LUX South Ari Atoll

Had a most amazing stay here. The resort is beautiful and had no issues. The service here has been first class. Ahusan our housekeeper was very friendly and accommodating. The chefs at east market were so friendly and polite thank you Suresh, Allan and Pong. The food was incredible. Shawkat the bell attendant was very polite and I enjoyed our conversations on our rides. Our pool keeper was very polite and friendly along with all of the team. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

We were repeat guests and once again had a wonderful experience - we were not disappointed. The service, accommodations and overall atmosphere were just as excellent as we remembered from our previous stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.|The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a peaceful night's sleep. The amenities were top-notch and thoughtfully selected.|The food at the hotel restaurant was exquisite - a real highlight of our trip. The menu offered a range of delicious options catering to different tastes. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented.|The location is another big plus, with easy access to key activities. The concierge was extremely helpful in assisting.|In summary, this hotel has once again exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The unparalleled service, luxurious accommodations, fantastic dining and prime location make it our go-to choice when visiting the Maledives. An amazing trip away to celebrate two milestone birthdays. Our first trip to the the Maldives was over 20yrs ago and pre children, it is still just as beautiful and amazing. This was our first time at Lux Maldives and it really didn’t disappoint. Excellent staff, amazing accommodation, superb food at all the restaurants and no shortage of activities and trips to keep you occupied. Special thanks to Ahusan (housekeeping) who provided us with an amazing service and we loved his daily towel creations. To Bek our concierge who was always available to help and answer any questions and finally all the staff at East Market who provided great service and food. We will be back much sooner next time.

First time at Lux and we had an amazing experience, service was truly exceptional from the guest experiences team, cleaning, and everyone at the restaurants. Everyone was friendly and seemed very happy to work here which contributed so much to the welcoming atmosphere of the island. Shoutout to Mulham, Anfal, Pong. Shafeeu and many many others that went above and beyond. We felt very taken care of from the moment we touched down in Male from luggages, transfers, daily itinerary, so on. Food was exceptional and service was amazing. All the restaurants had ahthentic food, especially the chinese, south asian, and thai cuisines. Drinks were amazing as well. We were here for a week and had a comfortable variety. Shoutout to senses and the south asian live station at breakfast. Whole Island is spotless, clean, and always smells amazing. Waters are clear and we saw many sharks and sting rays by the shore. There are too many positive points throughout the whole experience to mention it all, but in general, could not recommend it enough!! Team was very attentive and welcoming we felt carefree throughout our stay. :)

Amazing week in Lux, we always want to go home at the end of our holidays. Not this time (sorry kids) we genuinely didn’t want to leave. |Where to start, the sea plane journey….. on a plane 55 years ok, 15 of us cozied up in what felt like a flying minibus. The pilots and crew were amazing and the experience was fantastic. The view and the blue of the sea was incredible. As we landed at the island the water was turquoise and we were welcomed by warmth and knowledge of who we were were we had travelled from and we were whisked to our villa. |Ours a romantic over water villa was breathtaking. The infinity pool was perfect. The lagoon we were over is like an aquarium….. amazing.|Service was outstanding. Friendly, personal, professional. |Food. Our two preferred speciality restaurants were beach rouge and Allegeria. But the buffet east market was the best buffet restaurant we have ever experienced. We cancelled 2 nights of a la carte restaurants to go to it!!|Relaxed, happy and stunned with how amazing it was! We never go back…. But we will now.

Quite honestly, we have both said that this is the best resort we have ever stayed in. From the second you arrive, to the minute you leave, you’re treated like royalty. The staff are what makes this place so very special. The food is truly outstanding. We both felt incredibly emotional to leave. The only worry we have, is that some of the all inclusive perks (like champagne) may be removed in the future, which would be a massive shame. I hope management don’t make this decision. The premium all inclusive we experienced made the holiday truly unique and special for us. A huge thank you to all of the amazing staff. You all deserve huge respect and credit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Worth Selling a Kidney For… Almost!” My wife has already volunteered to sell one of my kidneys so we can come back for her next big birthday — that probably tells you everything you need to know about how much we loved LUX South Ari Atoll*! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. A special shoutout to Rafith, who came to the rescue when we faced what looked like an 8-hour wait at Malé airport on our return. Even though the situation wasn’t really the resort’s fault, he managed to arrange a later checkout and gave us a discount to use the lovely LUX Lounge* (which you also enjoy on arrival). That level of care really stood out. As for the resort itself — well, it’s easy to see why people rave about this place. The service is genuinely fantastic, and it’s one of the few destinations where your photos actually look like the postcards. We swam with turtles, manta rays, whale sharks, and reef sharks — simply unforgettable. The food was fabulous, the beaches pristine, and the water that unreal shade of turquoise you always dream about. In short: great trip, great service, and a truly stunning location. We’ll be back (once I’ve recovered from the kidney negotiations)

What a gorgeous part of the world!! We stayed here for 6 glorious nights in a beachfront pool villa for our honeymoon. The luxury started on arrival off our flight from Colombo. There was someone to meet us off our flight that escorted us to the check-in with Maldavian Air Seaplanes. Check in was speedy and then we were escorted to a shuttle bus that took us to the seaplane terminal. From there we were taken to a lux lounge to wait for our flight - what a great start!||The seaplane flight to the resort was thrilling with a couple of touchdown stops on the way. On arrival at the resort we were escorted by golf buggy to our gorgeous beachfront pool villa, number 332. The bed was decorated with red rose petals in a big love heart and a welcome bottle of prosecco on ice, snacks & cake were provided. The room was very large and spacious and our private pool was so inviting - we swam in it a number of times each day. The bed was huge and the pillows & linen was oh so lush.||We were hooked up via whatsapp to our concierge and we were updated every day via this format - it was very efficient. Anything we needed throughout the stay I just messaged via whatsapp and like magic our requests were fulfilled. One night we ordered dinner to our room and this was set up on our outdoor deck overlooking the indian ocean in time to enjoy the sunset - very romantic! We rented bikes which was very handy to get around the island - it was lots of fun riding all over the place. The public pools were very nice with good bar service & the food for the entire stay was fantastic - the choice of dinning establishments was varied and of great quality.||Every day when our room was serviced we would come back to the room and it smelled so good. I mentioned this to the housekeeper and on our last day he supplied us with 2 bottles of the fragrance - so I have a gorgeous smelling house that brings great memories back to me right at home, back in New Zealand.||Thanks Lux South Ari Atoll - we had a wonderful honeymoon.||We look forward to our next visit in a few years time!
