LUX South Ari Atoll

Incredible holiday at the Lux resort. The service was absolutely amazing – every staff member was so friendly and helpful, and a special thank you to Ahmed who made our stay even more memorable. The food was outstanding, with a brilliant variety across the restaurants – from Asian to Italian, and the Maldivian curry was simply incredible. Having several dining options was a real bonus compared to other resorts we had looked at. Our water villa was just outstanding, the best place I've ever stayed. We also went diving, fishing, and snorkelling – all unforgettable experiences, with so much marine life to see. This was a truly exceptional holiday, and we can’t wait to go back!

What about LUX* South Ari Atoll? Everything was wonderful, we had a dream honeymoon, the resort is beautiful, the beaches with crystal clear water that looked like something out of a movie, the food worthy of Michelin-starred restaurants. We can only thank all the staff, they are attentive, dedicated, friendly and always have a smile on their faces. We did a bit of everything, wonderful massages, movie nights, parties or just a good cocktail, we were able to dive with all kinds of fish and sharks. The room was huge and welcoming, well looked after and always extremely clean. For us it was simply heaven on earth, thank you all for giving us something so wonderful.

This is absolutely the best resort in Maldives. The people make all the difference - friendly, genuine and attentive. The experience and memories created are priceless, from island treasure hunt, immaculate coffee and movie nights. The food at all the restaurants are exquisite and delicious. It is amazing how many chefs this resort has. The beauty of the nature is stunning - from sunsets to blue lagoons and even the dancing sea grass. Highly recommended for families and couples.

We had an amazing 6 nights at Lux South Ari. Absolutely incredible, kind, and lovely staff made the experience here unforgettable. Our concierge Gatsby was attentive around the clock and arranged dinner reservations, spa treatments, transportation, and daily activities schedule making the trip stress free. The grounds crew here are simply exceptional at their job, with every single space on the resort looking pristine and beautiful. Our sunset beach villa was perfect and felt like our own private beach. Food was 5 star every meal, every night from local Maldivian cuisine to Japanese to Indian it was all too good.A definite must visit luxury resort!

Going to the Maldives was a dream come true especially when my wife and I wanted to celebrate our honeymoon. We decided to go with Lux South Ari Atroll as the reviews were very high and honestly Lux did not disappoint! ||From the moment my wife and I arrived we were greeted with smiles and friendly welcomes. I genuinely believe the staff are honestly the very best people I have ever come across in the world. Everyone would greet us every morning, afternoon and evening and the service they provide is simply the best! Our Lux host Giada has been with us from day 1 through till day 7 and she has been superb, always informative and simply a joy to be around. She has not once failed to impress and was always on the other side of the phone if we needed anything. We really do want to thank Giada for all the help and guidance she’s provided us during our stay at Lux. It really wouldn’t be the same without her! Lux what are you waiting for? Promote her already! ||Whilst on the topic of staff, there’s a number of staff at the resort that were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcoming. Rimaah, Naseer, Rana, Nisanka and of course Rau were were like distant friends we haven’t seen in a long time and they just made us feel very comfortable whenever we dined at either Mixe, East Market or Umami. They are simply the best people we have met and the fact they remember my wife and I makes us feel valued and appreciated. We want to thank all the catering staff for being amazing! We weren’t able to take all the names down but we wanted to especially thank Rimaah, Naseer, Rana, Nisanka and the lovely Rau! ||Our villa attendant Ahmed was just amazing and always surprised us with his creativity and even helped us remove unwanted animals from the villa! Thank you so much Ahmed for being you! And lastly, the maintenance attendant Mojibur, my wife and I were looking for bottles shattered around the resort and came across Mojibur and he made such a good impression on us we had to give a shout out to Mojibur too. Even the manager Ahmed was friendly and engaged with us at any opportunity. The world needs more people like them and Lux is very fortunate to have staff like them! ||We really hope we meet everyone again and I am personally wanting to go back to Lux as it was honestly just the best holiday I have ever experienced. The staff really does make a huge impact and leaves a big impression on us and the food was also equally as amazing! ||Our only negative is we weren’t able to note down the catering staffs names during our stay to write about them in this review. ||We are currently on our second part of the honeymoon and nothing compares to Lux. Please continue doing your best and I really hope we see everyone again next time at Lux!

We recently stayed at Lux South Ari Atoll for a second time with our family of 5 (Son aged 5, daughters aged 3 and 18 months). We had a fantastic time similar to last time. The staff are so attentive and wonderful with the children. The restaurant staff in Mixe, East Market, Beach Rogue and Veli Pool Bar were so lovely, they make a point of learning all of their names and making such a fuss of them. The Buggy drivers were so lovely and took our children for drives around the island on a regular basis ! We used the kids club for a few hours a day and babysitting service in the evening for the first time on a holiday as we felt so comfortable. The staff there, Sham, Shoora, Ella and Shaii were so lovely with all of our three and allowed us to have a break and a child free dinner ! The kids loved going and the activities they put on for them are amazing! They provided us with updates and kept us in the loop with what they were doing ! Would highly recommend ! Thank you so much to the ladies there ! The activities for the children on the island generally are amazing - plenty for them to do ! Our concierge Eman was also amazing as per last time and was so helpful with all of our requests. I also managed to use the spa (including a mummy daughter treatment!) in which the ladies there were so lovely. Thanks to everyone and we will be back !

From the moment we landed, the LUX* team looked after us — from guiding us to the seaplane terminal to helping on our way home, making travel seamless.|The resort is unbelievable with so much to do: paddle boarding, snorkelling, kayaking, diving, plus quiz and movie nights. Dining was a highlight too, with loads of restaurant options so we could try somewhere new almost every night.|The island is breathtaking, and our romantic pool villa was pure paradise. The staff were incredible and made sure our honeymoon was truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Jaufar, Jubair, Jameel and Shafeeu for going above and beyond.|We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect honeymoon!
