Came here for a date night and was not disappointed! We had a late night reservation but didn’t end up getting seated until about half an hour after our seating time, however the staff were very quick to offer us a seat at the bar to at least drink and order food if we wanted. The bartender was very knowledgeable and offered up good recommendations on both drink and food options. Once we finally got seated, we were offered complimentary champagne as a thank you for waiting which was very nice. From there, our server Ovie took great care of us. The food came quickly once we ordered and all the staff waiting on us between clearing plates, cleaning the table and providing new cutlery were so efficient. What I also appreciated was the DJ and the type of music being played. It felt like I was at a club but there wasn’t any dancing and some tables had bottle service. I’m not sure if this place turns into a club or something afterwards as people were arriving at like midnight and there was a bouncer at the door, which I thought was odd. The food was very delicious and well portioned. You can tell a lot of care was put into the food and curating the menu. All in all, I would definitely come back again, but probably not for a while as it is a bit pricey. But you’re paying for the service, ambiance and quality of food.

10/10! Our server Walter was super kind and helpful! And the food here is on another level. I had the best Crispy Prawns in Toronto here!! Also highly recommend the Rigatoni Al Brasato Di Manzo and the Duck Duo 😍 Everything was so yummy, thank you…

Came here for my friend’s birthday, and the service and food were amazing as always. I’ll definitely be back! Ovie was an excellent server and really elevated our experience. Michael, the head chef, personally came and explained the dishes and every one of them was outstanding. Highly recommend the branzino and rigatoni for mains, as well as the Spanish croquettes and scallops for appetizers. This is hands down one of the BEST restaurants in Toronto. Shoutout to the bartender—the drinks and presentation were top-notch, and the kitchen delivered an exceptional meal from start to finish.

Came her for my partners birthday. Everything was really great, I filled up on starters so I didn’t end up getting any main for myself but he got the branzino which was good, a bit salty but good. The starters here are definitely more interesting than the mains I would say, which is fine for me since we just ended up ordering a variety of the starters, I really loved the burrata and the hummus dish, super fresh and those dishes let the individual ingredients shine really well. They also brought out a chocolate mousse for my partner at the end for his birthday. I think he was looking forward to that the most, it was a really great chocolate mousse though, creamy fluffy and not too sweet, so I would recommend to try their desserts out~

We visited with family and had an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. We ordered the Lyla Table (served family style), and every dish was outstanding. The service was great, the atmosphere was vibrant, the drinks were beautifully crafted, and the food was truly spectacular!!! A perfect restaurant for a memorable and intimate celebration. Thank you chef Mike!

Celebrated my birthday last night at Lyla and we were truly blown away by the service, food and cocktails. My friends and I all agreed this was the best meal we’ve had at a restaurant downtown in a very long time, nothing was a miss! The servers were all so tentative, the food came out piping hot & fresh and the cocktails were made to perfection. We tried the burrata, paccheri alla gin (honestly the carbone dupe for spicy rigatoni), steak au poivre with a side of spiced carrots and pomme purée - oh my god I am still dreaming about all of it! Can’t wait to return to Lyla!

An amazing dining experience with my family after travelling back to Toronto from living abroad. The food was unreal. Textures and flavours were on another level. And the service was unmatched. So professional and efficient. A great elegant vibe with cool techno playing in the background. A great atmosphere for chats over a delicious meal. This is Toronto fine dining at its best!

Positives - The vibes of the restaurant are great. Calm music, comfy lights & seats. Service - Was good but felt the food was coming in too quick. Food - Food was the okay bit. The pork cheek pasta tasted meaty to my liking. The sauce was good, pasta itself could’ve been a little better cooked. Sourdough breads were burnt which was unusual. For the quality that the restaurant adverts, they fall short by a lot.
