My Mother and I popped on for lunch; The food was great; had the wedge Salad and it was huge, like almost 1/2 head of lettuce. The dressing was a fantastic chunky bleu cheese and fresh cooked bacon bits (generous amount). Very crisp and refreshing. My Mom had the Reuben and remarked that it was very good, used actual Pastrami instead of deli corned beef. The service was great, it wasn’t busy so she was very attentive. I felt the prices were very reasonable considering the excellent fresh quality and exceptional service. Will definitely return and recommend!

Enjoyed it. Server was cool and friendly. Food was good. Kids were entertained. I like places with some history. Lots of fried stuff, I had the burger with a dog on it and it was solid. Wholesome spot to visit on a 115 degree day in Yuma.

To be clear, it isn't a casino anymore, it's a restaurant. Food was below average to me and a little overpriced. The only food I'd recommend is the jalapeño poppers. Service was OK, I did speak to one of the cooks who seemed super friendly. There is dining inside and I saw outside tables. The decor included lots of butts boobs and baseball among other things. There is a small arcade. I didn't like the flavor of the hot dogs. Side dishes such as french fries cost extra. I found it interesting the kitchen was in front and dining is behind the kitchen. Could host a large group here.

Such a fun place to visit when you’re in Yuma. Second time for my hubby and I and we really enjoyed the food and drinks and atmosphere both times. Had rolled tacos and guacamole and Long Island ice tea, cheeseburger fries and ice tea. Tab was $37 total including tax- you pay more than that at fast food drive thru!! If you’re in Yuma, you owe yourself a visit to Lutes Casino and bar - you’ll enjoy it!!

Everything was great!!! The only reason I gave four stars in service is because when we ordered our food, my dish came literally 10 minutes after everyone else. Other than the food being awesome, the entire place is covered in history; newspaper articles, "art" pieces, and a whole bunch of memorabilia. The place gets packed quite quickly. The empty pic is what I ordered 🤣

Food was great, had a BLT, fries were nice and crunchy. Someone else in my group had a turkey burger which was nice and thick. The atmosphere and service need 6 stars. Mr. Latest showed up and started playing the piano to our surprise. What a great find!!! So glad we came here over any of the chain restaurants! We'll be back when we come through again.

Havent been to Lutes since the recesión when I called Yuma home for a short time. Fast forward to 2024 road trip thru states and did a pit stop here. We initally wanted to try the half pint but no one acknowledged us nor apolized for leaving us hanging. When we step into Lutes the place was packed and we made our wy tomaras the middle. Within 4 minutes of sitting down Wendy appeared bubbly and ready to take our order. She acknowledged everyone in our group which included a mix of kids. She made suggestions and took care of business. Highly recommend this joint and def ask for Wendy.

Lutes Casino, "Where the Elite Meet to Eat"....is a fun dive-bar. No, really, it is. The place hasn't changed in at least 100 years and that's the fun of it. You do need to go if you're ever in Yuma and want a lunch you won't forget. Good food and cold beer.....in Yuma.....what's not to like? Excellent wait staff: we ordered one sandwich to split, and the waiter made sure we received two plates, each with half the sandwich.....hey, I've been to other places where that wouldn't have happened.... Trust me, you'll never forget your Lutes Casino experience.....

Well, first of all it's not a casino but it's surely as busy as one. We went here for lunch because it was really busy the last time we walked by it. Figured if it was that busy, it was a good sign. We both had a draft beer and there special -A cheeseburger with a fried hotdog on top of the burger patty. We also ordered a side of fries. The burgers were.... Interesting and actually really good. Who doesn't love a fried hotdog?!?! It had a soft bun, fresh lettuce onions pickles and tomatoes. It was good, but we both agreed the hamburger patty needed flavor-or, maybe salt? The place had a lot of servers, it was busy and tables were cleaned fast. No line and seated fast. Nothing was fantastic but nothing was bad, either. Would we go again-yes.

Lutes Casino is nostalgia at its finest! The ambiance brings back rushes of childhood memories. I had a Caesar salad with tri tip. It's was plentiful of meat and great Caesar dressing. The chili was home made and delicious! Jessica was our server who was absolutely hilarious, we had a blast with her. Mike the owner is awesome too!

