Room 22 was where I stayed, extremely clean, friendly, helpful staff. Close to the Airport, McDonald's just across the road. I rebooked my room for the return trip. Shower/toilet in the room. I had the ground floor for convenience. Only thing missing was a jug and cups!... wonderful stay. Highly recommend A+

Check-in was really easy, which makes this place especially convenient for early morning or late-night travellers since reception is open 24/7. The rooms are small, but that's expected at this affordable price point. Everything was clean and tidy, and it worked perfectly as a comfortable stopove.

Google
a budget-friendly capsule hotel near the airport, praised for its unique pod experience, suitability for diverse travelers including older guests, and a fun, novelty factor. Reviews suggest it's a good option for budget accommodation and trying out a capsule hotel, though you may need to provide your own soap.

Arrive at 4pm for the night as I was flying out of chch airport at 6am following morning. I booked female only room which contained 6 pods. Was perfect for my brief stay. Bed was comfortable. The recreation room and kitchen is massive, well equiped and clean. If you’re not cooking, right next door is supermarket and restaurants. Staff member I dealt with was lovely and helpful.

Very convenient to the airport. Friendly staff and good value for the price paid. Pods are as expected. No door on them but instead a pull down screen at the entry. Mattress was fine. Fan was noisy though and both USB ports didn’t work. Quite a climb to the upper podsRelaxed atmosphere in the large communal rooms. Overall a fair stat for the price.

Pods were really great. Not too pricey for a hostel near the airport. Really cool chill out space and kitchen area. Quite hot in the room but not too bad, such a good short 1 night stay! Also front desk team super sweet, had a later flight and they allowed me to check-out later

I don’t have basic wifi connection in my room. It keeps disconnecting and the staffs reply was they can’t do anything about it. The AC has a locked limit so I can’t change it to heat or cool according to my wish in my room because that’s how they control the system. The room and bathroom is fine otherwise. I am currently staying at the place and I can’t cancel my reservation because I booked through booking.com. The place is charging too much for too little. Not work $650 for 5 days at all. Really disappointed and I need some sort of discount for having to finish my stay here.

Lylo Christchurch has easy airport access… an easy 15 minute walk or a $16 uber. I got a queen room with private bathroom. The room was small however it was very clean and tidy. Staff were polite and friendly. McDonalds and KFC are a 5 minute walk away. If driving there is ample parking.

Yelp
Pod hostel! Plenty of parking, really friendly staff. Beds, pillow, and duvet are really comfortable, bathrooms are plentiful and clean. Common area and kitchen are also huge, kitchen is well stocked. Not very social though. One comment: female dorm rooms are more expensive than mixed dorms. Is that fair? Let's think about why women might want women-only dorms. One reason is because men are often creepy and don't treat women the way we should be treated. As a result, we feel safer in women's dorms. So not only do we already have to pay for period products for about 40 years of our lives in additional to birth control, the discomfort / fear / anxiety coming from how men treat us is being capitalized on? Think again, hostel owners.

Yelp
I was in New Zealand for work and decided to take a quick solo trip to Christchurch because I'd never been there. I didn't want to spend too much on accommodation, so I booked a night at LyLo. I got a queen room with a private bathroom, and it was very clean and simple. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities, but I didn't mind since I only paid about USD $100 for the night. There is a small shopping plaza next door with some fast food restaurants and a grocery store. The hostel is also nearby CHC airport. It does take about 15-20 minutes by car to get to the city center though. Overall I had a good experience. FYI JUCY Snooze has now been rebranded to LyLo.

Yelp
It is unlikely that we would stay in this particular Jucy snooze again given that we were just a bit far away from Christchurch centre. However, it is perfect if you're just flying in to make your way somewhere else in the South Island. The room was simple and clean, albeit small. Beds ok. The downstairs area and kitchen are pretty cool. Nice reception staff. It was only a one night stay for my husband, daughter and I. We were able to walk to the International Antarctic Centre right behind the hotel, and spent a few hours there - great to visit. We would certainly stay in other Jucy Snoozes elsewhere, like the one in Queenstown because it is much more central. On a needs basis, we would stay here again.
