Whenever someone visits from afar, I always take them here, and I will continue to do so. Even though I've only been twice, the reasonable prices and high-quality food have satisfied everyone, including me. The freshness of the ingredients and their perfect harmony are impressive. It feels like a little Portugal in Picton. The owner's passion for food is clear, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Honestly, the food here is better than some of the upscale places nearby. In a time when dining out often means high prices with disappointing food, this place is a real gem. Huge thanks to the staff! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

The food was amazing! Highly recommend the tarts and chicken sandwich. The food is to die for, very flavourful, nice portions for the price. Didn’t have to wait very long after ordering for the food. There is inside and patio seating. Most of the staff were very nice and friendly.

A MUST TRY IN THE AREA! The fried chicken sandwich is insanely good. Like I'm still thinking about it weeks later. Another standout is their Portuguese tarts! The crust was so flakey with the inside so rich and gooey. I did enjoy their French toast but next time I go back, I'm getting the fried chicken sandwich!!

we ordered take out and they put everything in neat little containers, that made it easy to assemble. one was avocado toast with cod and the other is the luso eggs benedict, delicious

Outstanding brunch here. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and textures of the salt cod, tomato avocado toast with a perfectly poached egg. The hot chocolate was a superb accompaniment on this crisp fall day.

A must stop when in Picton! An amazing blend of authentic Portuguese cuisine with a breakfast fusion. The service and staff is equally as amazing. We had the French toast and blueberries, eggs Benedict surf and turf as well as the caldo verde. All were fresh and delicious.

Visited in August 2025 and I can't wait to come back to try the other menu items. Cool casual breakfast/lunch/coffee spot with some Portuguese influences/dishes. It's a bit hidden, but glad we tried it. We had the eggs Benedict, French toast, croquettes, and Portuguese tarts. Very friendly service. Some indoor and outdoor seating.

I’ve never been to Portugal, but arriving at Luso Bites made me want to visit! An inviting atmosphere with bright colours, friendly service and delicious food options. I am not one to try anything too crazy, so I ordered their chicken sandwich, which had a Portuguese twist. My husband had the pork sandwich and we shared the cod fritters. We sat on the patio, and our lunch arrived quickly afterwards. The food was amazing, fresh and mouth-watering. I can’t wait to go back!