Second visit here and an intentional one at that! We were headed home from California and chose to take I-8 this time in order to bring the wife here...she wasn't with me the first time I visited. Just the ambiance, the décor, the nostalgia, etc. is such a draw to this fun, eclectic place! And of course, we spent over an hour here while she moved around checking out every corner! It was busy at all when we got there...mid-afternoon. Our server, Eben, said that they had been smashed the day before for Father's Day and they were enjoying the calmer day. Here's what we enjoyed: Patty Melt (had this previously and it was so good I had to have it again!) which is big and juicy and cooked to perfection. Full of gooey onions and cheese and I love to dunk mine in yellow mustard! Also had a side salad with ranch dressing (they make their own and it is so good and creamy). Also the tater tots because heck...who can't eat fried tater tots? Angus Burger, cooked medium and comes with lots of lettuce, tomato and onion and again, a big burger! We also order onion rings, which again are fried to perfection. I love when you bite into an onion ring and the whole onion doesn't come sliding out. They guys know how to cook rings! Another great lunner (between lunch and dinner) to complete the trip home to Phoenix! Thanks all for a great experience!

Unique restaurant. Poor service the night we visited. Our table of 10 put in our order. Our food came out with the exception of 1 meal. Took over 20 minutes to get the final order and this was after we went to the kitchen and the manager and asked for helped. Excuses made from the staff but not very sympathetic. I'd pass on another visit here.

Stopped in to meet my Brother in law and some of his friends here for lunch. Cool spot! Lot's of stuff to look at, and arcade games for the kids. My kids spent probably $20.00 on the claw candy game and came up with bags full of candy. For food, I went with the patty melt and an order or onion rings/fries. Patty melt was really good! Super cheesy, which I like. Onion rings were bomb! Thick, crispy and fried perfectly. The fries were meh. Standard fries, soggy kind of. Wish I had ordered all onion rings. Service was great! Friendly folks here and the sheer amount of "stuff" they have in the joint is worth stopping alone.

Great food, better than expected and even better atmosphere. The AC could be a little colder but that's the only drawback. Sandwiches, burgers, and potato tacos were soon good. Prices are amazing and they had an exceptional band playing on a Friday night. Great place!

Secret menu hack: order the Climax aka the "Especial" (Cheeseburger with a hotdog) and add TriTip to it as well!! Real locals know what's up! BEST RESTAURANT IN YUMA! From the service to the food to the overall experience of a family run local staple, you'll never find another Lutes Casino!

Don't ask why I was in Yuma AZ and I won't tell. But if you happened to find yourself there pop into Lutes and get the elusive hotdog hamburger combo. This isn't something you want to order when you're about to be in a form fitting dress but life is all about living on the edge. Contrary to the name, this isn't a casino. I figured this out when I walked in and saw a herd of children. But the free entertainment was nice. Might go back just for that combo...

No flavor, server was not friendly, just seemed liked he was going through the motion, place def could use some cleaning!!!!

This place is magical! It's right on the Main Street of old town Yuma and going inside is like taking a trip back in time. The menu has everything you could ever want but our favorites are the Lute's Special (hotdog & hamburger combo), the Taco Dog and the Sonoran Bean Taco - fried in a flour tortilla and so so good! The service is friendly and you have a waiter but pay at the cashier on your way out. Ambiance is very very casual and eclectic in the most fun of ways. There are high top and low top tables and a back patio.

Why is this place so popular? We loved the eclectic decorations and atmosphere of this place but our food was meh. We got a daily special with bbq brisket with Gouda cheese and baked beans and a 1/2 soup and sandwich. I opted for the clam chowder. It didn't tasted homemade and lacked flavor but was piping hot and was ok. The turkey sandwich was on a grain bread that added to the sandwich. The bbq brisket was messy and delicious. The cheese needed a little more melting. The beans were ok more like a chili/bbq bean flavor. All in all it's fun to try each time we come to Yuma but once a trip is enough. Service is hit and miss.

