There are some aggressive sales staff employed by some shops who followed you inside and tried persistently to persuade you to visit their shops and become their customers, especially if you take their business cards handed to you by those staff or respond to them

Can get tasty roast pork and cheap goods here. Be sure to bargain before buying.

Super!!! The Louhu Commercial City never dies. Location, location, location! It is a vibrant and enduring hub of commerce. Its prime location continues to drive its success and relevance in the ever-evolving market landscape. While it may not serve as a crystal ball, it certainly reflects the current lucrative industries. Presently, it has established itself as a center for eyewear, dental services, and barbecued meat offerings, showcasing a diverse range of business opportunities.

Boot leg, counterfeit, fake, copies. Call it what you will this is one place to get them. Located near the Hong Kong and China border. Not many speak English and Western style toilet are non exsistant this goes for most places in China (flushing swatting variety of toilets only!) If youre going to do a number 2 and if youre a female look out.

If you are in the market for curtains, I can recommend Candy’s Bedding on the fifth floor (Shop 100A & 89A) at Luohu Shopping Centre. Have ordered curtains from Candy for nearly my entire apartment now and am very happy with her friendly service. She speaks great English, is very knowledgable, gives practical advice and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you can’t see what you want in terms of curtains fabrics on display, be sure to ask to see her samples - she has a wide range of different colours and textures. Prices are very competitive and she can arrange to have your curtains delivered to you in Hong Kong. Turn-around time is about 10 days to 2 weeks. Candy has also recently opened another cute little shop on the 3rd Floor, with household items like throws, sheet sets and pyjamas. Am definitely a happy customer and will be back to buy more curtains from her very soon. If you want to buy dress fabrics at Luohu Shopping Plaza, the whole of the fifth floor is definitely worth checking out. I have bought some lovely linens and patterned cottons from Stall 4 before, but there are many options and vendors to choose from. I have recently used Sophia Tailor to copy some favourite skirts, trousers and dresses and can highly recommend her. She has done an excellent job, gives practical advice on amount of fabric to buy, measurements, suitability of fabrics etc and used fabric which I brought with me and also fabric purchased in the market. She was also able to send my completed order to me in Hong Kong (COD), which is very convenient if you are not planning to come back to LoWu for a while. Turnaround time is about 10 - 15 days. She’s located at Shop 50A on the 5th Floor (around the corner from Candy Bedding) and in the middle of a row of tailor shops which line the walls of the fabric market. Highly recommend both businesses!
