25 Best Hikes in the World

"This long-distance coastal route follows Türkiye’s Lycia region and combines sweeping Mediterranean sea views, rugged mountain scenery, and ancient ruins. Hikers can tackle the full route in roughly three weeks or pick shorter day segments, with plenty of opportunities to stop in charming towns and swim in crystal-clear waters along the way." - Carrie Dennis Carrie Dennis Carrie Dennis is a New York City-based writer and editor with more than a decade of content strategy experience. Fabulous trail with fantastic scenery and pile of antient history in the background. In our case there were 17 fantastic days during which we have crossed plain valleys, mountain passes, sea cliffs, ruins of antient civilization (Lycians) we meet fantastic people, tried delicious, finger licking food, camp in some fantastic remote locations, crossed wild canyon streams and more. Trail is moderately difficult and definitely worth to have a go at it. You will not regret it. Two cons for me personally are stray dogs (some of them are quite large kangal shepherd dogs - not all of them are happy to see the hikers) and some of the plants which can be annoying and with quite long thorns. Anyway 10/10.

Well worth a visit if you're passing. 175tl as of February '25. Came in the off season so it was lovely and quiet around. About 1hr 30mins up and down to the canyon with a few stops to enjoy the views. Easy walking, normal runners would be fine no boots needed. There's these ziplines set up around the place and it does take from the experience. I see this place becoming more commercial and somewhat degraded as a result over time which is a shame. Other things to note: there's toilets, two cafes and plenty of parking. If you're coming from Antalya using Google maps make sure you take the correct turn off or it will reroute you over a gravel road that might not be suitable for some vehicles. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

It was a very fun and adventurous journey. We finished the first stage and then it was the turn of our Russian and Slovakian friends for the second stage.

the trail lasts 2 km. not difficult, almost always a straight road, without any special inclines. entrance costs 170 liras. In general, the nature is beautiful, but you shouldn’t expect anything spectacular. you can visit if you are somewhere nearby.

Oh, so incredibly amazing place 🥰 Paradise for me 🙏💖 The beauty of this nature can not be described enough in words. I also loved the pieces of art (sculptures) by some artist living here. You can meet a few along the way. Go and admire 🤩

One of those stunning landscapes that should not be missed . Sneaker are recommended as some path ways are wet or perhaps very shallow and you would need to take you Sneaker off in order to enjoy the place., four wheels cars are also available with additional charges and zipline too . The entry tickets are 20 Lira/p. and cash only
