Luxury Boutique Hotel De Castillion

The Hotel is indeed central located and has convenient parking on site. Walking distance to some of the finest restaurants ( well recommended by the hotel) and chocolatiers in town… It has a true family atmosphere with attentive service all around. The interior has a fashionable old style class and its own design for really feel good moments. We much loved the bar & lounge as very appearing. Although we ate only outside - tempting in Brugge - we can truly recommend to enjoy the breakfast which is served in the cellar. Lovely ambience and well selected, fresh & regional products. The selected room had its nice charm with a little weird entry to the bath & shower - if anything then this should be looked at again ( room 002).

We stayed for one night in Bruges on our way to Knokke and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was exceptional, with James at the front desk going above and beyond to help us. He even took the time to accompany us across town to ensure our car was safely parked in a garage – a level of service you don’t often find. The hotel itself is a charming boutique property, perfectly located for exploring Bruges. We would definitely recommend it for both its location and the outstanding service.

Wonderful hotel that’s centrally located in the historic district of Bruges. Pretty patio with a fountain to hang out at wHugh we did each early evening, and beautifully designed lounge and bar. Comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff. The amenities were great as well and the room had a fridge, safe and a few mini bar drink options.

Hotel de Castillion is a quiet and beautiful sanctuary in the center of busy Bruges, close by all major attractions. Service was exceptionally kind and friendly. Room was large, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast was well worth the cost, a huge spread in an equally luxurious wine-cellar-like area. Walk to and from the train station is an easy 15 minutes.||I would note that the bathtub was a bit precarious to get in and out of. This was not a problem for us but a guest with mobility issues should ensure they have a room that is accessible.||Hotel de Castillion exceeded our expectations during a special-occasion vacation. Very highly recommended!

Located in an historic property, this upscale boutique hotel is well located off the main square and definitely worth the splurge. |My husband & I were charmed by the elegant luxury through the property. We opted for the Deluxe Junior Suite, which made us feel like royalty! |Breakfast has abundant, delicious choices, so make certain not to miss it. |We enjoyed cocktails in the Art Deco lounge, but there is also an intimate bar should you wish to enjoy your cocktail there. Our only complaint is that you do not want to leave the property to explore Bruges.|Our room was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed in. Treat yourselves & indulge in Old World elegance.

Bruges is the most beautiful city and Hotel De Castillion really added to the experience. It is a beautiful property, cozy, charming & in the perfect location. We could walk to everything! The staff were really wonderful and kind. Breakfast was also very nice. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Fantastic central hotel, an absolute hidden gem. Friendly, welcoming staff who were more than happy to accommodate our needs. A central location plus private parking is a huge plus. The building itself is stunning, with a beautiful courtyard, impressive architecture and rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. I would highly recommend this hotel and happily stay again if I'm ever in the area.

I truly regret having to share this. This is because the people who worked there were so kind — there was absolutely nothing to criticize in that regard. Unfortunately, however, there was a very musty smell in the room. When we got home, we had to put everything in the washing machine, even the clothes I hadn’t worn. I even had to take my jacket to the dry cleaner the following week. That musty smell just kept coming back. But once again, all the staff were very friendly.

One of the BEST spur of the moment decisions we have made was to book a room here. Location is excellent, owner and staff are friendly and attentive, and the breakfast in the "dungeon" was simply Devine. Just a beautiful place to stay.

this hotel was so beautiful, each room was different and had so much character. the family was all very nice and helpful and accommodating. loved it.

I wish I could review a zero for this business! We could not enter Europe due to our worldwide pandemic that everybody knows about except for this hotel! When we finally can book a trip for this year, this business claims that our voucher expires in April so they are just going to steal our $800! Nobody is willing to work with us. It's very sad to see that a family run business can treat people so poorly and steal their money! This business should be embarrassed how they are handling peoples money! I wish I would have read more reviews because I am not the first this is happened to!

Awesome hotel in the middle of Brugge. Great breakfast and very accommodating. Parking is available and cool little bar.

This hotel stole $900 from me. When covid hit, they sent me a threatening email when I called my cc to get a refund. So, I accepted their voucher and then, they refused to extend it during a pandemic. Currently reporting this horrible hotel. Do not stay or work with this horrible place. What a nightmare.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Really captured the vibe you want to have while in Bruge. When my new husband and I walked through the door we were greeted by the welcoming staff by a warm fire place. This is a family run hotel who all work so hard to make the experience perfect. They sent champagne and desserts to our room for our honeymoon and even put roses on our bed! They called us taxis when needed, held our luggage before and after check out and even let us check in early. The rooms are beautiful and rustic with chandeliers with views of gardens and churches. Can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to go back !

The room, staff, building was fantastic and I'm not sure how anyone could have a bad experience here. Room was super clean, staff was amazing and hotel is centrally located to a lot of the major places that folks would need to visit. Loved this family owned hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Bruges.

The location, room, staff, everything was perfect ! my wife and me loved the style of this hotel. it's lovely how mother and daughter decorated this hotel. And the chocolate in the room gave us a warm welcome feeling in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing ! So many choices of bread, fresh coffee, home made deserts,... We had the stay of our life in this hotel! If you are thinking about staying in Bruges, don't look further, this is where you need to be!
