It is clean and new, featuring a funky, vibrant design that gives it a modern, lively feel. The room is on the smaller side but comfortable for two people. Amenities include toothbrushes, bedroom slippers, high-quality refillable drinking water, and access to laundry facilities, which are useful for travellers. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is best suited for travellers without cars, as parking is limited, managed by a third party, and shared with a nearby café. Soundproofing could be improved — noise from neighbouring rooms, such as doors opening, closing, or furniture being moved, was noticeable at times, but voices are not audible. Overall, the hotel is in great location, clean, and well-equipped, though best suited for travellers without cars.

Great location. Room is small but well thought out and very clean. Comfy bed, good AC. Shower had good pressure but wasn't always as hot as I would like though not awful. Slippers provided but no bathrobe. The light switches are all over the place and no logic to the at all. It's nice that the hotel has self service laundry. The gym is pretty small, dumbbells up to 25kg.

I had a pleasant stay at Lyf Georgetown. The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful, making check-in and the overall experience smooth. The hotel is very clean, including the rooms and common areas, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The price is reasonable and good value for money, especially considering the modern design and good service. Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, affordable hotel with excellent staff in Georgetown.

The hotel is new and conveniently located. The rooms are nice, not too big and nice for 2 people. Bed and pillows are comfy and bathroom is clean. However, the shower temperature in my room was not consistent while the other room has good temperature even after a few showers. The pool is really small but it is indoor and accessible 24 hours, which is a plus. The pool water was murky and had this smell so we only used it once, which was quite disappointing. Other than that, everything was ok. Parking is limited.

I stayed for 2 days and 1 night while visiting Penang for my daughter’s graduation. The room was really good, clean, well-maintained, and cozy with a lovely orange vibe. I truly enjoyed my stay. My room was located near a nightclub, so it was a bit noisy at night, but everything else was great. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the front office staff treated me very well. Special thanks to Staff Divan And Staff Eva for the clear explanation and warm hospitality. I will definitely recommend LYF Georgetown to my family and friends for their stay in Penang. Came for a small get away and wow this hotel just made it easy for me and my family. Beautiful rooms, friendly staffs and perfect location. Would definitely visit again for many more travels ahead. Personally recommend for all kind of travellers… family, friends, couples or even solo.

Location great for us as its opposite a 5 star hotel.where we need be for a event. Clean spacious enough room with sitting area. Good clean drinking water available outside room for self pickup. Without a closet to keep clothings, only can hang clothings openly which looks kinda messy but it works. Its a lifestyle communal living concept hotel which is great if u not looking for a traditional hotel.

A good hotel with plenty of common areas. Guests can use the ground floor kitchen to cook their own meals. Each floor has a shared kitchenette with a microwave and 3M tap; providing potable, filtered water. Instead of bottled water, you receive a jug to refill - a nice sustainable touch. Our room was fine; a twin with a small seating area. It was cleaned daily, usually around 3 pm - as we were at the end of the hall. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. The ground floor staff (like the doorman and receptionist) were friendly and always greeted us. The location of the hotel was good. Both the pool and gym are open 24 hrs. The pool water was cold; ideal for laps, though not for relaxing. It could have been cleaner; there was hair on the floor and even a used plaster floating in the water. The gym was fine, equipped with dumbbells starting from 2,5 kg. The beds were small, but comfortable.
