We stayed at LV8 Resort for our first trip to Bali and overall had a great experience. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming – the staff were wonderful, and even my 14-year-old son mentioned how kind everyone was, which really stood out.
The pool area was definitely a highlight for us – it’s a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view. We visited one week before school holidays, so the resort wasn’t very busy and noise was never an issue. Our room was on the opposite side of the pool area, which made it very peaceful, though I can imagine that rooms closer to the pool might be noisier when the resort is full.
We chose the set course lunch/dinner option, which was convenient, but by the third day it did feel a bit repetitive. Not a major issue, just something to keep in mind if you’re staying longer.
While the resort is marketed as 5-star, I don’t think it quite lives up to that standard. There were a few things that felt off – showers and pool towels sometimes had an unpleasant smell, general maintenance around the resort could be improved, and overall cleanliness wasn’t always at the level you’d expect.
That said, our room was spacious, comfortable, and everything worked well, which made a big difference to our stay. Despite the minor issues, we still really enjoyed our time here and created some amazing memories on our first trip to Bali.
