We loved Lydia! She always took good care of us!

Very nice! I honestly had the best night sleep of my trip there! Also very clean, and the shower is lovely. I really appreciate having an affordable option in Placencia.

Me and my boyfriend had the best time here! We even extended our stay. The rooms are lovely and everything is very clean. Lydia and the other staff there are sweethearts. The location is fantastic and is only 30 seconds from a relaxing, uncrowded beach. There are some really nice bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away too. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Good value. Close to the beach. Shared bathrooms were clean and we never needed to wait. Zanily and Delmy gave great service.

Lydia’s was exactly what we needed. Really good Wi-Fi. A room with separate beds. Warm shower. A veranda to sit and chill. Close to everything in Placencia. Rooms were clean, and towels and soap were provided. Lydia was really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely can not fault our stay at Lydia’s. We loved it (and Placencia) so much that we extended and stayed an extra night. The rooms were small but the beds were comfortable and being located right near the beach you get a beautiful sea breeze whilst in bed or out on the balcony. The showers have hot water and were clean and taken care of. Lydia let’s you do your own laundry in the basin downstairs or she does it for you for $20BZD. Very relaxed vibe and in a great location. It’s not right in the centre of it all but only a short walk down the footpath into town. The wifi worked great and we would recommend definitely!

I stayed in Lydia’s Guesthouse for 2.5 months. I always felt safe. The site is clean. I met a lot of people from all over the world. The porch is a great spot to relax… right next to the sidewalk. The beach is steps away! Lydia has cabins on site, but are reserved for the winter months by long time renters.||Ms. Lydia closely watches over her property and guests.

Perfect place to stay, I looked at the other places in the village and didn’t find anything comparable to the price and quality Lydia is offering. Kitchen and even drinkable purified water is offered. The WIFI is good for work and conference calls. I loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants and everything what the village has to offer. I particularly liked the sea breeze, relaxing atmosphere and my evenings siting outside on the front porch. Thanks Lydia!
