LUX Le Morne

What a fantastic hotel and stay. We spent 5 days.|All rooms are facing the sea. What a dream beach and lagoon with cristal clear water.|Beautiful garden|All the staff members were always ready to help and assist and so friendly|The rooms are very clean and large. ours had an outside shower. Lovely to shower with view on the Morne. Really exceptional. |All in is good but a little pity that it allows only two choices of restaurant. The two others, Kawaii and east at extra cost.

My husband and I booked the Lux Le Morne to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We spent 5 nights at the Lux Grand Baie followed by 5 nights at Lux Le Morne. |The hotel is incredible. The grounds are very tropical and the beach is amazing. The view from the lobby when we first arrived was breathtaking. |The staff that work here are all amazing, friendly, and worked extremely hard to make sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. They remembered our name and treated us like royalty from the moment we arrived. |We booked a sunset junior suite that was beautiful with a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. The bed was huge and so comfy. The mini bar was excellent and replenished daily. |The food was always delicious with plenty of choice and the presentation and service excellent. Our favourite place was the beach restaurant. |Because it was our golden wedding anniversary the hotel provided a number of extra treats for us which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed a tropical breakfast by the pool which was waiter served with fantastic views out to sea. |The beach area was amazing with plenty of sun beds and lovely big bean bags which were lovely to go and sit on and watch the spectacular sunsets. |We have come away with some lovely memories and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone. There is something for everyone looking for a luxury stay on this beautiful island.

We booked Lux Le Morne for our wedding. The staff were incredible, rooms are great and food is amazing. The GM of the hotel is always present and Ashoke (GM) and the team went the extra mile to make our stay very memorable. We were given the treehouse as complimentary for us to have our dinner in. Breakfast and dinner in the main buffet restaurant was always spot on, the staff can not do enough and always accommodating requests. The gym has enough equipment for a good workout and the spa has everything you need. The beach, pools and backdrop is stunning. I can keep going on and on about how great this place is. A special thanks to Ashoke, Mannie, Alain and all the other staff that made our stay and wedding a memorable one.

My husband and I went on vacation at lux le morne. We are from Israel, we eat kosher food. Every vacation, the topic of food weighs heavily on us. Outside of Israel it is extremely difficult to find places that understand the matter of kosher. I have to praise this amazing hotel and especially the chef Saurabh who, even before we arrived, gave us a kind response by email and prepared everything for us, so that we could enjoy the food that the hotel has to offer. He provided us with kosher dishes, and cooked separately from the rest of the local food. He opened his kitchen to us and thanks to him we could enjoy the food on vacation. It should be noted that the food is excellent and we enjoyed every bite. warm recommendation.

Stunning resort! Excellent service from highly professional and friendly staff. Ask for Iqbal if you want to be driven around the Island and if you want recommendations of activities. The variety of restaurants on the resort is an added bonus. Expensive but worth it.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. From the moment you arrive you'll appreciate the relaxed vibe. No detail is left to chance but, strangely, you never seem to notice it. The restaurants are never overcrowded and the choice of food caters to all tastes. A walk down the beach with le Morne looking down on you in the morning is a peaceful and relaxing way to start your day. Personally I never return to a place I've already visited as the world has a lot to offer but I might consider this one...

We visited LUX Le Morne for our honeymoon and wow, what an incredible holiday we had. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with smiles, kindness and such a willingness to make our stay special that we have never experienced anything like it. Throughout our entire stay, the staff couldn't be more helpful, always checking up on us in case we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble at all.||On the morning of our first full day we had a meeting with Justine to go through activities we might like to do during our stay and wow, what a superstar Justine is. We mentioned about a Dual Seaplane experience and so Justine called up, checked availability and 3 hours later we were on our way. Must say this was an incredible experience and the weather was perfect to see the underwater waterfall. Justine also got us booked up for swimming with Dolphins and a full day tour of the South of the island so we could see waterfalls, feed giant turtles and take in some incredible scenery. It wasn't just this Justine helped with, she was also on hand to help with any questions and even helped rearrange the Dolphin swim due to the weather. She would often WhatsApp to make sure we were doing ok too. A superstar who went above and beyond!||We must mention Hemant who is the resident photographer. We booked in a sunset photoshoot, only for the particular day to be a bit cloudy as the afternoon came to a close. Suddenly out of the blue, a message arrived asking if we could be ready in 10 minutes as there was a bit of a sunset. We managed to capture some great photos and it was a lot of fun. Due to it not quite being the full sunset, Hemant also squeezed us in the following morning for some drone footage. Which is amazing and really captures where you are staying. Highly recommend this and I would book as soon as you arrive or even beforehand as he was very busy. Such a nice and kind person and another superstar!||There are many other staff members like Ahshay in the Bar area who remembered us well, even after 2 days off. If he recommends the local rum, you must give it a go! Priyanka was in the main restaurant and was so lovely and smiley. Gevanie was also wonderful and Manisha in the celebration corner was fantastic and helpful too. There are so many more staff members across the entire hotel who's names we have forgotten (sorry) but they all helped to make our stay perfect, create memories we will never forget and more importantly, too celebrate life!!||In terms of what the hotel has to offer, as we were on their honeymoon package, we could book a location for a private dinner (added extra) like the beach, treehouse or gazebo. We went for the Gazebo and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommended but you must book before you go to avoid missing out. There is also a ton of complementary activities you can do like pedal boats, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and kayaking.||We really enjoyed eating a the BAR (for a late lunch), the burgers are incredible and dinner in the Beach was amazing. The buffet had different cuisines each night and you could always find something you liked. The BAR also had plenty of cocktails and drinks...I definitely became a fan of a daiquiri or two each night.||All in all what a hotel and what a honeymoon! Thank you!

This was our favourite hotel out of five 5 star hotels visited in Mauritius. Highly recommend for couples in particular. Everything was perfect including the food!
