Lusaka National Park, located approximately 30 km south‑east of Lusaka, is Zambia’s newest national park.
Although formally gazetted in 2011, it opened to the public in June 2015, becoming the 20th national park and only the second situated in an urban environment after Mosi‑oa‑Tunya in Livingstone
It offers a well‑designed, easily accessible wildlife experience on the outskirts of the capital. Ideal for a relaxed half‑day or full‑day trip.
