Zambia’s Psychedelic Zamrock Is Having a Second Life
"The Zamrock Museum, a project by Modzi Arts in Ibex Hill, serves as a living museum to celebrate Zamrock music. It features a library of books on Zambian and African music, a record booth with Zamrock records, and memorabilia. It also hosts residences and concerts with mentors like Jagari Chanda and Rikki Ililonga."
It’s an interesting museum with valuable historical artefacts and photos. Still, I was expecting more art, and the entrance fee felt quite high, especially since no guide was provided to explain Zambia’s history

Good place to start with when you visit Zambia and want to know of its political, social, and cultural history and evolution. Had a good guide who took us through the exhibitions and explains to us the stories behind it. Great setup and would definitely visit again.

Just woow. This place was absolutely spectacular 👌. A must visit. It's for all the history junkies and art enthusiasts. It was such a knowledge rich place absolutely beautiful 😍. I would definitely recommend. You will definitely learn a lot. From the history of humans to Zambia fight for freedom to how Zambia grew and flourished as well as about its culture and not forgetting all the wonderful leaders that have ruled over the country and brought it where it is today.

It is the first I visited a museum so educative. You can really learn about Zambian history from anthropology to political scene. Everything is explained so simply that there is no really need to have a guide. What also struck it is how the management made the museum accessible to kids. I observed many students coming over there to take some notes regarding the history.
So if you are foreigner you will pay K85 and local K10 .
Definitely worth a visit.

Great Museum if you want to get a good overview of Zambia and its recent history in 1 to 2 hours. The guides are most enthusiastic and good company through the journey of time. The ground floor has a Kenneth Kaunda exhibition, which gives a good overview of this iconic man's life and influence on Zambia
