I was extremely dissatisfied with this hostel. At 4 a.m., a fire alarm went off with an unbelievably loud, piercing sound that felt physically painful. It continued for about 1.5 hours. Due to some kind of electronic malfunction, the dorm doors would not open, and we were literally locked inside during the alarm. No staff showed up, no contact, no support. If there had been a real fire, this could have ended very badly.
To make things worse, a window in the dorm was broken, causing constant wind noise and cold air all night. The overall atmosphere was awful, everyone was stressed and exhausted. I even had a flight that morning and was genuinely worried I wouldn’t be able to leave. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. I would not recommend staying here.
