It was as if we were in the middle of the jungle with the monkeys, toucans and the croaking of the frogs Overall, our experience at Villa Sueno exceeded all expectations. Stop Looking for the Perfect Rental—This is It! Our stay at Villa Sueño was absolutely incredible, and we feel so fortunate to have had this experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was a luxury stay with thoughtful details and exceptional hospitality. We’ve traveled a lot over the last number of years, staying in a variety of accommodations. There has been nothing quite like this. The experience at VS is unparalleled, & the price point is perfect for the level of luxury and service provided. Accommodations & Atmosphere The villa itself is stunning—beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The space is well laid out, making it feel both inviting and private. Every detail, from the high-end furnishings to the thoughtful amenities, made for a comfortable & relaxing stay. It truly felt like a private retreat. The views here are breathtaking, with beautiful sunrises & sunsets every day. The weather was perfect, making it an even more enjoyable stay. With massive windows throughout, you’ll feel completely immersed in the jungle at every turn. The villa is surrounded by incredible wildlife, and during our stay, we saw geckos, white-faced monkeys, many birds—including various types of toucans, hawks, eagles, & yellow-tailed oropendolas—coatis, & butterflies. We also heard howler monkeys but weren’t able to spot them. The connection to nature here is unlike anywhere else. Our kids especially loved the pool & the board games, which added an extra level of fun and relaxation to our time at the villa. Booking & Owner The booking process was smooth and seamless, thanks to Giovanna, the owner. She was responsive, professional, & made everything easy from start to finish. It was clear that she takes great pride in this property, & it shows in every detail of the home & the service provided. Service & Hospitality The hospitality at Villa Sueño was top-notch. Everything was seamless, from check-in to our daily experience. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, always ensuring we had what we needed. Private Dinners & Dining Experience One of the standout experiences was the two private dinners during our stay. The meals were expertly prepared by Natalie & Roman of Cuisine by Chef Juan Pablo, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Even the kids enjoyed every meal, which says a lot! They were incredibly professional, focused on their work, & delivered delicious food. Excursions & Local Assistance A huge thanks to Ismael, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. He helped us book a fishing trip with Dolphin Tours, where we caught mackerel and brought it home—such a fun experience! He also arranged surfing lessons, helped us find the best grocery stores, and even found us a Catholic Mass to attend during our stay. His fast responses & willingness to help made everything effortless. Overall Experience Our time at Villa Sueño was beyond expectations. It was the perfect combination of luxury, relaxation, & exceptional service. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a truly special stay in Costa Rica. We would absolutely return! Stunning property, surrounded by forrest and wildlife, yet a short drive to local attractions and easily accessible without 4WD. Immaculate service from all staff, who are friendly & knowledgeable. Planning a return visit at the earliest opportunity.

Beautiful, quiet property with exquisite finishings, very clean. Peaceful setting with toucans flying through the trees, just lovely to hear and see all the birds! Spectacular sunsets. House is roomy, with high ceilings and sea views from all bedrooms and living area. Excellent air con for those who need it. Superb beaches, national parks, restaurants and sports tour operators (deep sea fishing, snorkeling and scuba) nearby. We loved the private chefs (a young Cost Rican couple) who came in the first night. Highly recommend. 45 minutes from Quepos airport, easy flight in from San Jose (SJO).

The perfect place to rest in family or couple. The place is big and intimate at thes same time. Comfy, romantic, quiet... And away from the touristy traffic. We will go back again and again.

A truly wonderful stay in this magnificent villa - it really is even better than the pictures suggest. I highly recommend a stay here - in fact stay as long as you can ! From start to finish this is a 7 star experience.