This place is out in the middle of nowhere but much needed! Good place to gas up, get food, gamble and go.

The food is always good!!! The service has never been different since I can remember !! And the atmosphere is super chill!! We had the polish dog, the Sonoran beef rolled tacos, chips and fries!! To top it off we had the club samich!!!which was so good!

One star is too much. I understand it's difficult to find decent food in Yuma but how this place even has one customer is beyond me. I worked in food service for years. #1, This place is beyond filthy! Mold on the walls and dirt everywhere, #2, The food is disgusting and nor edible #3 The service sucks and the wait staff needs a new job as they are terrible at being a server. I would go to a fast food restaurant before ever stepping foot in this horrible establishment. Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE ELSE.

Probably the worst fish tacos I have ever had, and I did have high hopes. Limp, cold corn tortillas, half-filled with fish and only topping was cabbage and not a special tasting fish taco sauce. The restaurant is old and has old nostalgic decor, which some is interesting, most is so caked with thick dust/dirt it may have never been cleaned. The iced tea was good, but I couldn't even get 1 refill for a $3.00+ drink as they dumped the rest out before asking me for a fill up because it was close to closing time. Won't try again. Won't recommend to other friends coming into town soon either.

This is the king of local joints. Plain simple food. Nothing fancy. Cold beer. Great service even during crazy busy times. And if you want to immerse yourself in Yuma history this is the place. It's no longer a casino so don't let the name fool you. Come enjoy the ambience and chill with the locals at Lutes.

If you're ever on Interstate 8 between California and Arizona and you see a sign that reads "Yuma" take the next exit. Lutes Casino is located in Yuma's Historic Downtown District and although the it's not a casino, you're going to win big. Athestically, the restaurant is amazing, the walls are filled with nic-nacs and posters from way back when. And, the food is absolutely amazing, they offer everything from a hamburger-hotdogs hybrid to rolled tacos. They have something for everyone.

Been there many times with good food. Although the last three times has been horrible. Order not turned in, poor service and tonight ordered fish and chips. The server brought our food and it was absolutely burnt and over cooked. Couldn't even peel the breading off the fish. I didn't understand why he even brought it to us. I'm done with Lutes Casino!!!!

Friday night 20 of my friends and I swarmed into Lute's for food and drinks. Our server Amanda took all our appetizers & drink orders. Then made our drinks and brought us our appetizers. Then she took our dinner orders. I had the Lute special a yummy burger with a butterflied hot dog on top. Sorry no pic cause I was starving and destroyed it. End the night Amanda brought us all our own checks. She split the checks without asking us which made it that much easier to pay! She treated us like old friends and was joking and laughing w us all night long! Keep up the great work Amanda and Lute's keep making yummy food in a crazy fun environment

There is no better spot! The food and service are always great. Eat at the bar if you need to be quick. The Lutes Special is a must and get the onion rings.

Great burger and bar place. Atmosphere is definitely friendly and maybe a little rowdy but it was fun for us. Definitely be back again!! Our waitress was excellent as well.

We loved it here. You can feel the history when walking in and the walls are covered in really cool memorabilia. I wish I had gotten our servers name but the service was great and she was so helpful with recommending what's what on the menu since it was our first time in. I went with the tri tip sandwich which was very tasty!

I remember the first visit in 2018 very clearly. The food quality was not something that is "allegedly" a perfect sample of Yuman "cuisine" (Actually, it is a reflection of the Rio Grande River). I've been invited to meet friends and coworkers. I wouldn't drop off a coffin for a wake in that place. One of the worst experiences to start our lives in Yuma. It all went downhill from there. I gave it a one star because I have morals. Never again!!!!!

Great place, love it, and the people. Lately, the Monday Tuesday piano playing is worse than elevator music!

An eclectic environment, lots of Yuma history. Good food and friendly staff. Shared the fish taco basket and each had a dinner salad. Fresh greens and other bits and pieces. The tacos were so large that I had the fish, only, from my second taco. We have eaten here before, and I only remember that it was good food. I would recommend this place without any reservations.

