Lviv Museum of the History of Religion

For less than $2 you get to explore the dungeons under the monestery plus see two halls of exhibits. Because of the war not everything is on display but it still worth visiting. They also have painting done by wounded soliders for sale. I purchased the one below and the thanks the volunteers showed made it worth five times what I paid

My expectations were a lot higher before I entered. The museum is small at the moment, probably due to a renovation. Nobody told me this at the entrance. However some of the paintings were really interesting.

Definitely worth visiting. Also famous for great concerts on the premises.

Good museum ✨ but nothing worth to go inside ✨

Very dissatisfied with the visit. The museum itself has nothing to offer for the moment. We all understand the situation with the war, but taking money for entrance and giving nothing to show-that’s simply dishonest. There are 3 (!!!!!) working halls in the entire museum, all of them contain pictures of the exposition that used to be here. The rest is closed for repair works or simply closed. So please, do not waste your time and money, at least now, until our Victory!

Like almost most of the Ukrainian state museums, there are not enough english explanation, neither audio guide or tour guide assistant. You just walking around and see the objects without knowing the stories. I shall recommend every Lviv visitors to attend free Lviv tours(like LvivBuddy) to get acknowledge about the city. Museums in the city are insufficient source in this issue.

The underground is short, but it worth 30 UAH to visit

I was here for an organ concert. It was good. Only get all things of the stage that are not necessary overthere.
