I had a friend come over at 1:00 a.m. because he was in the area. We were in the process of going to my room when security got the attention of the woman at the front desk. She told me I only booked for one person and I could not have visitors. For some reason she thought he was going to spend the night which it was not the case. Definitely not going to book this hotel again. You also had teenagers running up and down the halls of the various floors. All Security did was sit at his desk by the door. There are no patrolling of the hotel

I dont understand Ukraines need to always put a male as a leader or supervisor even if its the less capable between the group. In the receptionist area all of the employees are women and one man. The women are polite kind and smart, but they put the man as the supervisor. The man is lazy, has an aggressive behaviour and barely does his job. My boyfriend works with the goverment and he almost lost his train because he had to take a taxi to the station asked this guy for help in how to to get the right address since his ticket was in ukranian and this guy was refusing to do it with an indifference and when he insisted becoming upset about it. Only when he asked to call his supervisor he agreed to help. You cant have a person like this wokring in reception and even worst, it seems like they put a person who shouldnt even work there as a supervisor just because he is a man.

Clean and neat hotel overall. Looks as it was recently remodeled. But needs some improvements! Showers should be maintained better. The major issue is the room key system. Still old mechanical keys and only one key per room for two guests. For a group of 70 it's a big issue at each arrival and departure which creates lines at the reception desk multiple times a day. Especially when roomettes arrive or departure at different times with different subgroups. There's also an ethical issue. The servicing personal has tenancy to speak Polish as soon as they sense, that the guest is from out of the country. I'm English speaking visitor and I always respect and try to understand language of the country I visit. While visiting Ukraine tourists are naturally prepared for translation from/to Ukrainian language. Not Chinese, Russian, Hindu or Polish...

It's not all bad with this hotel by any means, as long as you gauge your expections accordingly. It's a soviet era hotel and whilst it's been updated in parts, it's still frankly a bit dated and the level of service in certain areas will take you back 40 years to the days of the USSR. The establishment is well located just on the start of the old town and has excellent transport links but there is a bit of noise by traffic and inebrietiated locals at night time because of this. The room was functional more than anything else but the quality of the breakfast wasn't that great, though the quantity and variety of foods was good the quality just wasn't there. Overall this is not the first choice for anyone to spend a long weekend in Lviv but if there are no other options then it's an adequate fall back choice if nothing else is available.

I stayed here as part of a group tour. It's a huge hotel and was absolutely overrun with guests during our two night stay. The hotel is well located however it is on a super busy and noisy street in the centre of the city. Very close to all the major sights, but the noise was not worth the convenience in my opinion.||||Check in was fast and after a long wait for lifts finally got to my room on the fifth floor. Really small room with a bed, table, chair and fridge. That was it. No wardrobe, just a rail set into the wall with a coupe of hangers. Air conditioning was very noisy and fairly ineffectual and the road noise was very loud from the front of the hotel. there was even more noise from the corridors and adjacent rooms dye to paper thin walls and doors. You could hear everything the neighbours were doing! No charm to the room at all. Functional and small. The room was clean. Free wifi worked well and there was a bottle of complimentary water.||||Bathroom was OK if dated and there was plenty of hot water and clean towels.||||Breakfast was poor. It was a buffet but it was so difficult to get the food easily due to the crowds and twice I returned to my table to find plates had been removed by the staff or cups of coffee taken away. Much of the food was empty and was being replenished. Quality of the food was not great.||||The hotel allowed us to store luggage in lockers off the lobby for no charge. Although front desk staff were a little rude when we were negotiating access to our group room for late check out.||||The website pictures do not portray an accurate picture of the hotel.

Hotel is located in the center of city. If you are lucky, you get room with wonderful views on all old city. They have different kinds of rooms, some of them need repair. Good prices as for citycentre. They serve breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast is buffet breakfast, you can take everything that you need: snacks, hot dishes, drinks, desserts.|

"Professional" hotel, guarded parking - good place to visit if you need parking near the center. Pretty nice location, and one of the few places near the center with safe, guarded parking. The rooms are clean and quite nice.

On first look a little shabby and Eastern Block Socialistic Architecture but ... we arrived in the rain on motorcycles and they gave a nice clean room, welcomed us with open arms and had safe parking in the back. The rooms are a little small but clean and comfy. Large breakfast buffet.in a grand hall. Very good location to explore Lviv on foot. Loving it.