Downtown Yuma. This is a unique place to dine. Lots of memorabilia and nostalgia in this old building. Dining room is large and wraps around a center bar/wait service counter. We had hamburgers chicken fingers and onion rings chili, tots and fries. All were delicious! Prices reasonable and comparable with nearby restaurants. Will return.

Just had lunch and what a great place! I love comfortable atmospheres and this is what you'll find here! Lots of memorabilia to make it a one-of-a-kind place! Food was really good. My husband had the fried hot dog and I had the chicken Philly sandwich and both items were delicious. Jessica, our server, was great.... kept the tea and beers flowing. We'll be back again soon!

Funky old joint with shabby working class decor, lots of giant humorous posters and decorative machinery etc. Has a bank of lotto terminals but despite the name is not a gambling "casino" like in Vegas or Indian Country. Fun place for an occasional meal or gathering.

Great Yuma staple! Despite the name this is a great place for the whole family. I love their burgers, chili cheese fries, and believe it or not their potato tacos are the best in town! Wrangle up the family and head down to lutes!

The very eclectic decor is just the start of this amazing historic place. You will find everything clean and inviting atmosphere for the whole family. We were lucky enough to get Wendy for our waitress, and let me just say that she is the SHIT! She is very attentive, funny and reminds you of that outgoing relative in the family that always makes you laugh. We just had the Burger special and they were very good. Will definitely be back here.

This was a great place to eat food was great the waitress was outstanding we were welcome by the owner too he was very nice ! First time visiting Yuma AZ I truly recommend this place their is so much to see inside of it ! Just a great experience & we will come back again .

Yes they are open for dine in as of July 2020. Walking in made me want to hang out inside as the eclectic decor really catch's the eye. Pinball machines line the wall and a row of pool tables can be found in the back area. Alas we needed a to go order as my brown fur baby came along for the ride. My road trip doggie. We ate in the car with the air conditioning running of course as it was 109 outside. We were looking for a great sandwich and shake place to stop for lunch on our drive back home. My trusty co-pilot (my daughter) found this place. I had Nancy's chicken sandwich and a chocolate shake with heath bar bits in it. Daughter had a tuna melt with a chocolate malt. The sandwich's were moist and delicious. The shakes really hit the spot with the heat outside. This place will be on our list of places to stop on our next road trip! A very cool, interesting, and eclectic place! Lots of random pieces in the building. Food came out quick and tasted home made. Good service even though it was busy.

Neat place and fun atmosphere. Food is good, delivered with amazing speed. The bar service was excellent and plenty of stuff to keep you or your children occupied. The owner is just a uniquely gifted soul that makes the place fun

The service and food are two things I can count on to be good at Lutes's. It would be fun if they could continue the live music they have each week in the summer throughout the year

WOW this place was so much fun and service was exceptional! The restaurant was packed and Jacqueline, our waitress, was Very attentive, helpful, and pleasant. The Fish and chips were outstanding! Frito Pie was huge and filling. My hubby had the Special Burger! This place is really unique. We definitely will be back!

Fun ambiance, goofy decorations on every wall and hanging from the ceiling. Service was friendly. Food okay. Husband had very greasy Reuben sandwich. I had excellent spinach salad entree. Never order a mixed drink here. I had the worst Prickly Pear Margarita ever. It was full of sugar, even had a maraschino cherry floating in the bottom. Husband enjoyed his beer. Worth going to see the decorations. Recommend sticking to beer and salad.

Truly a dive bar but full of memorabilia from days gone by. The staff were very friendly and the food is bar food. We had the Taco dog which was quite interesting. They have a full bar and the beer is good and cold. I would go back again

Had the most excellent food server at the bar! Wendy served us and had us laughing! She gave us some recommendations and we went with them. The especial was special! Some older gentleman in a fun hat came by and welcomed us! Beers were a deal! Thank you for making us feel welcome and thank you for the wonderful service! We will be back next we're in Yuma! Our kids were playing games and $1 in quarters got stuck in a machine. Our server, Ty, walked right over to the kids and took $1 out of his wallet and gave it to them. This guy is great and went the extra mile for us with service. Ty is a class act and deserves a promotion!
