Lutyens Bungalow

We had a wonderful stay here. Although we stayed only for a night here, we could be more thankful to have chosen this property. The name might mislead you if you book an Uber. Look for "Nath" Such welcoming hosts, two beautiful floofballs for dogs, and two furballs for cats. The place is very close to Chanakyapuri and the Embassy. For people traveling to visa appointments on business, this is a great place. Quiet, quaint, and calm. Rooms: Although the rooms are a bit small, they do the job. The radiator/heater wasn't really doing a great job. Apart from these two minor gripes, nothing at all. Hot water available, air purifier. The hosts are so thoughtful during winters, they add a hotbag under the covers to keep the duvets warm before you arrive. Such a nice gesture. Food: Absolutely yummy breakfast. Their timing is till 10 am. Our appointments went over a little. But they were gracious enough to make hot parathas and omelettes for us. They have a great collection of teas. Staff: On the day of the appointment, Delhi weather threw a curve ball and it started pouring. The hosts were kind enough to lend us an umbrella coz we didn't come prepared. Also, when we checked out, we left an eyemask in the room and they promptly collected it and saved it. I returned to Delhi a few days later and they graciously helped sending that back to me. Really admirable. The property has an art studio, nursery, a lot of parrots, birds. It just works. It's so close to Safdarjung tomb. You could walk to it. Highly recommend.

We stayed here at the end of our time in Delhi, India. And it was such a welcome change. The place was tranquil. The reason my partner booked it was because we saw reviews of dogs! Maple and Mocha were amazing. They never came to us when we were eating and were happy to be around us. They had better manners than most two-legged people I’ve met! The rooms were nice. They had better electrical things than an apartment we stayed at: air purifier, heater. Also included is a hair dryer, shampoo/ conditioner, body wash, towels, safe etc Breakfast was heavenly and dinner was additional upon request, but after staying away from home for more than 9 weeks, we went crazy for a home cooked meal! All the staff were amazing and I loved the way they took care of the fur- babies: dogs and cats! I loved the place so much. If I ever go back to Delhi, will stay here again.

Truly special hotel in Delhi. It’s like staying with a family that is meeting you at the airport after a long journey. They take incredible care of you. The breakfasts and dinners are like family gatherings with delicious food. Lutyens is a beautiful little village in the heart of Delhi.

This is hands down my favorite stay in India and possibly ever! Truly a one of a kind experience. The property is stunning, the staff is kind and extremely helpful, and Lutyen herself is an incredible host. Delhi can be overwhelming to some but the bungalow transports you to a serene environment surrounded by beautiful nature. A prime location with many tourist spots nearby and a short walk to the metro. I will be back again and again!

We were prepared to have a Wonderful stay in this coveted area of India. The owners are nice but this is the only thing good about this property. It does require major maintenence and the rooms are damp and not comfortable. We tried to spend as much time off the property as possible.

Lutyens is a lovely, welcoming home from home. The friendly family owners and their attentive and helpful staff made for a relaxed and easy stay. The breakfast was homemade and delicious, the pool was clean and the perfect temperature and the rooms were clean. It is set in a quiet part of Delhi but within easy reach of the sites which are just a tuk-tuk ride away. The highlight for us were Maple and Moka, the two playful and super friendly dogs!

Very personal and friendly home stay. Enjoyed our time there and would come back. Rooms could use an update (especially bathrooms)
