🤩
I am proud to be Vietnamese and I like to climb to the top of Lung Cu Flag Tower because I can see the whole ground below and communicate with foreigners who come there 😁😁

Lung Cu Flag Point is slightly off the main route, but it is absolutely worth the detour. The journey itself offers stunning scenic views, making the drive enjoyable and memorable. Once you arrive, you have two options to reach the flag tower, either climb the steps or take a buggy ride for just 30,000 VND. I choose to climb the steps and enjoy the scenic. The panoramic views of northern Vietnam are truly beautiful. It's definitely a must-visit spot.
